Which perfume always gets you a compliment?

I love perfume & seem to spend a lot of my disposable income on it. Either cheapies from next & Zara or more expensive brands 2nd hand on eBay. Yet no one ever comments on how nice I smell. I like to think this is because I tend to use quite fresh/citrusy scents which aren't too strong rather than people just don't like how I smell.

So just out of curiosity, do you have a perfume that people always notice or comment positively on?

When I used to wear JPG Classique I would always get complimented - remember having to write the name down for a taxi driver as he wanted to buy it for his wife! I’ve not worn it in years, maybe I should go back to it. Also I once had a bottle of CK euphoria which got a lot of nice comments, it was a gift from an ex though and I didn’t replace it when it ran out.

I get a lot of compliments on Paul Smith Rose, which is my everyday perfume.

Angel Muse is amazing 💕

I only ever use JM Red Roses and am told almost daily how nice I smell.

I can guarantee a couple of compliments every time I wear these two. Manifesto in particular from women - have been asked in shops, in the tube, at work etc what I’m wearing by other women.

Estee, by Estee Lauder - I discovered it when a friend wore it, and have had so many people ask me about it!

Coco Chanel - I get comments every time I wear it, but I only wear it in the evenings

Chanel Mademoiselle - I wear this during the day I also often get comments, but not as much as the Coco. Love both though.

I also love Stella McCartney's first perfume.

The one perfume that I always get asked what it is is Shh by Jade Goody. I was given it in a works secret santa and kind of looked down my nose at it, until i tried it and its gorgeous. Almost without fail every time I wear it I have people asking me what perfume I have on.
I bought one for my daughter and she laughed, but fair enough she said she would use it for work and only this morning I received a text saying bloody hell mum. I have had two people asking me what my perfume was and they never ask when I,m wearing my expensive stuff.

yes really Chicinwellies. I would never have even considered it either because i,m not a fan of celeb named perfumes, but its a really nice fragrance, it also gets good reviews on fragantica too. I just hope they keep selling it tbh. Its like £13 for 100ml of eau de parfum which is an absolute steal.
Its a warm, slightly sweet with a hint of spice . I,m terrible at describing perfumes, but this is lovely.

Its one of the few perfumes I repurchase and would be gutted if they discontinued it.

The thing I get most compliments on is my Hawaiian Tropic coconut body spray!

A dupe of Frederic Malle's Portrait of a Lady. It is called Lady Portraits from Perfume Parlour. It has strong rose scent. The original costs hundreds. It cost me around a fiver.

Armani Because it’s You. Not my usual style of perfume so, it may be more that it’s unusual for me. Also, Paul Smith Rose.

Mary Greenwell Fire (now discontinued) gets compliments (I prefer Lemon). And DH loves Papillon Dryad. As do I!

Issey Miyake, L'eau de Issey always got compliments when I used to wear it. So many people said they liked it and recognised it as me, so all positive responses!

I switched to Kenzo, I love the scent so am happy with it, it is lighter and I have noticed that there aren't as many comments, only people who are closer to me. Maybe that's a good thing, who knows.

Hugo Boss woman is lovely, I wear that sometimes, it gets compliments.

I've had 3 compliments about Lancôme Tresor, in the last few weeks, having never ever been complimented before!
