missfliss you look fabulous! I wore my parka yesterday despite the warmth and was thrilled when there was an, all but brief, shower.

The storm grey is a taupey grey and goes with everything - I really have no need for the extra PS coats but at 40% off knew I would succumb.

Even with the discount way out of my budget. Must be nice to be able to spend that on a coat.

I went for the Commuter in Olive Green. It arrived today and I LOVE it. I'm losing weight post baby, so I'm about a 14 at the moment. The 12-14 is a good fit - with enough space on the boobs and hips. Pics don't do it justice, but it's really lovely. It'll work for both the school run and smart enough for work too.

I may have just ordered a Mac in navy too...

@LinzieProtectedSpecies I've been trying to get in touch with you as I tried my parker on for the first time today and I think there's a problem with the zip. I'm gutted as was hoping to wear it to a football match tomorrow! Has anyone else found that the zip is really stiff?

My zip is stiff too but goes up and down without sticking. I wonder if it’s because the fabric for the zip is waterproof which will make it more stiff.

My zip is slightly stiff too but doesn't stick. My parka finally got it's second outing today since June as it was spitting of rain .

Mac arrived and I am so pleased with it. Beautifully made coats. Love it! I get so much wear out of my city walker in atmospheric white, it's my favourite jacket for Scottish summers! Linzie do you know if there are any plans to do the parka in this color?

An update on my Sandstone Fawn Mac. I wore in in a torrential downpour and was completely dry. The rain, however, soaked my bag and as the handles were across my arm colour (or dirt ) left a brown stripe on my coat sleeve . Using a wet tea towel the mark completely wiped away when I got home . For anyone worried about the light colours getting grubby this may help your decision.

My Mac has arrived and it’s beautiful. I may have just ordered the commuter coat as well....

I agree scabetty got some dirt or oil on the sleeve of my white city walker and it wiped off with a damp towel when I got home

Commuter or parka for someone very skinny looking for stylish coat for school run?

School run / shopping etc! Basically just not for work!

caribbean sorry I've not seen the commuter but have the parka, city walker and Mac. Mac is the dressier out of these but to be honest both Mac and parka would be great for what you want to use them for. The walker is shorter length. Hopefully someone who has both commuter and parka will be along shortly to advise!

Just dived in at the death and bought the mac in burgundy. I ordered one last year (also on a special offer) in the burnt red but the colour wan't right and it was tight on the hips. This time I've gone for burgundy and sized up. I think a smart but fully waterproof coat is a very rare find.

For anyone still considering a purchase, the lovely folks at Protected Species have extended the code until tomorrow at midnight!

See now I am serious tempted as my old non waterproof mac has seen better days. Am a size 8-10 but large of chest. So think I will try 10-12. Going for a mac in blue.
