Just caught up, good work everyone!
Sending lots and lots of luck to you for the embryo transfer Kwik I will keep my fingers crossed.

I’ve finished the Lancôme miracle perfume (ok but not something I’d purchase) on my 24 list. I’ve done most of the easy ones now, the rest are a little more ambitious and I’m not sure they’ll be done it time but I’ll plough on!

I have two empties - protect and perfect handcream and moisturiser. I've also bought an M&S advent calendar though. I'm justifying it to myself as a way of trying out new products without splashing out on a full size bottle of something I may not like.

RJnomore1 · 12/11/2017 12:26

My amazon beauty box arrived today Blush

Half is for my dad stockings though.

RJnomore1 · 12/11/2017 13:36

Dad? Dd!

Ok that's the coconut body butter done, so I'm on 4. I've got a bottle of radix shower gel I bought to go camping but don't really like (doesn't smell of much) which I'm using and it should be done in next few days. I've also got out a chanel body lotion mini which I'll use up with it.

Dh seems to have loads of mini shower gels (Milton brown, arranaromatics type) so I've put them in the shower and he's instructed to use them up first before he touches the big bottles.

I'm on a mission here!

chloechloe · 12/11/2017 13:43

I was a bit Hmm at it being for your dad's stocking RJ! Good you're getting you DH on board. I have an Oskia face scrub that I'm not too keen on but I've palmed it off on DH who seems to like it. Plus rather than using a small amount like you're supposed to he bulldozes o to it so hopefully that'll be gone soon!

CantChoose · 12/11/2017 13:47

Having a clear out with DH as we are putting our house in the market and found eleventy billion perfume miniatures and several full sized ones. A new, unwrapped hypnose that I might eBay. And loads of hand cream. I’m so ashamed Blush
I had set a target to finish all my miniatures before we move but I think that might be ambitious now!!

kwick · 12/11/2017 17:55

Thanks cant 😘

You are doing so well rj!!!

Oh dear cant Sad any Stella perfume in there?

Everything taking aaaages to use - one small shower gel used up at last.

No advent calendars here though, I am getting rid, not bringing in.

I may have to throw away the mini body lotions, I just never use them and have about 6.

usernameinfinito · 12/11/2017 20:29

Best wishes kwick thinking of you Flowers

I have got an m&s calendar. I have had a difficult year and I feel I deserve some treats too.

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 12/11/2017 20:30

Good work team. badgers I think you tempted me by rituals calendar last year and it really was wonderful. I have the last dregs of handcream to use up so calendar lasted me all year!
Also finished a hand cream from 2016 m&s calendar this am! I had a bit of a successful shower this am; glossier sample, lush shower gel, shampoo sachet and perfume! Phew! Oh yeah and toothpaste if that counts!
Working on avoiding advent calendars. Will see how that goes!

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 12/11/2017 20:32

Oh yes and good luck vibes kwick.

user yes advent calendar cheered me last year during son's illness and awful commute. Enjoy.

usernameinfinito · 12/11/2017 20:35

Thank you pinkie Flowers

Strawberryfield12 · 12/11/2017 21:19

Have everything crossed for you kwick Flowers

chloechloe · 12/11/2017 22:10

Good luck for this week kwick I have everything crossed for you!

kwick · 13/11/2017 07:31

Thanks everyone!!! I need it!!! Lining scan tomorrow and then if all well FET next Monday. 😘

Well done another!!

I have an empty:

  • Nivea in-shower moisturiser: I 💓 this! The smell, the ease, my soft skin after use. None in my stash but I am waiting for Spanish haul next week.

chloechloe · 13/11/2017 08:47

In shower moisturiser? Never tried it but I'm tempted!

I'm up to 24: Melvita orange flower water sample. Quite nice but I feel toner is a bit of an unnecessary step, especially given the amount of time I spend in the bathroom already!

Im going to try and do a double 25 for Xmas to make way for all the beauty calendars.

RJnomore1 · 13/11/2017 08:51

5: botega Veneta perfume mini finished this morning.

I liked it but didn't love it, then again most perfumes smell terrible on me .

kwick · 13/11/2017 18:36

chloe I 💓 in-shower moisturisers - really save time and are especially helpful in the winter months when it is too cold to be applying Cream elsewhere!!! The Nivea one is my fav - I have tried others including Lactovit and Superdrug Vitamin E.

Kwick good luck tomorrow & next week.

Ipokebadgers what a crap time of the year to be laid off. Hope you're doing ok

Good day here, 3 empties
65. Nuxe orange flower body lotion. Loved the scent, will definitely repurchase as a treat if I ever get through the stash of body cream!
66. Clarins eau dynamisante soap -small hotel size bar
67. No 7 stay perfect mascara. Was recommended on MN but I didn't get on with it. Lashes weren't defined or lengthened and it flaked off. Not totally empty but life's too short...

IPokeBadgers · 13/11/2017 20:14

Kwick - best of luck, everything crossed for you!
Pinkie - I still have a few bits from last year's Rituals calendar but still looking forward to the new one. 😊
Curragh - thanks. Things not too good in our house at the minute....I have had my own job issues but had hoped that hubby's situation was stable. Now both of us are looking for new jobs!

kwick · 13/11/2017 20:47

@IPokeBadgers I am SO sorry - I completely missed your job woes. I hope you both find your dream jobs soon. Good news is that there is high demand for talent right now.

Flowers badgers hope you find something soon.
Binned 2 rubbish eyeliners. No space for those that don't last! Counting as finished too!

kwick · 14/11/2017 06:57

I am chucking the Body Shop WonderBlur - has not worked with two foundations and I am sick of the crap results 🤬

kwick · 14/11/2017 12:19

I was VERY naughty earlier and got the Real Techniques brush set for £20 - at least it was on Boots points!

6- unexpectedly finished a clarins primer. Don't know if I would buy again - I liked the way it feels but not sure if it looks better.

Onto a DHC velvet skin coat primer now.
