What trends would you like to see die a death in 2018?

For me:

Frills on tops
Big, stupid sleeves

'Dipped hem' tops. I think that's what they're called? Where the back of the top is longer than the front. I don't think they look good on anyone, but especially if you have a curvy bum. I look and feel like I'm wearing a nappy!

Big rectangular brown eyebrows.

Ankle-swinger trousers with non-visible/non-existent socks. In the depths of winter..... WTAF??!

Harem trousers

Not smiling in photos.

Weird pleated skirts that some instagrammers wear. If it wasn't for the billion accessories and the sweatshirt with something pithy written on it, those skirts could have been nicked from my Auntie Sandra.

Basically hope 2018 sees a return to normal sleeves! No excess material and no cut-outs anywhere.

Cold shoulder tops. Don't mind some frills and think wide legged crops can look fabulous (but I've not tried them myself yet) but I never think cold shoulder tops look anything othe than daft even on the young thin, and gorgeous.

And brogues are fucking awesome.

Crop tops. It's probably my fault for still shopping in Top Shop. You think you've found a nice top then you examine it and it's half a top.

Huge black eyebrows that look like they were drawn on with a Sharpie. I saw a woman the other day, no make up on, just these bizarre black stripes on her forehead, against her very pale English winter skin. Really not a good look.
