Continuation of previous threads - come fess up here! We love hearing about stashes but also them being used up!!!!

Finished an Aveeno hand cream, it was rich, but not sticky. I have several others to use up before I will need to purchase any new. I'm looking forward to the last couple of days of my advent calendars, so I can get rid of the boxes and clear some space 😂

Finished a Nuxe Reve de miel hand cream.
I have bought this many times and probably will again, but I have loads of other hand creams to get through first.
I do love the scent.

Finished my body shop grapefruit shower gel today. Yay. And will hopefully finish a primer tomorrow.

Dm has stocked me up for a bit with Clinique moisturiser. Yay!

Just got a few mini shower gels and nothing is appealing to me in the sales always the way though when I have a bit of extra money to use- quite disappointed in the space NK sale though, usually get quite a bit there.

So all is looking good towards ‘low buy 2019’. Literally only going to buy replacements for what I use up- no more frivolous buying of all sorts!

I've finished an Origins shower gel - it was alright but not a lovely luxury shower gel as I would expect from them. Wouldn't recommend. Also finished an Origins overnight moisture mask - I love this mask & have another (mini) lined up.

Has anyone tried any of The Ordinary foundations? What did you think?

Considering picking one up.

@tinyradishI have indeed tried the Ordinary foundation - ok but not amazing. But only £6 or so so defo worth trying - could have been my skin.

• The Body Shop camomile eye make up remover: ok but I prefer using an all-in-one micellar water

Yeah you're right - for £6 might as well give it a try!

Belated Merry Christmas everyone!

Fell off the thread for most of December, real life getting in the way. Been resisting the sales today and catching up on the thread.

I made some progress in decreasing my stash and I had created room in the big plastic storage drawers I use, but I received a lot of beauty related gifts yesterday and I've now refilled the drawers and there's over-spill.

I will be going for a low spend 2019 again, I know I won't be able to do a no-spend year because I like a frivolous unnecessary purchase every so often. I've spent 20% less in 2018 compared to my 2017 spend thanks to this thread though, so that's an overall success even if my drawers don't close!

Had great fun opening M&S advent plus Aldi fake Jo Malone one but have somehow managed to leave all behind plus most of my pressies at my mum's 🤦🏻‍♀️ good job I remembered Kwicklet!!!

• Aromatherapy Associates de-stress muscle bath & shower oil 9ml: nice pine smell - quite reviving

Max factor primer done. Yay. Onto the next one. I never buy this. But Dm gave it to me she got a freebie when she bought dgrandma some make up.

I also bought two eyeshadow pallets today. Hufflepuff and ravenclaw. From boots. Half price.

A few empties-

A full sized petit marselais shower gel, honey flavoured which was not my favourite scent.

A mini champneys shower gel off of Christmas, nice enough.

A mini Klorane micellar water type cleanser. Had no idea Klorane did face stuff, only knew their hair stuff. Probably won’t explore the range further, not overly impressive!

Does anyone here use/like Mac studio fix foundation? I’m looking for a bit more coverage but Double Wear breaks me out.

Can I join you ladies? My shelves are overflowing but I still find myself in boots and Superdrug at alarming regularity. I've decided no more saving for best and instead I'm going to work through my stocks, particularly given how stocked up Christmas has left me!

I've finished a full size Kérastase ultime oil, this is a staple for for and I have a double pack in stock. Though the old one is in a plastic bottle and the new ones are glass so I'm not sure whether they've changed it or whether I've bought something slightly different.

I've had the M&S advent and Santa brought me loads of beauty gifts so I'm afraid there's no hope for the stash 🙈

Hope everyone had a good Christmas. I have far too much stuff now from advents and gifts! Really need to get through it. Already been in Lush and got a shower jelly, two sparkle jars(!!) They were in the sale though.. and a dream cream, will see if it works for my eczema. Not using straight away though.

Empties from me are:
Aussie 3 minute miracle hair mask.. Everyone raves about this, think it made my hair greasy quick when used.
Boots coconut and Almond conditioner.. Will repurchase when used up my others. Love the smell and my hair silky soft!
Lush Berry Berry Christmas shower gel. Glad to get rid. Boring.
Flashmasque hydrating sheet. Okay, nothing special.

What beauty resolutions does anyone have for the year? Mines to moisturise my body everyday Doing my skincare everyday, i get lazy! And obviously pulling back my spend. Last year It was have my nails painted all the time. Success haha!

• to not buy anything unless I’ve run out.
• hit pan on another shade in my naked pallet

I’m going to work to use up the following:

• tresseme dry shampoo
• soap n glory righteous butter
• joules shower gel (rose flavour)
• ysl burgundy mascara
• body shop felt tip eyeliner
• hand cream on my desk at work
• bare minerals foundation
• micellar water

I have made a 14 by Valentines list. First off list:

• L'oreal Unlimited mascara: loved this, much more than Lash Paradise. Has not ended but has been open longer than 3 months. I have others (from advents) to try in stash.

Sanctuary body scrub used up.

Have a massive Christmas stash to use up now but did manage to get though a lot of items last year

Used up a huge bottle of bubble bath and a tesco blueberry shampoo. They were the kids but 2 more bottles out of the bathroom 👍

Have finished a sample 1.3ml of Chanel Coco Mademoiselle intense....liked it just as i like the original...not sure I noticed much difference in the intensity at all though....

Also, have gathered together a collection of unused and unlikely to be used shower gels that I have acquired and have bagged them up....i.plan to drop off to nearest Food Bank collection point. I hope they will be able to use them because they are just sitting taking up space when I already have so many other products that I prefer and will use instead. I have so, so much, I will never run out of things to clean my body with and I genuinely don't believe I will regret getting rid of them. I'm just not sure whether to include the hotel minis (very big standard non branded stuff) as well as the 5-6 full-size bottles?
