I've done some sorting out today and threw away 😲 A shampoo & conditioner I'd got on a beauty box. I never throw anything away until it's finished but it was terrible for my hair, felt much better afterwards.
It's odd how the less I have the less I want to buy. I was getting done real urges to buy - for the sake of buying really but a bit of a sort out and I got over it 😂
I've also finished my first 10 I hope to empty:

  1. DHC Cleansing oil
  2. Ormorovica queen of Hungary mist
  3. Liz Earle skin repair dry/sensitive
  4. Superdrug vitamin e Serum
  5. Lancôme Hypnose mascara sample
  6. Victoria secret body spray
  7. Mudmasky face mask 20ml size
  8. Alpha h pore refining mask -30ml
  9. Nivea eye makeup remover
10. Peaches & clean Cleanser

10 - clarins all in one water comfort cleanser

I really really liked this. Smells amazing, would definitely buy it again.

I have more cleansers to use up first though!

loveablether · 18/11/2017 23:53

Totally jumped on this thread to ask - toche eclat - anyone else found they’ve had an allergic reaction?

RJnomore1 · 18/11/2017 23:54

No!

kwick · 19/11/2017 08:17

Welcome love and shop!

I have an empty:

  • Tesco Aloe moisturising face cream (sCosmetics): not bad for £2!!!! Great for a lightweight day cream. Am moving on to The Ordinary stash!!!!!

loveablether my skin never ever reacts to anything but Touche Eclat gave me an excema like breakout!

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 19/11/2017 16:56

Love that night cream moogle.
My eyes water like crazy with touche eclait love. Can use on cheeks but not under eyes.

Finally finished the Tilbury eyeliner from Halloween and binned 2 others that did not stay put. Unforgivable so bin!

RJnomore1 · 19/11/2017 19:24

I've got an 11 but it feels a bit of a cheat. It's an Avon Argan oil leave in treatment one use sample. It's fine, nothing to write home about but I'd use it again as it wasn't too heavy.

curragh · 19/11/2017 20:34

Yes, touche elcat gave me an eczema-like rash under my eyes too!

loveablether · 19/11/2017 20:44

I’ve used it twice and my eye bag area because bumpy, red eyes (not all wine surely!) and watery as hell. I’ve only used it twice too! Grrr

kwick · 20/11/2017 05:43

Hmmm all this talk of Touche Eclat (which I have not used in years) allergies I wonder if my cheapy concealer is what is causing a dry patch near my lips? Confused although I think the little spots were there before I started applying concealer...

Loveablether if you still have the receipt you can return it for a refund if you have had an adverse reaction.

CantChoose · 20/11/2017 07:23

Just popping on to saw good luck for today kwik - hope I’ve got the right day!!

kwick · 20/11/2017 11:53

You have cant!!! Thank you so much!!! I am leaving in 10 minutes for the clinic!

I have an empty:

  • Dermo deoderant stick: cheap as chips and lasted all summer!!!

Did a bit of a haul earlier 😬 but I did not want to miss my chance to get some Spanish stuff!!!!

chloechloe · 20/11/2017 12:16

Good luck kwick!!!! I have everything crossed for you that this is the one!

curragh · 20/11/2017 17:05

GOOD LUCK kwick!!!!

Empty No 68. La Petit Marseillaise conditioner. Silicone free, very nice

I bought the M&S advent calendar...I opened it this morning. The plan is to use as many of the products as possible before Xmas. I'm going to use the boxes for DSs...filled with playmobil and chocolate coins

No spoilers but I felt there is a LOT of facial skincare products, would have preferred more haircare. Still v happy though, can't wait to try a few products!

kwick · 20/11/2017 17:32

Thanks ladies! All good and I am now PUPO!!!

curragh um you mean you opened it all at once????? 😱😱😱😱

Everything crossed for you @kwick

Moogletea · 20/11/2017 18:48

@curragh I’m resisting the urge to do the same. Can’t wait for the 1st December when I can start opening Smile

curragh · 20/11/2017 19:25

Yes, kwick. I did it for the kids I literally have no self control Grin

Strawberryfield12 · 20/11/2017 22:02

Good luck kwick!

I have used up 3 full size body shop products at the same time! The face cleansing oil, the summer fig shower gel and body lotion. Got the body shop cleansing balm out of stash and I really like it! Now... for the body lotion replacement decided to go with Avon vanilla and spice one, which I was given as a present 2 years ago. That stuff is far too sweet for me and it has glitter in it as well, so will be using it from waist downwards. Shimmery bum for Christmas season, yay! On the top it’s Jo Loves Pomelo body lotion and perfume. Ahhh.... really like it.

Still have 9 items on my Christmas list left.
Struggling with Dermalogica exfoliater. Why is it so popular?! There’s nothing in it for me. It doesn’t smell nice, it doesn’t feel nice on the skin, reminds sloshing flour on face. And if I am not particularly careful removing it, there will always be some dried up bits of it in my eyebrows.

CantChoose · 20/11/2017 23:08

Fingers tightly crossed for you kwick!

I was on a bit of a roll this morning and used 2 of my 25: the sanctuary scrub - left a residue so I wouldn’t repurchase (I really miss the old formula body shop Brazil nut scrub, it was a perfect level of abraisiveness and didn’t leave me feeling like I’ve been coated in wax!). Also used the ‘happy naturals’ shower gel - wouldn’t repurchase. IMO it was neither happy nor natural.
14 left...

Hi kwick how did you get on? All good positive vibes your way!

Used up a LRP moisturiser, 2 random sachets of face cream and binned 2 eye drops (counts right?). Also binned a L'Oréal root concealer. Terrible product that left horrible residue.

Might have a full Sephora basket. Eek. I know they will slam me for tax if I order from America but such exciting looking things!

CantChoose · 21/11/2017 06:25

I really need to bin some eye drops Another, thanks for the reminder! I try to keep them for no longer than a year but some are so old the date has worn off - probably a safe bet that they are more than a year old :/
Do they have the same stuff on Sephora.fr? No tax then I think!

kwick · 21/11/2017 07:16

Great job strawberry!
I quite liked the Dermalogica exfoliator but I did rather think I could get the same result using bicarb of soda Grin I have not tried yet as I still have some exfoliators in my stash but will one day!

You are doing so well cant!!!

doing it for the kids 😂😂😂😂😂😂 curragh!!!!

thanks another and all you lovely ladies for wishing me good luck! I am flying back today with precious cargo!!!

I have 3 emptied this morning which us a good thing as I have NO idea how I am going to fit everything into my case!!!!

  • Aussie 3 minute miracle lucious long deep treatment: easy to use and I like the smell and leaves hair soft but still frizzy kwick laments that ever after 43 years she still has not found the secret to having lucious locks 😩
  • The Ordinary Buffet serum: umm not sure what this did if I am honest and I did SO want to fall in love with all their products. I have about 4 more to try so there is still hope!
  • Foreo day cleanser: came in an advent last year with a Foreo. Ok but I think you can use the Foreo with any cream cleanser.

Happy Tuesday everyone!!!
