ok depsite haveing no real idea what dh does we are off on a works jolly in a ocuple of weeks to the caribbean fo four days. its a BIG deal fo dh to eb invited.

his company is from texas. there will eb a few hunder folk there, range of activites kayaking scuba divign snorkelling bike rides ectetc swimming wiht dolphins and so on.

and a restraunt night(?) and a gala dinner(!!!) coctail or long dresses - dont do long

need fashion ideas for that evenign and generaly colthing. haev lots of white bottoms need ideas fro what to wear during the day
accessories at snazzy hotel( haev never done snazzy) and so on

dh says th women will have big hari and square finger nails.

Daywear, well, it'll be walltowall Ralph Lauren. You'll have to decide how close to that mode you want to go, & if not doing that mode how your style will look against theirs.

For instance: if they're all wearing ironed chinos, silk&cotton polo shirts & very very neat little tiny shiny flat shoes, do you really want to be wearing a bright turquoise gathered-waist gypsy skirt & metallic wedges?

people from the E coast wear RL, or epople form elsewhere wear RL when on the east coast

Americans dress very tidily IME. Ralph Lauren polos are nice mind you, just bought one for dsd at the York outlet. Worn with white jeans looks very nice, or chinos I suppose (spit)
What about nice dresses? If they don't have Boden there I'll bet that would be OK. Americans always wear shorts. Some keds type plimsolls. Designer swimwear and good sandals. Do you have a posh evening dress? If coming to London why not go to the personal shopper at Selfridges or Peter Jones? I bet they get this a lot. And good excuse to buy nice clothes rather than trying to ape someone else's corporate clone style?
