Which perfume always gets you a compliment?

I love perfume & seem to spend a lot of my disposable income on it. Either cheapies from next & Zara or more expensive brands 2nd hand on eBay. Yet no one ever comments on how nice I smell. I like to think this is because I tend to use quite fresh/citrusy scents which aren't too strong rather than people just don't like how I smell.

So just out of curiosity, do you have a perfume that people always notice or comment positively on?

MrsPatmore I loved Cabotine when I was in my late teens/early 20s. Might need to buy a bottle to take me back to my youth.

It is a gorgeous and unusual perfume.

It used to be YSL Champagne then renamed Yvresse

I honestly have never found a fragrance I liked as much and it’s as good as deleted now hard to come by

At the moment it’s 4160 Tuesday Silk, Lace and Chocolate

I’ve also had a lot of compliments for Tresor Midnight Rose

mommatotwoplus you can get a Perfume Parlour dupe of Midnight Poison - it was my Dsis fave and she was really pleased with the dupe version!

I used to wear La Vie est Belle and always got compliments but got really sick of wearing it! I still quite like getting a waft of it when people walk past (it's definitely the 'Angel' of now!)

I'm similarly obsessed with perfume and also buy loads (mostly dupes) but rarely do people comment on it. However I've had compliments on Hypnotic Poison and ironically my DH loves the one and only Britney Spears in my collection

Guerlain Shalimar. Perhaps because it's such an odd/unexpected scent? Men (old and young!) always ask about it.

No one ever compliments me either. Think this is either because I spray sparingly as I'm always eeking out a sample, or, I'm wearing weird stuff that smells of bat caves or croissants and hot tarmac.

I've still got about half bottle of YSL Champagne but it gives me a rash. ave to spray it on my clothes.

Can anyone tell me what the point of Molecule 01 is? I absolutely adore this perfume so for the last year have been wearing it but can't smell it! I won't waste my money again. Am now wearing Decadence and I get a lovely whiff of myself every now and then

People always mention Issey Miyake but I can't wear it any more as it gives me a sick headache.
Jo malone English Oak and Hazelnut has brought me dozens of compliments. I find it easy to wear, not summery but quite light, but it isn't particularly complex so it's effect has really amazed me.

Ooh Swedish I LOVE Dolce Vita.
I wear a few but it's always JPG Classique that makes people comment. It's pretty common but just delicious (imo).
