SOTD Maison Francis Kurkdjian Oud Satin Mood

SOTD is Fancy by Jessica Simpson. So sweet its beyond even PM territory and in to some other stratosphere. You lot would probably hate it, but I woke up feeling so grumpy and this has cheered me up no end (that, and chips for lunch) .

Cheap – so very tempted by the MG Lemon, but I have far exceeded reached my monthly perfume allowance, sadly.

DH has arranged babysitter and is taking me out for dinner tonight to cheer me up, so will scrub off the Fancy and put on something more befitting dinner later.

Well, the classroom I was teaching in has dropped to 8 degrees so all afternoon sessions are cancelled. I taught a grand total of 5 out of my expected 16 students this morning in coat, gloves and scarf, bah humbug.

I've just bought 100mls of Plum EDP.

Less than £20 including postage though, c'mon!

Has anyone had any experience of Mugler Cologne? I’d never heard of it before but my sister found a bottle in the back of her wardrobe that she thinks she got as a freebie and has offered it to me. Don’t usually get on with Mugler but love a freebie .

Tried it in duty free last summer Sofancy - good, pretty classic smelling cologne (citrus on a gentle musk base). The prolific Alberto Morillas deserves a shout on our noses list. Realise I've worn a number of his things over the years including Colonia Intensa, the first Omnia and the original Isabella Rosselini Manifesto.

SOTD was Halston. Didn't quite hit the spot. Must rummage in my perfume box to see what else is lurking in there.

The Lion Cupboard and Parallel are both wearing very well. There's a slightly warm and powdery quality to TLC's dry-down that I hadn't noticed before. I had a quick sniff of a little vintage miniature of Courreges in Blue that arrived today - this also has a big lavender note with a similar herbal/aromatic quality.

whistles innocently if it makes you feel better I also succumbed and bought myself 9ml bottles of Ealing Green (love this), Amber Mambo, Outdoors Mrs Gloss, and Sleep Knot. Lets hope I like the 3 I haven't tried before or it's been an expensive snow day. But, hey, I can always swap with you lot if I don't like some of them .

It has the ‘hissy steam note’ that Sophia Grossman put in her creation for Malle - Outrageous .I love this 😊

MrsR - you might need to email 4160s and ask for a sample. I got 9mls last year.

I forgot that I'd asked for a sample of Sexiest Scent in today's order - it came! So I'm going to put it on now post-bath and report back.
