curragh the pink Bioderma one was the first micellar water I ever used & is still one of my favourites but I am actually really liking the Simple one I have on the go at the moment.

I have given the Moroccan hair oil that was in one of the advents to my SIL as it contains cyclomethicone- which is another nasty for fertility. I am very sad about this as I really want to try it but needs must.

I hope you are all having a great weekend.

Samples count right?

I've used a maybelline baby skin micro blur under foundation instead of my primer today (16) seems fine, feels nice, bit oily if anything. Will see how it lasts the day

CantChoose · 26/11/2017 19:10

Are you on no advent now kwick?? Shock I assume youve got another to start on Friday?

I finished a full size rituals cherry blossom sugar scrub today. Well I say full size, it had about an inch of false bottom so I felt a bit short changed Hmm it was very rough and left a horrible residue. I wouldn't repurchase. I think I've come to the conclusion that's it's not a very high quality brand but with ideas above it's station with its packaging! Maybe I've just been unlucky with the products I've had but I've not really liked any of them.

Does anyone have any suggestions of a good laptop for about £300 for dd13?

My mums given her money and that's what she wants, for homework, YouTube and probably Pokemon purposes. Needs to last 2/3 years as will get her a MacBook around 15/16 because we did with her sister but she wouldn't take proper care of it yet.

I'm a bit out of touch with windows laptops.

I know it was the wrong thread, RJ but these are very decent laptops, and have more than enough spec for your DD's requirements.....
😁

RJnomore1 · 26/11/2017 23:03

Thank you stripey!

kwick · 27/11/2017 07:52

Great knock 😁

So far this morning I've finished clarins way de jardins mini shower gel abs body lotion (17,18) which are nice but I didn't love them for the price, plus im about to use a L'Oréal magic blur sample as today's primer. Yesterday's didn't last btw not recommended.

So in 10 minutes I should be at 19.

Shop · 27/11/2017 11:46

Finished DHC Cleansing oil last night, love this, have 2 more in my stash but going to try the Bravura cleansing oil next. Finished the liz Earle skin repair dry/sensitive this morning too. Have more of the normal/combination one in my stash but will try and use up some travel sizes of night creams first I think.
I'm up to 5 now 😊 Need to make room for the buying frenzy I ended up in over the weekend 😩

Baileystruffle · 27/11/2017 16:50

Today I finished number 3 of my Christmas 12 (very slow going). Was a 21st century herb balm that I got in pink parcel. Honestly I hated the smell and was trying to use it up to get rid of it. Have started to realise that I only like very strong smelling things if they are flowery/perfumy.

kwick · 28/11/2017 07:35

I have two empties from my 25 by Christmas list:

  • The Body Shop almond milk and honey shower cream: love the smell
  • The Bomb Cosmetics honey mask: thank God this is now used up. Does not do much for my hair and I do not like the smell.

Oh and I have started to compile a 14 by Valentines list.

This thread is really keeping me focused, particularly on my skin care regime.

Finished a pack of nip and fab glycolic fix pads last night. Really good. Bought the dragons blood ones to try now.

Also used a sachet of agent provocateur sauce body glamour without realising it was sparkly so I'm going to work all shimmery today!

Baileystruffle · 28/11/2017 09:14

I have finished number 4 of my Christmas 12- a l'occitane cleansing oil. This was nice but I found I needed to use more of it than the tiny bits that sprayed out the bottle! Too expensive for regular use- it came from my l'occitane advent calendar from last year.

mowglik · 28/11/2017 12:35

Hi all not been on here for a while but quietly chugging away on 25 for Xmas. So far am up to 15, doubt I will finish loads more by Xmas but still a good effort I think!

The last 5:
Paula’s choice 2% BHA sample
Philip B lovin it leave in conditioner trial size
Eyeko trial size eyeliner
L’occitane milk soap
Paula’s Choice cleanser samples

Love Eyeko this one was from last years M&S calendar, will get the full size of this one or kat Von D tattoo - both are great!

I am starting this years M&S advent calendar on Friday, can’t wait! Equally ds (4) is waiting with bated breath to start his paw patrol calendar so Friday is a big day for us Grin

woodhill · 28/11/2017 18:05

Hi, just caught up again.

I've lost track but have used up loads of products.

I have succumbed to a Clarins offer and M&S advent calendar ready

kwick · 28/11/2017 18:35

I agree mow roll on Friday!!!!

chloechloe · 28/11/2017 22:23

Just checking back in again! Haven't had any empties for a while but I'm hoping to get through a few more this week. I was hoping for a double 25 for Xmas but not sure I'll manage so I'll go for 25+12!

kwick · 29/11/2017 07:40

I have an empty!!!

  • DHC deep cleansing oil: I really liked this however not more than the No7 one or Body Shop one and I think they are cheaper

RJnomore1 · 29/11/2017 08:09

I have bottle of that tucked away for future use kwick. Can see a few empties coming along here. Which means I get to use other stuff which is very exciting.

RJnomore1 · 29/11/2017 08:31

This one sneaked up on me!

Full size balanceme instant lift primer. If used for a while then put away so when I got it out last week I obviously thought there was more in it that there is.

Feels nice, slightly too greasy for me but I'd recommend if you have drier skin.

RJnomore1 · 29/11/2017 08:33

Sorry - that's 22.

Strawberryfield12 · 29/11/2017 08:50

Have used Aurelia natural deodorant, not on my list but still delighted (I sound like those people talking about the royal wedding here!). Despite so many people saying it was the only natural deodorant that really works, it didn't on me and it is ridiculously expensive. With the same I am throwing out PitRok natural deodorant stick. PitRok roll-on seemed to work fairly well, so bought the stick next, but this one just isn't working at all. Saw somebody saying on Amazon it lasted for over 2 years of daily use. No way I am subjecting myself and people around to smellyness for that amount of time! So my house is natural deodorant free now.

Have two empties from the list as well:
-Dermalogica daily exfoliator. Actually there was something left in there, but it was making my skin dry and I didn't like much the product anyway.
-Lavender bath and massage oil. It was rubbish for bath because it left a sticky residue everywhere.

suchatiredbunny · 29/11/2017 09:30

Just hit my 25! Not sure where I left it here but in the last week or so I have finished
Simple Eye Make Up Remover (love this but want a cruelty free alternative)
LE Cleanse And Polish 50ml (a staple)
Khiels Avocado Eye Cream (nice enough but not sure it's worth the price)
Green People deodorant (to use up, bought for DS but he needs something more hard core!)
Wilko sensitive Face Scrub (ok but need to only buy microbead free ones now)
3 x EL night repair sachets (not sure it's worth the cost of a full price bottle)
Neals Yard travel size rose face wash (I liked this, would buy a full size).

So that's my 25 for Xmas! I can see a bit of a difference in the number of lotions and potions floating round the bathroom and stash drawer so that's progress. Not sure what my next challenge is, will ponder and come back. Hope everyone is ok in this chilly weather, my nails and skin aren't very happy with the onset of winter (and central heating!). I've had a monster cystic acne lump on my forehead, so much so I'm havIng a fringe cut back in this afternoon! Grin
