Continuation of previous threads - come fess up here! We love hearing about stashes but also them being used up!!!!

Long time since i haven't posted!

I've been mostly good and have bought only 2 products that only comes out at Christmas time. Got a lot and i mean A LOT of nice stuff as gifts in the last few months. Lots of french toiletries and a delightful new perfume that has the exact scent of Cashew (the fruit, not the nut) which means i'm rocking brazilian summer smelling of cashew fruit/juice and feeling great about it! Lol! All this gifts are great because i'm completely skint and want to build some nice savings this year. My car will also be needing some serious engine work so i won't be buying anything at all.

I've used up many toiletries and a lipstick which is nice, since i almost never put lipstick on. I've saved money on Xmas by gifting a dear friend with a toiletries gift basket comprising of a few of the stuff i had on my stash. She knows they were mine, we laughed about it, etc.

Happy New Year gang. I got a few things and had no time to use anything but I promise to stop buying makeup- at least til Easter 😀

I did a bit of a stock take today and I have more body butter than one human can possibly ever use. Plus a huge soap and glory moisturiser and various samples. Its been a bit of a shock :p.

Oh can I join please!
Just stocked up on my foundation and moisturiser which I'd run out of but otherwise don't want to buy anything else this year unless I run out/essential!

Finished up the last of a soap and glory sugar scrub I've had cluttering up the bath for ages so one thing down!

I have 10 eyeliners... who actually needs 10 kohl eyeliners.

I just want to have a good look through that stash @bigstripeybastard it's amazing :D

consuela I have about the same. Pencil felt tip gel liquid... why. Why do I need all of these when I only ever use one at a time and they last for ages?!?!

Currently using up a bodyshop felt tip one, and a navy bodyshop pencil. I don’t like any other pencil ones other than my trusty Dior black one. So why do I buy them?!?! The new dior in the stash has been banished until old bluey is used up.

I’m sharpening regularly.

I have about 7 eyeliners (pencils, gel, felt pen) which wouldn’t be so bad except I never (literally never) wear eyeliner. And never have. A few are from wanting to wear eyeliner so buying it thinking I’ll eventually get it right but it doesn’t suit me and a few from boxes/calendars.

That’s commitment to beauty hoarding!

I have a similar issue with mascara, 6 full size and 4 minitures. I wear it about 3 times a year!

@Conseulabananahammock I'll count when I get home tomorrow but I'd put money on there is more than 20 eyeliners in my makeup drawers (yes drawers)

Interesting to see what people stash! For some reason, I have never stashed perfume. My vice is eyeshadows. I have so many palettes. I wear the same colours from the same sets every day. That said, I haven’t worn eyeliner for about 20 years and somehow I seem to have five which are somewhat younger than 20 years old!

I have finished a full size Rituals body moisturising lotion. 200ml, it has taken months. I am going to use some of my 50ml bottles now to produce everything empties quickly and spur myself on. Occitane to kick me off.

Finished a Kiehl's Amino Acid conditioner. Love this but want to find a cruelty-free equivalent.
Also finished a sample Autograph primer (from last year's M&S advent calendar). Not keen on, think it has made me break out.
Realised I have 4 brow pencils but no eyeliner. Do you think a brow pencil can double as eyeliner?

I have a million black eyeliners - none bought by me specifically (read advent calendars). I am trying to out make-up on every day in an attempt to diminish stash but it is a losing battle!

I actually thought that when I first read the thread. swap shop for beauty products. I think we all have things we tried once but prob wont use again.

I've managed to use up a hair mask from Avon this morning. It was pretty rubbish actually so I "reassigned" it to being normal conditioner and got through it. I buy from Avon to keep the lady busy else I dont think she gets out and she always has a cup of tea when she drops off. I suppose I should just invite her for tea :/

Also finished a small Molton Brown black peppercorn body lotion. It was nice but I wouldn't have again, they have better scents.

@Almostthere15 how funny I was thinking about Avon only this morning! About 25 years ago I was an Avon lady - I bought too much for myself to make any money though!

• First Aid Ultra Repair Cream 56.7g: sank in fast so good!

I'm going to do my audit tonight.
I'm going to photo everything individually, put it in a labelled folder on my iPhone and when it's used up I'm going to put a big Red Cross through it.
I thought about deleting the photo but I want to keep the evidence to shame myself into not getting into this position again.
Heres hoping my face and body actually get some real benefit by making myself use these products !

Milton brown Comice pear and honey hand cream - I love the scent but they've discontinued it

I did an audit of one box last night and found some frizzease hair products, 3 body lotions (travel size), a sample molton brown hand wash.

I have thrown out a creamy clenser that made me break out and a lush scrub tgat looked past its best.

Ladies I have accidentally discovered something wonderful.
Began to get what I thought was my first coldsore. So quickly bought blistex and dutifully applied it regularly. It disappeared. However for some unknown reason I thought I would try some on my massive bags for life under my eyes.
It works so well you wouldn't believe. Swear its almost completely got rid of them and believe me they were bad!
I feel very clever today.. you heard it here first 😂

I used to do Avon too (started while on maternity leave) gave it up 3 years ago....there is still stuff in the stash 😏

I worked for J&J for 5 years (left in May) I have a huge stash from there

Makeup is a problem.....I ordered sale stuff from revolution this morning (including 2 more palettes)

I did cancel the Birchbox tho....1 more will come next week then done.

Might sort out drawers and chuck out some old almost dead makeup later.

I’m in, have a huge stash although to be fair I spend the winter in Portugal and so there are things that I can’t get over here and others that are 3 times the cost 😏. Another problem is there are lovely products at my favourite pharmacy, with wee gifts. Not buying anything until I have complete no choice.
