The Holland and Barrett one is the 19th one in the list but no details, just a pic of the box

PurpleNailVarnish · 14/09/2018 22:45

Yeah I know, I should have just donated it to one of the DDs or binned it Treeballarae but it was a bit pricey compared to other overnight conditioners and I'm determined that if I buy something then I should use it. I'll only resort to the bin in extreme circumstances.

For me that's part of the challenge; I've bought all these products and no matter how rubbish they are I'm going to flipping well use them!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 14/09/2018 23:22

I was this close > < to buying a bottle of MOP (Modern Organic Products) Bail&Mint shampoo in HomeSense (£10) but I gave myself a talking to and remembered all the shampoo I have.
Basil &Mint isn't my favourite , if it had been the Pear one though........

ememem84 · 15/09/2018 07:37

Calendars i like the look of:

Clarins
Clinique
Feelunique
Ysl
M&S
Body shop.

Sigh. Guess who wants a calendar now.

Alicatz66 · 15/09/2018 09:55

Just finished a Clarins Renee plus body serum .. sad times .. this is the one and only thing I can't live without .. people actually comment on my skin ... luckily have a new one I got for my birthday!!! Working on Korres fig body milk .. like Korres but not sure about the fig .. prefer citrus ...
Also .. the one thing I struggle to use up is body butter. I have 2 big ones . A Body Shop and a Soap and Glory .. try just feel too greasy .. maybe will use them as foot cream.. anyone else think this ?

Alicatz66 · 15/09/2018 09:56

Renew!!! Not Renee !!

applesandpears33 · 15/09/2018 10:39

I've dropped off this thread for quite a while. I'm still trying to get through the stash, but full size products take me so long to get through. With the change in the weather I'm starting to get through more body lotion. The skin on my legs is starting to feel itchy by the end of the day so I may even graduate onto body butter. I think I have at least three in the stash.

ememem84 · 15/09/2018 14:58

Eyebrow pencil done. I had a teeny bit left and then it snapped. No saving it.

I’m not sure I liked it anyway....

Experiment627 · 15/09/2018 16:27

@Treeballarae thanks for the link! I think now I have to decide between that one and the Lush one (if they actually make one!). I have the Look Fantastic and Body Shop ones already ordered

@applesandpears33 how are you doing sweetie?

OP posts:
PurpleNailVarnish · 15/09/2018 17:43

@applesandpears33 if I've got a body cream to use up I slather everything in the stuff, day and night. My hands. Feet, elbows, knees and everything else in between, including the gerbil we don't own a gerbil.

Operation 'make your own beauty advent calendar' MYOBAC is going great guns, I'm enjoying choosing small things for it. No funnel though.

I made a SpaceNK order recently and there was a problem with it. SpaceNK customer services were very good and sent me out some free stuff, I was very impressed - as far as I was concerned it wasn't a massive deal.

PurpleNailVarnish · 16/09/2018 13:11
  1. Penhaligons perfume set Prefer the Fragonard perfumes so won't buy this again.
  2. This Works Deep sleep breathe in roller ball A nice smell but didn't help me sleep so won't repurchase.
  3. Olaplex 3 Love this, it's helping with my sun dried hair. I might get the full salon Olaplex treatment.
RJnomore1 · 16/09/2018 13:37
  1. An argon oil conditioner. Just a cheap one but it's one I use a lot so will replace.
AnythingButMagnolia · 16/09/2018 13:47

What is this thread, how does it work? Do we list all the stash items we use up?

Can I join?

I have the problem that I will get around to using a product in a stash (might have been bought over a year ago), find that I like it, attempt to repurchase, discover now discontinued.

PurpleNailVarnish · 16/09/2018 14:13

@AnythingButMagnolia hello and welcome Smile
I'm hoping it's ok for me to represent the thread here.

You're welcome to post details of your stash, photos are good too so we can admire the products.

Some people have a goal, for example; at the moment I'm trying to use up as many full sizes as I can before the start of December.
But you know, use the thread as you want to, you do you.

For me this thread has helped me to take stock of what I have and ensure I use it up.

There's also chat about products we like/don't like and others that are coming out.
That and general chat.

I hope that helps?

AnythingButMagnolia · 16/09/2018 15:09

AnythingButMagnolia · 16/09/2018 18:41

Oh dear

PurpleNailVarnish · 16/09/2018 19:02

You haven't killed the thread, was the L'Oréal shampoo the clay oily roots one?

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 16/09/2018 19:21

Operation 'make your own beauty advent calendar' MYOBAC is going great guns, I'm enjoying choosing small things for it. No funnel though

I'm buying small things for DD - mixture of bodycare/hair/some ponytail bands/make-up/face mask/cleansers.

I'm trying to introduce some new brands to her (she likes her High End products and all must be cruelty free . I'm also CF but I don't wear make-up and I'm more Superdrug than UrbanDecay Blush )
'Tis a minefield I tell yah. Some products are vegan but not CF. Some are CF in UK but sell in China (so they're not) . Sigh.

She would LOVE a funnel but she's already got one in a little travel set .

.

AnythingButMagnolia · 16/09/2018 19:26

Purple, no it's "multi vitamins for normal hair". It's probably about 4 years old!

TeaAddict235 · 16/09/2018 20:21

@AnythingButMagnolia I think that I had that about 4 years ago. The conditioner was brill! Actually it's what got me hooked on L'Oréal. I had never used that previously. My hair loved it. You mentioned about falling in love with products then being unable to find them, check Ebay. I know that I've been able to refill my stash top up with products which were getting increasingly difficult to find. Some companies sell in bulk on EBay when they are coming to the end of stock or they have stock with the former branding or labelling. So you can get good bundles especially after Christmas of particular branded items which had seasonal packaging. If that makes any sense Confused

God I'm a product Junkie Blush

PurpleNailVarnish · 16/09/2018 20:34

@AnythingButMagnolia and @TeaAddict235 is it this one?

Even though MYOBAC is daft I'm enjoying finding the products for it, it's like buying my own Christmas presents Grin better than buying an expensive calendar of things I don't want or I've already got. I try to always buy CF products and I do my research but some brands hide it well.

A MYOBAC sounds perfect for your DD 70isalimitnotatarget, I don't know of a vegan calendar.

Green lipstick?!

PurpleNailVarnish · 16/09/2018 20:51

Yes @ememem84 it's green but it's pink or pale red on your lips, depending which one you buy.

AnythingButMagnolia · 16/09/2018 20:51

Purple- no that's not the one. Will try to find a pic.

Em- it's green in the tube but goes on pink.
