Thoughts?

I know a lot of people think hush is overpriced tat, but this thread is for those of us that still buy the odd thing.

I've had a brief look & like the look of the Christie coat & Cassie dress. Last year I got a dress in the same style of this years clover dress, which I love.

However, the prints this year are awful.

Im converted with the wide jersey top now wildrose even though I thought it was expensive.. I reckon I'll wear it lots. ..

I see the grey is sold out.. Think ill email Hush and see if they are plannng to get any more.. Its so early in the season Im hoping they might..

Nearlyadoctor · 23/09/2017 19:05

Theycalledmethewildrose I'm totally with you on the immediate wearing of an item of clothing. I'm awful at ' keeping things for best' and then not getting around to wearing them. I have decided to keep both my wide jersey tops as I wore the black one twice this week and am now planning on wearing the grey tomorrow.
I have the Rosie dress from 2 years ago still in my wardrobe not worn - I don't really know why, must make an effort to wear it!

Laska5772 · 26/09/2017 09:23

Just bagged a grey wide jersey top on return.. so pleased..
they have new stuff in.. I love the stripey boyfriend jumper.. (in fact quite a few of the jumpers) , but dont need any jumpers ! and the ones i like are are the expensive ones .

The jersey crossover skirt is also nice but its not for me ..I think it would be good for work ..

MumBod · 26/09/2017 13:08

uh-oh...

Nearlyadoctor · 26/09/2017 13:11

My sentiments exactly!

miffy2 · 26/09/2017 18:54

I really did not need to read that message this morning lol.

In to the site I went of course as I am a weak sheep. I am returning the star biker sweatshirt as it is just too heavy for me and I have a bit of credit with Hush. As luck would have it there was a random returned Sabrina cardigan with my name al over it...so I jumped on that along with the new turned-up jeans and the stripe sweater.

I am going to have to ban myself from looking here and at Hush until Christmas/New Year/sale time

Laska5772 · 26/09/2017 19:51

You've bought the stripe sweater Miffy? Envy .. I want.. but I have to be good

miffy2 · 26/09/2017 20:32

Laska I was being good, for about 5 minutes. I know no shame.

On the upside I will be good from now on,.....haven't a choice!

Laska5772 · 26/09/2017 20:39

miffy I know, nor me it seems !! You see, I might have just ordered it to look at....Blush but I cant really justify it

Luckily theres nothing much else i like ( apart from the stripy PJs that is.. but I definately am not buying PJs .. )

3 times! (no just once.. ) dont know what happenned there..

QueenoftheAndals · 26/09/2017 20:43

Has anyone got the Love jumper? What's the fit like? I have my eye on the dark grey one with red writing but will probably wait til the sales to get it.

Am rather chuffed atm as I picked up a good as new Hush scatter star jumper for £25 on eBay!

miffy2 · 26/09/2017 20:43

Oh I saw the PJs and scrolled swiftly by as I recently got a lovely set in M&S and another in Primark.

Laska5772 · 26/09/2017 20:45

miffy what size did you go for in the stripey ? I went for S (as it says 'relaxed' and ive got the Ivy in S) .. we seem to be about the same size though according to your earlier posts

miffy2 · 26/09/2017 21:22

I went for M....hope that wasn't a mistake! Most of their knitwear fits me best in M if it is relaxed (last year's boyfriend linen jumper for example) and sometime L if it is more fitted. I am long enough in the body and have 32G boobs so it really depends. Will update in a few days as it has shipped out already (via my UK forwarder as I am in Ireland)

Laska5772 · 26/09/2017 21:39

Hmm... We should probably get it at the same time, mine should come Thursday they say.. I hope the S isnt too small..It could be then.. am 36E.
Normally I'd think M also but because it said 'relaxed' I plumped for smaller . Oh well , hopefully they wont sell out quickly .. and of course I am only looking at it

Laska5772 · 26/09/2017 21:42

I had the pink Lucie v neck jumper from them last year in M and it was big ( and also grew a little bit) but then it was cotton which does have a tendency to do so ..

neveradullmoment99 · 26/09/2017 23:05

I like the striped sweater. Don't like much else tbh. I picked up the wrap ruched skirt last year. I like it. The only thing i would consider is the stripey jumper and the Tansy dress. Its pretty.

neveradullmoment99 · 26/09/2017 23:06

I wish they would do a discount.

neveradullmoment99 · 26/09/2017 23:08

Its hardly a dress at 86cm though.

Laska5772 · 27/09/2017 10:21

The Hayden joggers might have also fallen into my basket...

chloechloe · 27/09/2017 12:02

queenoftheandals I have the Love jumper in dark grey / red. I would say it's sized as most Hush jumpers, so on the relaxed size. I'm a 10 with 34 DD chest and I would say the S is fairly relaxed but slim fit on me.

missfliss · 27/09/2017 13:53

I also have the love jumper ( grey with red writing) I'm a size 12 but went for the S as it was just a nicer fit on me

ilovecherries · 27/09/2017 17:08

I have a question about the grey wide jersey top. Am I the only person who has crease lines along the front as if it's been put on top of a Venetian blind while wet? The lines are about an inch apart, completely symmetrical, and run from neck to hem. They become less obvious if I'm standing for a while, presumably because gravity eases them out, but when I get up after sitting they are very obvious. I haven't washed it yet, but I've tried ironing it and that hasn't helped. They are more like crease ones, rather than marks. It's really weird (and annoying!).
