Question: if you are over 35, would you wear a bikini like this?

Dh has given me this itsy bitsy bikini. and expects me to wear it in public (when we go on holiday). I am wondering whether I can pluck up the courage.

Dh seems to have overlooked the fact that I am not a tanned 21-year-old Australian model with a Brazilian wax: I am actually a pale-skinned 36-year old and only 5ft 2, with a Caesarean scar. Size 8/10 but nevertheless have a few wobbly bits.

I am very flattered that dh thinks I look good in it, but it is ridiculously skimpy.

So, what would you do? Should I just get into the holiday spirit, wear it and flaunt it, or will I look ridiculous?

(Dds are 2 and 4 so I won't exactly be lounging by the pool on this holiday; I'll be chasing round after them.)

Swimming costume is like a vest and knickers joined...

I find it too much of a pain to get a swimming costume as I'm short & they tend to be far too low cut or baggy so a bikini is easier!

I'm scared after tonight's MN that I'm going to start getting all sorts of dodgy stuff coming into my email, having clicked onto that bikini site, then another one on another thread about 'felching' (if you don't know you don't need to know, trust me).

I really think the OP should wear the bikini in the room for her DH though, I don't think that's pervy.

I would NOT wear that bikini and I'm younger than 35. I wouldn't wear it no-matter how young and fit I was.

i would wear it if it wasn't a thong! i wouild never wear a thong in public no matter what age.

Am a very easy going gal but some of those outfits make me feel really angry actually.
Since when was it sexy or liberating to reveal your genitalia?
it is sooo a man's idea of what women should wear.

Makes me start thinking that a veil might be the way to go....

Get a bottle of Dove with self tan if your worried about the white bits.

I DO wear bikinis but those are truly HIDEOUS! I wear nice respectable big-norked ones like those from Bravissimo etc. Think G strings are yeuch, even in the bedroom

take it with you. hire a nanny for 8-12 hrs. book a honeymoon daytrip type thing to a cove. get dropped off with a picnic. arrange to be picked up later. wear it for him and shag each other's brains out.

Why would you need a whole building to make the bottoms? Unless it's a dental floss factory at night or something.

Those models are porn models - at 5'4" Natasha is too short for fashion and too flat for glamour - this is probably the only gig she could get.

Interesting thread. I think they look good. Obviously it depends what type of body they're on. That's the key issue.

Has no one been on nudist beaches?

apart from the fact it is far too small, it is also a vile colour and design. Strictly for chavs IMO.
