Avon's Odyssey - miss it so much

Just a note on sample pricing in case those reading want to know. Bloom samples are £2 each for Any in the shop- a bargain when you consider some samples are £5-10 online. You can only get this price by visiting the shop. Floral Street are £12 for an 8 pack of all their samples. They are good quality perfumes, so a great price.

OC, I know nothing about canoeing (except what I picked up from an old university bf who was/still is obsessed with it) but can I just say - Devises to Westminster? In a canoe?

Good tip about the PP Amouages. I have a feeling I may fall for at least one of the 8 samples I now have, but a FB will always be out of my reach.

I am still getting faint whiffs of the Mary Greenwell Lemon I put on at 7.30 this morning - lovely.

DS2 (aged nearly 10) has taken a liking to my 4160 Pillow Talk sample and is now insisting on a little spray on his bedding every night. It apparently helps him sleep . He is so suggestible but I'm enjoying his interest! He always has an opinion on what I'm wearing and comes up with some interesting descriptions.

Quick question - does anyone have an opinion or experience of SJP Sheer Lovely? I'm not hugely keen on Lovely but had a spritz of this one yesterday and quite liked it. Its on offer at boots atm.

SOTD has been the PP version of Killians Back to Black. I put it on this morning at around 10am and it's still going strong now, it's really nice, i'm enjoying it very much

Hi all of you! I normally wear Miss Dior - original but have discovered Aqua di Parma colonia intenza. The guy in the shop told me it's for men!! I may have to buy for my husbands birthday.

I remember OC - was never sure whose endurance was the more impressive; junior Socks for completing the course, or yours for cheering along all the way. Think I've got off lightly with musical theatre

There used to be four of five in the hortensia h range, but both mercadona only had cyprum. I always liked them. They were €11....but don’t last for long.

I also bought luz de flor serena...not on list and azur de Puig also not on list.

I can second the recommendation for PP versions of amouage scents. I blind bought Lyric on a whim after reading about it on this thread and it's lovely - rose and ginger

SOTD is (yet another) PP dupe - this time for the discontinued Alexander McQueen Kingdom. On first blast it's a more wearable version of Theo Fennel but dries down to remind me of Black Orchid -not sure I like it but its very distinctive

Greetings everyone - I have been lurking for at least the last 2 threads and now I feel I must unmask myself and say thank you! I have rediscovered perfume thanks to all of you. Sotd is Pell Wall Tuesday (it says a gourmand but is almost like a cologne-y gourmand to my nose) which I really like so far, I went for the sample deal of 4. I am amassing a list of 4160 Tuesdays that I will try and have been basking in a discovery sample set of vanilla fragrances. Next stop for me is the Star Wars perfumes, if I can source them in Germany! So thank you, I feel like a whole new woman lately!
