A few attempts to snow here but I absolutely forbid it. Just can't afford snow days at school or work. I am resolutely putting my fingers in my ears and shouting LA LA LA whenever it's mentioned soifthat doesn't stop it I don't know what will.

SotD was 24 Old Bond Street. Really enjoyed it - strong Juniper and luckily none of the stated whiskey. Fab sillage too.

Sotd was Cabochard, soapy leather, yum yum. Dinner is sausages and roast potatoes and aubergine. I missed loads of the ebay things I wanted but none were sold so hopefully will be relisted.

My Parisienne Clinique blue-grey eyeliner arrived which is lush. The lipstick I ordered was OOS and replaced by a black eyeliner that they didn't charge me for.

Oh dear perfumistas, sounds as if several of you are being put through the wringer at the moment. We, south and west of Cardiff, are forecast to get some snow on Wednesday and Thursday, but I shall believe it when it arrives. In the meantime, it's just sunny and very chilly, which I quite enjoy, as long as the winter clothing is carefully selected. Avignon was SoTD; it's an easy default with just enough sillage and longevity to seem like value.

I know two of you are waiting for stuff from me, and it will be despatched as soon as I have clean receptacles to decant into. The postie should struggle through the snowdrift any day now.

I think today we all deserve a slice of cake & a G&T!

It did start to snow ever so lightly when I popped to hospital to visit DF but stopped now.

SOTD is YSL Mon Paris - a gift off DH, not a scent that I would have chosen. Fruity floral and super girly, peach, then jasmine and pear are the dominant notes to me - great sillage. Fragrantica describes it as having a dark chypre base.

Still waiting for Snowmageddon in London. A few paltry flakes just now, but seems to have stopped. I haven’t decided on a SOTE...fancying something cosy and comforting...

Oh, and fell down a complete eBay rabbit hole today waiting for DD at one of her activities. I was glued to my phone for a good hour looking up perfumes from my past. I’ve bid on some random shit...Paco Rabanne XS Pour Elle, some ‘vintage’ JPG Classique, Champagne and Balenciaga Cristobal. If I win them all that’s my pay day treat and then some. Eek .

At work, no snow, very cold and sunny and in Pure Poison. I thought would be a good Snow Queen vibe for today with all the white florals and slightly cold, masculine edge. It’s coming off a bit soapy, though, and I wish I’d continued my Samsara from last night.

mrsG I do mine online, because it's been years since I last bought a FB, so atm I'm just buying samples.
I'm not aware of any perfume shops other than the Perfume Shop chain.

Hardly any snow here ❄️ just the tiniest bit. It is -4 though so I have a hot water bottle and a blanket mountain to hide under. No perfume but smelling of Lush Twilight shower gel and Sleepy lotion. Very warm scent.

Sadly, there's a largish stretch of water between South Wales and the Devon Cornwall peninsula, and I'm on the southern side of that, south of Dartmoor and north of Plymouth, Motoko, so not quite in the triangle. My perfume shopping is usually online samples, though the local HoF is okay for spraying, plus there's a Perfume Shop as well as Boots.

I think I like the suggestion of Chergui for today...

The phone is promising snow tomorrow/Thursday but it's beautiful today.
