Thoughts?

I know a lot of people think hush is overpriced tat, but this thread is for those of us that still buy the odd thing.

I've had a brief look & like the look of the Christie coat & Cassie dress. Last year I got a dress in the same style of this years clover dress, which I love.

However, the prints this year are awful.

I finally got my money back!

neveradullmoment99 · 13/10/2017 16:45

Thats good :)

Intomyarms · 13/10/2017 17:31

It isn't meant to be s dress though?

I'm short but there is no way I'd wear it as a dress. When I meant it was long, it comes to mid thigh maybe.

neveradullmoment99 · 13/10/2017 17:53

No its not meant to be a dress but some tops can be long and could be worn as dresses.
Mid thigh is ok :) Could you wear with leggings and ankle boots?

neveradullmoment99 · 13/10/2017 17:55

I have the Ivy dress and it is short on me. Some people wear as a dress and I have it on as a dress today with thick tights but tbh, it is a little short. I had my green one on yesterday and wore it with leggings and ankle boots and it looked much better.

neveradullmoment99 · 13/10/2017 17:55

i wear it with flat ankle boots.

Grounddown17 · 13/10/2017 21:00

I finally got the wide jersey top in black and grey. It's pretty underwhelming but could be useful. I think it looks better on the model with her very skinny legs 😂

I am returning the black but may keep the grey. I actually had the exact same top from H&M a few years back!

neveradullmoment99 · 13/10/2017 22:17

I think it looks better on the model with her very skinny legs 😂

I agree. A useful top but it isnt anything special.

43andcounting · 13/10/2017 22:32

I really like the style of the Atlas wrap shirt, especially the 'gathered' bit at the front. But the burgundy is such a meh colour for me. Has anyone seen a similar style in a brighter colour. Red? Or green maybe?

Intomyarms · 14/10/2017 02:18

Yes . & Other Stories have a green wrap shirt. It is very nice.

I agree the jersey top isn't special but to be honest I have bought quite a few Hush garments over the last three years and even the ones I thought were 'special' initially are not really special at all and for the main, they can all be bought for much less elsewhere.

43andcounting · 14/10/2017 08:00

Thanks into I have ordered the &stories wrap top to try.

GoGoGazelle · 14/10/2017 10:43

The amour tee arrived and is so thin it's almost threadbare! better quality in H&M (and £30 cheaper!)

neveradullmoment99 · 14/10/2017 11:16

and i also found a dress so similar to the hush one in next!!!

Next dropped waist dress

neveradullmoment99 · 14/10/2017 11:17

It is a fraction of the price. £26

Bloomed · 14/10/2017 11:30

The next dress is nice. What's the fabric like?

neveradullmoment99 · 14/10/2017 11:43

I haven't bought it but it says its 100% polyester so its not the same material as the hush one is viscose. However i have noticed that items made of polyester are way nicer than they were when i was a child and a lot more fluid than the static type from years ago. Its worth a try!

miffy2 · 14/10/2017 16:37

I for one am living in my wide jersey tops :) Nothing special yet very special IYKWIM. Sometimes the plainest of items prove the most useful.

I have noticed 'concertina' style patterns in the arms of my grey top but they don't annoy me; I would be annoyed if they were on the body of the top though.

Still waiting for the size 14 Gardenia along with the Atlas wrap top in the green/black print. Royal Mail have screwed up their tracking so I can't see where my packages are :(

FizzPopping · 15/10/2017 06:41

miffy2 the same thing happened with my tracking on my last order (Hush said it might not have been processed properly when it left them) and it took a week from the dispatch email until it arrived. How long has yours been?

I've ordered the black Fearne dress from the sale which I'm hoping could be a handy basic dress and also the Clover dress in burgundy print after mulling it over for a while. Was swayed by it getting a positive mention here and also ruling out the Felix as too short for me.

I love the brick colour and shape of the cashmere boyfriend jumper but it's so expensive - has anyone seen or ordered it? What is their cashmere like?

Have also had a code to give £10 off first order, pm if anyone is interested.

neveradullmoment99 · 15/10/2017 12:26

I have the cashmere jumper from last year in a beautiful red. The cashmere is beautiful. I love the shape of it. I tend not to wash cashmere much. Have washed once and it's still beautiful.

RhiannonOHara · 15/10/2017 14:16

Ordered the Morgan joggers in zebra and leopard, S and XS. Leopard fit really nicely overall, and I love them, but are too short in the leg, so have to go back. Sad Zebra are too big and baggy round the hips and STILL a bit too short! I'm 5' 10" and a size 8-ish, for reference, so if you're like me and have longish legs and are slim then Hush trousers might not suit you. Oddly though the harems are fine length-wise on me.

chloechloe · 15/10/2017 18:46

I've just had an email with the new PJ range and have decided I need a new pair of PJs! I have the jersey nightie which I love and they now do a striped PJ version, hooray! Am not in the UK so have to pay for delivery so should probably throw a few more items in my basket!

ilovecherries · 15/10/2017 20:24

I have that Next dress - it was a bit of a desperate purchase when I shrunk out of all my clothes but was still feeling edgy about wearing anything fitted. It's ok for the price actually - although I did have to size up. Most of my Hush things are a medium, and I have a couple of 14s from Mint Velvet and Whistles, but I needed an 18 in that dress to accommodate the boobs - although I've always found Next pretty bad with boob space. Because it's polyester is a bit stiff and not quite as drapey as I'd like. On the plus side, whip it out of the machine as soon as it stops, stick it straight on a hanger and put it back on in the morning without ironing. I thought it's an absolutely fine throw-on dress for the price.

Mustbesilverlining · 15/10/2017 20:54

Evening,

Does anyone have a code please? Am hoping to order the Cassie dress. Thank you 😊

Bloomed · 15/10/2017 21:08

Rhiannon do you think you could dress up the joggers for a night out? Or are they more daytime only?

FizzPopping · 15/10/2017 21:15

@Mustbesilverlining I've got a code for £10 off, will PM you
