Oh dear
13 body butters
14 body lotions
2 oils
Will start with one of the butters which is almost finished..

beanaseireann · 26/09/2018 19:46

I hate having to dunk my fingers into body butters - I prefer flip top cap body creams or lotions.

LanguidLobster · 26/09/2018 20:56

I can't find my bloody well this works camera transit thing to even to use it up. Grrrr

I had a flurry in the bathroom earlier then got irritated and wandered off.

So I guess I'm cutting down by misplacing

frugalkitty · 26/09/2018 21:18

Experiment baby is gorgeous! Make the most of being able to get in the bathroom while you can because by the time he's a teenager he'll be in there longer than you! (and have more products than you too if my eldest DS is anything to go by Grin )

PurpleNailVarnish · 28/09/2018 09:24
  1. Fragonard Fleur d'Oranger The only Fragonard perfume that I haven't liked so I've used it up as a room spray.
  2. Omorovicza Queen Of Hungary mist This is an essential for me, I've bought more.
  3. Schwarzkopf Gliss Conditioner A bit disappointing as I love the leave in conditioner, I won't buy it again.
ememem84 · 28/09/2018 13:09

I had a mishap in the Feelunique store. Oops.

Urban decay born to run pallet
Eye shadow primer
Lipstick.

Oopsy.

twoblackdogs · 28/09/2018 13:55

Long time no see.
I am getting tired of all my stuff. And now I'm wondering if it would be better just to get rid of it all, no matter how. The money has been spent anyway, and I will never get its worth back. All those eyeshadows - I know I will never be able to use it ALL up. And the lipsticks. It somehow has stopped to give me joy. I try to use what I have, but it is so SLOW.
So maybe I should just give up, chalk it up as an experience in stupidity, draw the line and throw the lot away.
The only problem is - what if I buy it all back again?
I have been so stupid, spending all that money.
Do you sometimes feel it would be better to give up? What's done, it's done? Of course, those fleeting moments of satisfaction while buying it, but after that?
Well. Quite pessimistic today Hmm

twoblackdogs · 28/09/2018 14:05

Oh and I just now read back.
@Experiment - I lack words. Flowers Flowers Flowers

TheHammaconda · 28/09/2018 14:57

Could you sell your stash on eBay @twoblackdogs?

ememem84 · 28/09/2018 16:01

I’m chalking some of my spending up to stupidity. But I am determined to use things up.

If it means I wear green eyeliner for a few years weeks then so be it.

I am going to embrace this. To find out what suits me and what doesn’t.

NiceUnusualDifferent · 28/09/2018 21:41

twoblackdogs I’ve worried about that myself but find, while I have lots of something it’s easy to add to but once I’m down to my last one I won’t just buy anything iykwim? Not sure I’ve explained that very well

ememem84 · 29/09/2018 10:24

Ditched a lipstick that was a) a few years old and b) completely the wrong colour for me. Too light and a bit too shimmery.

So it’s binned.

HoardingQueen · 29/09/2018 20:07

Finished off an M and S magnolia shower cream, quite nice, can't wait to finish off an M and S Bubbles and Fizz hand cream my Mum got me last Christmas, it smells bloody awful but determined not to chuck it away, got loads of stuff bought at car boot sales over the summer stashed under the bed to use (love looking at it!) , but in new job less money so nice to have a pile of lovely stuff to use without spending :)

Nope koko I have a barely used clarins foundation. It’s the right colour for me just I don’t wear it. I opened it in 2016....I know this because I bought it for royal ascot and thats the year I went with friends.

I will check it later and use it if I can.

Broke into my bare minerals pallet last night. Used a deep pink/purple shadow, and some gold glitter eyeliner as well as black, burgundy mascara.

Dh took me out for dinner for my birthday (next week). I felt like everyone was staring at my face as it was much bolder than I’d usually go. But they weren’t.

TheHammaconda · 30/09/2018 09:37

Just finished an Elemis Day cream an L'occitane vervene shower gel. Liked both but there are things I like better so don't think I'll replace them (and have about seven years' worth of moisturisers and showers gels anyway). Chucked an anti aging wrinkle cream, going to finish off a mask this evening.

ememem84 · 30/09/2018 10:42

BAr soap finished. Body shop grapefruit one.

Experiment627 · 30/09/2018 11:30

@twoblackdogs nice to have you back!

I have hit pan on a Makeup Revolution root cover-up! This stuff is a life saver - I desperately need to do my roots!!! However that will have to wait until I am back home - cannot risk staining anything at my mum's!

My hands are getting very dry so I am going to try and make headway with hand cream usage. Lips were first to go - I am now alternating lip balms as I think the one I was using exclusively was drying.

Cos I am a very proud mumma thought I would share another photo of Kwicklet

😍👶🏻😍

CantChoose · 30/09/2018 22:18

Aww kwiklet is gorgeous! I have my 20 week scan tomorrow so keeping fingers tightly crossed all is ok in there!

I think we can all agree this lipstick is finished?! It's taken around a million and one years to finish. I got it about ten years ago on a tour of the rimmel factory. It's the ?iconic 'heather shimmer'. But no more. I've brought out two new lipsticks from the stash so in two million and two years I will have finished those too!

I've also finished an eyeco black magic mascar. Quite liked this but I wouldn't repurchase as i prefer hypnose or rollerlash. I'm using double wear mascara now which I really don't rate at all. I'm very disappointed with it.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 30/09/2018 22:53

Ahhh Hello Kwicklet - gorgeous little boy Grin

twoblackdogs · 01/10/2018 11:49

@Experiment
Are his eyes blue?

@CantChoose
This lipstick is definitely finished. Congratulations!
Let's meet in two million and two years, when you will have finished your lipsticks, and I - my eyeshadow palettes. On the second thought - I'll be still a proud owner of at least three unfinished palettes...

@TheHammaconda
I'm afraid I can't sell these palettes. Some of them used, some gently used and swatched...

@Ememem
I admire your determination. Will take note.

PurpleNailVarnish · 01/10/2018 13:12

Hey baby Kwik is soooo scrummy.

CantChoose · 01/10/2018 17:31

@twoblackdogs I think I've finished more eyeshadows than I have lipsticks but it's a close run thing!

Treeballarae · 02/10/2018 01:20

@NiceUnusualDifferent you are not alone, 19 body lotions/butters/oils to use up here, that's not counting foot creams and hand creams.

@CantChoose - well done on finishing a lipstick! I don't think I've ever done that!

Empties!
Aveda stress fix mini body lotion and creme oil wash - from last year's MYOBAC - didn't like the smell, a really sweet lavender smell, didn't help me sleep

Bioderma shower oil - love this, the smell transports me back to the 1990s (in a good way) but I can't think what it reminds me of. Got a 1 litre bottle of it to use now.
