What trends would you like to see die a death in 2018?

For me:

Frills on tops
Big, stupid sleeves

'Dipped hem' tops. I think that's what they're called? Where the back of the top is longer than the front. I don't think they look good on anyone, but especially if you have a curvy bum. I look and feel like I'm wearing a nappy!

Those strange cap sleeves are just weird.

One for the men - skinny jogging trousers, especially the ones with a low crotch. Ugh.

I'd like to see the end of Cold Shoulder tops too.
Unless one has a vaccination scar that you are particularly proud of, I just don't see the point of them.

Hair extensions
Michael Kors bags
Chokers
Birkenstocks
Breton tops with jeans
Saltwater sandals
Random slogans on t shirts
Brown leather anything

The cold shoulder “top”.
Ripped jeans - such stupidity.
Skinny jeans on men especially.

Mid length skirts. (No, they don’t suit you. They don’t suit anyone.)

Cold shoulder tops.
High necklines
Clothes with no waist at all.
Random frills that do nothing for the wearer.

Definitely sleeves that trail in your soup. They appear to be getting replaced by endless tassels like a 1980s sofa, mind.

You'll not get my skinny jeans off me, mind. Quite literally, for some of the pairs I have. Legs too short and stumpy for anything wide.

Pointy nails - hideous, hideous.

Ditto Sharpie brows.

Skinny jeans esp with cuts in the knees

Adidas clothing on teens

Beige lips

Ankle boots with skirts and dresses!

Porn star makeup, lip injections and killer heels.

Yet again...

Cold shoulder tops. And any items of clothing with random bits cut out!

The Eyebrow abomination. And the whole contoured, high-maintenance look. Bring back grunge!

Also... floral maxi dresses - so unflattering.

Band, especially metal t-shirts on people who own no albums by said band.

Embroidery... particularly velvet boots with said embroidery on them. In fact all boots/shoes that are not made of proper boot/shoe material.

Vans - especially the black ones all the teens and twenty-somethings are wearing. They are ugly, no? Converse may not be cool but they are a much nicer design.

Beards.

Contouring and marker pen eyebrows

Frills on everything, flared sleeves, and wide cropped trousers. Especially the unhemmed ones.
Actually, I don't mind the trousers so much, think they look silly but I don't have to wear them.
But I do object to not being able to buy plain tops and jumpers without trailing bits.
And as for flared sleeves,are they made for people with staff? Because you can't actually do anything other than pose in them!

Ooh I do love a bit of rose gold and millenial pink but I’ve always been drawn to what my DH describes as ‘dull dirty pinks’ no idea why

Cold shoulder ..... fed up of finding what looks like a great top/dress , only to find someones taken chunks out of it .

Wearing hair rollers in public.

-Any kind of ankle swingers
-Those bizarre square (usually adidas) man bag things that guys wear on their chests
-Crop tops
-Dungarees
-One fingernail painted a completely different colour/pattern to the other 4 on the same hand. WHY?!

But if we can wear knee high boots ( tucked into jeans is v normal and fashionable around people my age - early 20s) or ballet flats ... do you want us all in brogues and heels?

Hareem pants, it’s not cool, tartan shirts 🙄 crop tops when not at a club and shorts which show all of your arse.

Anything chiffon

Big fake drawn on bushy man eye brows on women, and contour makeup. Can't tell a female from a transgender, maybe that's the point? Let us all look similar then no body can tell the difference?looks ridiculous, after two tons of makeup and after a good wash, two different people
