Which perfume always gets you a compliment?

I love perfume & seem to spend a lot of my disposable income on it. Either cheapies from next & Zara or more expensive brands 2nd hand on eBay. Yet no one ever comments on how nice I smell. I like to think this is because I tend to use quite fresh/citrusy scents which aren't too strong rather than people just don't like how I smell.

So just out of curiosity, do you have a perfume that people always notice or comment positively on?

Elie Saab and believe it or not, Avon Far Away (which I first used when I was about 15!)

Both Flowerbomb and Bon Bon by Viktor & Rolf are the only 2 perfumes I've ever been asked about and complimented on

Do you buy the oil or the perfume?
It's my favourite too but been buying the dupe from eBay

I've been complimented on most perfumes that I own (15 of them) but the most popular seems to be Armarni Code in the navy blue bottle. Gets a lot of attention. It's quite a heavy scent though.
My favourites are fresh scents such as Aqua di Gio.

Unless it’s a special occasion I wear Lidl perfume suddenly glamour, I always get compliments on how lovely it smells, cheap as chips too.

On a recent flight a member of cabin crew asked what perfume I was wearing, as she said how lovely it was, really made me laugh, I did tell her the truth though.

Wow so many replies - thank you everyone. I'm now trying to narrow all of the suggestions down to 12 so I can do one of those scent addict subscriptions. I know it's totally shallow, but with the perfume haul I have, I'd like at least one compliment on my lovely smell!

@MrsLucas I lurk on the perfume threads all the time. I never really have anything constructive to add so I don't post but I but love reading about different quirky perfumes that people are wearing.

I always wear Chanel Mademoiselle and it always gets nice comments. I wouldn’t wear anything else.

I recently bought Gucci Bloom and have had comments on it virtually every time I've worn it.

I fell in love with Bronze Goddess, distinctive but something so sniffable. Then my Dad told me I smelt like weed.

Jade by Yardley. Cheap but smells classy as hell, is a dupe for Chanel Cristalle but nicer IMO.

The Dove perfume oil from Perfume Parlour. So many compliments! Everyone says it’s such a lovely clean, soapy smell. Very strong and lasts all day. Not bad for 2 quid

Also I always get compliments when I wear palmers cocoa butter. Not a perfume but I get more compliments on that than I ever have with perfume.

I now wear Jean Paul Gailtier Classique Eau Fraiche, which always gets compliments. It apparently has notes of sugar cane, orange blossom and vanilla, I find it's quite a sweet scent, but not as sickly sweet as Angel.

It's not as heavy and floral as the original Classique which apparently has notes of rose, orange blossom and vanilla

Another one for Mademoiselle! It's just so distinctive I think people always notice it. Also la vie est belle. I did used to like the Thierry Mugler fragrances a long time ago, I used to wear Angel innocent, but I stopped liking it. I did recently sample Alien and did really like it though so may venture back that way!
I do also like CK Euphoria, and have had compliments on that too. Hypnotic poison is another!
