Wore my Burgundy Ivy today , with black leggings and boots , black and burgundy long scarf and Hultquist rose gold 'moon' necklace

Laska5772 · 27/03/2018 20:59

I didn't get a code either so I dont know when it expires . I just used the one posted here.. I think its a re-order code but my last thing ( Santana skirt only last week) didn't have a reorder code with it..

I did get all my refunds through in the end but they took about 10 days..

ilovecherries · 27/03/2018 21:13

I've got a big one (refund) outstanding but I probably don't expect to see it before the end of the week. It's all paypal money, and I'd really like it to re-spend!

Laska5772 · 27/03/2018 21:28

I usually pay on my CC as then it doesn't go out until item is sent, (I know there is paypal 'pay after now but haven't used it ) . It is taking longer about 10 days on average , whereas it used to be quicker i think.. Does it take longer than that on Pay pal to be refunded?

I think as Hush has got biggger they are actually not so good, as they were

Laska5772 · 27/03/2018 22:05

A possibly enabling link ....... Sadly not leather though..

Laska5772 · 27/03/2018 22:16

and boots..

ill go away now..

Greylilypad · 27/03/2018 22:47

Hello! First post on this thread...Does anyone know what the sizing is like on the Santana skirt please? I am generally an 8 in most shops.

Thebirthdayparty · 27/03/2018 23:25

I'm just after ordering the Santana skirt tonight! I really hope it is more 'rose' than 'peach' as I despise peach! I am a size 12 and ordered it in a 12 as I find Hush bottoms are generally true to size.

VetOnCall · 28/03/2018 01:24

I haven't ordered anything for ages but just had a look at the new stuff and have taken care of that Grin I've ordered the raglan t-shirt in French blue and baby blue, the Venice Beach dress in French blue, the blue ombre sweatshirt, the stripe boat neck jumper in granite green, the cosmic star jumper in grey and blue and the black peek a boo vest. The plan is not to keep all of it - the boat neck jumper looks very see through so may not be a keeper - but blue is my absolute favourite colour and the best one on me along with grey so most of it will probably end up staying!

On the raglans though, I'm a size 6-8 and have ordered xs but does anyone know if they still stretch/lose shape when washed?

Laska5772 · 28/03/2018 08:50

grey i have the darker Santana in a 12 , its a loose fit and has elasticated waist. I reckon you should go for the XS

Laska5772 · 28/03/2018 10:44

responding on another thread i see that John Lewis are selling the new Santana green skirt for £49 rather than £45! ..

ilovecherries · 28/03/2018 11:13

vet, I found the long sleeve raglan stretched out a fair bit round the neck - and it certainly didn't shrink anywhere. I had bought my actual size, wish I'd sized down.

VetOnCall · 28/03/2018 11:37

Thanks cherries, that's really annoying though. The raglan looks perfect for the kind of stuff I usually wear but most Hush tops are big on me as it is so if they stretched they would look baggy and shapeless. If you complained about it do you think they'd do a refund?

ilovecherries · 28/03/2018 12:57

I don't know, I've found them good with the odd thing I've complained about in the past, but I haven't done so with this.

DownHereInTheHorridHouse · 28/03/2018 13:55

I've had my first things through but am a bit disappointed - I got the Cara cropped knit jacket. I ordered a medium by accident (forgot to update when I changed it to large). I'm a hefty 14 just now, and it is absolutely massive on me. The main problem though is that it just seems a bit of an unpleasant blue - a bit garish. I'd like the very same jacket but more of a navy/denim. It's going back as I wouldn't even pick it up in a charity shop.

I also got the grey and blue star jumper - that just doesn't suit. I think it is for slimmer people so that it hangs better, as my norks just make it look dowdy. It's not something I'd look forward to wearing, so definitely not worth the money.

I ordered the Paloma in navy but they then emailed to say it was out of stock now, and I might get it, I might not - so, am just waiting to see on that one.

Thebirthdayparty · 28/03/2018 15:28

Downhere I have an old star jumper and I feel exactly the same - dowdy. I never wear it and wish I hadn’t bought it. The Paloma is great though. I have it in black and navy. It has a loose hemline so it doesn’t emphasise my stomach and hips. The v neck is better on my large bust too. Keep an eye on the website for returns. I recently ordered a skirt that was previously out of stock. I’m guessing it was a return.

DownHereInTheHorridHouse · 28/03/2018 16:16

I think I just have a very unfashionable shape, Thebirthdayparty! Things don't hang properly, they just get stuck on my front and then look frumpy. I'm hoping I get my Paloma navy - is there anything else you would suggest that has worked for you?

ilovecherries · 28/03/2018 16:22

I have the reversible star in hibiscus and I like that, but have had various stellas back and forth to hush, and always end up thinking they don’t do much for me. If I get them big enough to be slouchy they drag me down, if fitted the arms of the stars just seem to grab onto my boobs.

So my green things arrived today. I have never wore bright green in my life (and a HoC person would tell me it’s not in my summer options. But I think I might like it - but only when I’m wearing my red hair. With my ashier hair it’s swamping me. So basically - still not sure if I should keep or not - it’s probanly sitting outside my ‘everything must mix and match’ dictat - what does one actually wear with bright green other than navy or grey? Style me!

ilovecherries · 28/03/2018 16:26

Oh, and also - I was looking at denim jackets today. Just cheap Next ones, not Hush. Can I wear them with a summer dress and trainers or will I look ridiculous? They seem such a versatile throw on item when it’s too cool for bare arms. Such a shopping virgin!

ilovecherries · 28/03/2018 16:30

But a fast learner GrinBlush

miffy2 · 28/03/2018 16:50

cherries I would give a denim jacket a big thumbs up. I love my faded Hush one from last summer and have it freshly washed for my trip to Malaga tomorrow :) I love it over dresses and midi skirts and casual trousers (I don’t do double denim though!)

Laska5772 · 28/03/2018 16:52

Like this cherries?. Next sz 14 bought about 3 yrs ago and worn once only i reckon. You can have it if you pm me your address

Hush..Its the new collection S/S18 and we are still loving it!!
ilovecherries · 28/03/2018 16:53

Oh, do you think faded rather than dark then?

DownHereInTheHorridHouse · 28/03/2018 16:53

cherries - I got one for £28 in Next at the weekend, dark denim, and it has taken a stone off, so I love it very much!
