Which perfume always gets you a compliment?

I love perfume & seem to spend a lot of my disposable income on it. Either cheapies from next & Zara or more expensive brands 2nd hand on eBay. Yet no one ever comments on how nice I smell. I like to think this is because I tend to use quite fresh/citrusy scents which aren't too strong rather than people just don't like how I smell.

So just out of curiosity, do you have a perfume that people always notice or comment positively on?

Yes Onynx I inherited a love of it from my mum, she wore it in the nineties when it was called 'Champagne'.

Chanel Allure, or Jo Malone Cardomon and Mimosa, always get compliments whenever I wear one or the other.

Liz Earle No 1 but it is one of those perfumes that smells quite different on other people.

I've been complimented twice on different perfumes One was from Estee Lauder either Alliage or Azuree, I cannot remember. That was two ladies in a cafe. Admittedly EL's perfumes tend to be a bit strong (but I like them). The other was unusual for me, a Liz Earle one no# 100. I say unusual because of the flowers but it has vetiver and ylang ylang which I love and cypress too. A guy waiting on me in a cafe complimented me on my perfume.

That's interesting Crochetmonkey - I know people have different tastes - I absolutely loathe that scent and always think of Coopers fly spray! Sorry!!!

Every time I wear Dior hypnotic l get completed, lots of friend have since bought it

CK obession- I sprayed some in a shop today. It smells like bin juice on me!!

Vivienne Westwood Boudoir , I've worn it on and off since I was a teenager and I always have people ask what it is.

I'd love to love Alien but it smells bloody awful on me. My DH loves it so I bought him a bottle and he wears it himself instead.

Love perfume, I love la vie est belle and si but their body lotions are absolutely gorgeous. Definitely going to try some suggested here but I go nose blind if I smell too much at the one time.

Botega veneta - gorgeous leather, pepper and lime. I've had a few compliments on this ... Only ever met one other person who wears it as well.
