@TeaAddict235 you poor thing!! I think I have only thrown up once preggers and that was down to some bad fish

ememem84 · 06/09/2018 21:26

I was never sick when I was Preggo. Not once. I had a few close calls. But never actually did it. Phew.

Am close to finishing a clarins multi active yeux. It has not made my eyes look younger. Or brighter. Or tighter. So will probably not rebuy. I have a benefit eye cream to use up next.

Also almost gone is a blow dry spray. It’s an Amika bombshell blowout spray. It’s nice. Smells good. Leaves my hair with a nice shine and seems to help keep hair straight when I straighten.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 07/09/2018 08:59

I have 2 empties -
The Korres showergel (which I liked and I'll buy again if M&S or Waitrose do a bogof)

A litre of PK Elasticiser that I found tucked in the cupboard and made an effort to use it. I'm not a huge user , but I slathered loads on last night after my VitC hair mask. It had a BBD of July 2014 Shock , I cannot remember when I bought it , but it was a QVC special offer.

I've had various tubes of the coconut or the pomegranate which I much prefer.

ememem84 · 07/09/2018 17:44

Empty. Sort of.

I’ve lost my clarins lip stuff. Ah. I’m sure it was in my bag. But can’t find it. Have emptied bag onto the table in the naice bar I’m in. And it’s not there. Sadface.

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 07/09/2018 21:40

I totally remember the smell aversion during pregnancy. I dreamt of a scent free world! You poor thing tea.

I’ve succumbed: Body Shop advent calendar bought (the biggest one too!)
But to justify it I’ve had a good run using up stuff! Managed to do an August no buy and resisting so much!!! Will save for December I hope!

Finished:
Virgin mojito set from Body shop. My fave summer set but back to school so all done!
Almond and honey shower gel from TBS. lovely smell and pretty moisturising.
Garnier micellar water. I don’t know why I persist trying these as my rosacea does not like it! End up cleaning brushes with it!
M&S tanner drops. Didn’t really notice so wouldn’t repurchase.
Snail cream from Mizon, Korean brand. Thought I loved this but must have changed formula as don’t love this!
Aldi night cream. Great. Will def repurchase as reasonable and smelt great. Using an oil I found in stash but just ok!
Make up revolution concealer. Thought it was the fab Conceal and Define but bought focus and fix by accident and rubbish. Could not make it work so bin! Also an eyeliner found bin, lasted about 16 mins of regular day so not up to job!

Finished 2 perfumes which were very summery so timed it well; J Lo deseo. Now discontinued. And virgin water dupe. Will buy again next summer.

Also moving offices so had to clean out drawer and found 4 hand creams! Lordy. Best get working on these to justify advent calendar!

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 07/09/2018 21:41

Sad face to you Em. Hate losing nice things. It just doesn’t count!

DragonNoodleCake · 07/09/2018 22:35

@TeaAddict235 I get it but it was the smell of food that made me sick

DragonNoodleCake · 07/09/2018 22:37

I bought the urban decay naked 3 palette, Chanel chance eau fraiche and Jo Malone summer limited edition Sakura blossom fragrance on the way to the Algarve last week

Ooos 😁😁😁

DragonNoodleCake · 07/09/2018 22:39

I've been looking at the agent calendars too ... I got rituals last year and loved it. Bare minerals one looks good, also the Fenwicks one.

Make me step away

Experiment627 · 08/09/2018 08:41

@AnotherPinkiePieStory I too have sinned with the Body Shop large advent... also bought a few more items to get the 15% off offer... there is no hope for me 😬

@ememem84 I am sure it will turn up

@DragonNoodleCake how are you???? Mahoosive snog!

I found it!!!!!!

On the floor in our room. Which is odd as I thought I’d used it at work yesterday...

But hey ho. Found it.

TeaAddict235 · 08/09/2018 12:01

I like that phrase I'm adulting @70isaLimitNotaTarget . Is that being grown up about using up products and only starting a new one once the opened one has finished? If so, I ain't adulting but desperately want to be sensible and open one product at a time. How do people do it? Another thing that I have never understood is how you can run out of shampoo or conditioner???? One of my dearest friends had shampoo and conditioner in big bold letters on her fridge door on her shopping list and it had been circled and underlined loads. I chuckled and read it out loud as I returned the milk and she exclaimed that for about a month she'd been forgetting to buy some!!!! Okay, she has 3 under 8's so shopping must be a military operation, but still! And so I said I'd gladly donate bring some over next time. Her 'thing' is nail polish, she always has her nails polished and can't understand how I can't be bothered. Life eh?

ememem84 · 08/09/2018 14:33

I have a bottle of shampoo and one of conditioner. 1 litre of each. Or they were. Once I use these up I’m out. But will use some of the many bottles Dm has kicking around the shower. It’s ridiculous. She has 6 different ones. And bought more today.

Experiment627 · 09/09/2018 08:16

@ememem84 good job!!! I fear the babybrain lasts long past actual arrival of baby!

@TeaAddict235 I bloody hate adulting!!! Unfortunately I have a lot of that left to do before Kwicklet arrives - things like answer a letter about my pension, reduce down the size of my personal email, batch cook...

Hi ladies I want to join in the decluttering beauty stash fun. My main problem is perfume and moisturiser I have so many I don't think I need to buy moisturiser for a good decade!!

I also have an issue with saving travel minis which is ridiculous as I accrue more every time I travel. Planning to use up my stash of shampoos and conditioners before I buy more. I would like to buy a nice shampoo conditioner as a treat once all used up any good recommendations? Quite interested in sulfate free options too. Have been looking at bumble and bumble thickening shampoo but couldn't work out if it was sulfate free!

ememem84 · 09/09/2018 09:00

I had a moment with dsis yesterday (she cane round had a rummage in my wardrobe took some things and declared they were hers now...)

We went through the make up stash. She suggested that I ditch some stuff. I’m not going to wear dark cherry red lipstick. I’m just not. So she took it for her friend who does.

I’ve also donated my hotel stash to my colleague (or will do) as one of her neighbours houses burnt down the other day and they need stuff. I’ve kept the clarins and Clinique travel minis though.,,, for my guest room....

Alicatz66 · 09/09/2018 09:25

Finished a teeny Clarins sample toner.. working on mini Redken shampoo now.. the mini things are getting on my nerves now !! ... if I go away for the weekend I can just shove bits into little pots and bottles .. or haul all my big pots if in uk ! I always take stuff from hotels and never finish them up !

Alicatz66 · 09/09/2018 09:27

faykceb .. I have some Maria Nila Hair products and they are amazing !! Also Redken always good x

ememem84 · 09/09/2018 14:53

Empty. A Mitchum deodorant. Boring but a staple.

RJnomore1 · 09/09/2018 23:18

3 empties today!

  1. A Clinique colour pop lipstick, a nice summery pink. It was a present and not a colour I'd necessarily buy but it did suit me and I'm very pleased I finished a lipstick.

  2. Finished one of my usual Clinique foundations. Well pretty much, they seem to live forever, I bought a replacement two months ago and I was still managing to scrape the sides of the old one but I got fed up today and binned it.

  3. A korres overnight radiance mask. Not a product I have had before but I loved this used once to twice a week. It smelt amazing too. Would buy again when I finally get through enough night creams to be able to Blush

Experiment627 · 10/09/2018 09:39

Welcome @faykceb !!!!

Great progress @ememem84!!!!
House burned down? How awful!

I have an empty!!!

  • Superdrug Vitamin E SPF 15 day cream: has seen me through the summer. I love the smell. I already bought a replacement - a different Superdrug own label one.

RiskIt4Biscuit · 10/09/2018 09:56

Two empties today:

Waitrose pure shampoo. It’s a sulphate free shampoo, and I really did not like this for my hair. It doesn’t lather up (sulphates help with this afaik) and made my hair feel like a hair stack. I have been using it for my makeup brushes and sponges, and it has been very good for that purpose. I would repurchase it to use as a brush and sponge cleaner.

Cover FX illuminating primer. Really liked this, probably will repurchase when I have used up my other primers.

Treeballarae · 10/09/2018 12:14

@faykceb the Bumble and Bumble thickening shampoo contains SLS, I'm using a sample of it at the moment I got from Feel Unique, so I won't buy a full size, but it does smell nice though. I mainly use sulfate free shampoo and silicone free conditioner, I like Liz Earle shampoo and conditioner, Jason shampoos and Faith in Nature shampoos and conditioners.

RiskIt4Biscuit · 10/09/2018 13:10

Alicatz66, where do you buy Maria Nila?

I just bought a shampoo (the volume one) in Denmark, but it would be much easier for me to buy in the UK/from a UK website.
Looking online, I don't really know any of the websites selling the brand and some of the reviews of the sites are not exactly great.

I've only used the shampoo once, but my hair feels lovely, and the shampoo smells so good, so despite not being in a rush to buy more, it would be nice to know where to buy it :)

Alicatz66 · 10/09/2018 17:30

RiskIt4Biscuit... I got my shampoo from Amazon .. but my friend who is vegan bought me some great heat protection spray and a conditioning mask for Xmas ... I will find out where she got it x
