Thoughts?

I know a lot of people think hush is overpriced tat, but this thread is for those of us that still buy the odd thing.

I've had a brief look & like the look of the Christie coat & Cassie dress. Last year I got a dress in the same style of this years clover dress, which I love.

However, the prints this year are awful.

Ilovecherries I've just checked mine and definitely no lines although there are couple places where the darker grey marl is more obvious than others ( if that makes sense). Could it be that?

Thanks - no these are definitely crease marks. I can pull them out, but the minute I let go, they reappear.

Not sue if these demonstrate what I mean - was really hard to get decent images. But they are full width, from neck to hem.

cherries I can see what you mean.. I have just received mine and it has no marks like that.. Was yours a return? (mine was)
You could try washing it, but maybe you might want to email Hush first for their advice on being able to return it after you wash if they dont come out..

I have found the people at Hush customer services to be really good.. and I know they have taken back t shirts that have developed holes ( not mine but a friends) several months after selling them.

Sadly it looks like its sold out,and Hush told me that they are not getting any more in.. but you may be lucky to get a return instead as I did.. ( best time to look is about 9.30am for returns)

I think you should return it. Definetly not like mine. I also have bits where the grey marl is darker but nothing like the creases you have on your top.

Right, since others can actually see what I mean from the photos, I'm going to email the images to them, and see what they say. I don't think it was a return, it had been on back order for a few weeks before I got it last week.

Yes - they do look like Venetian blind lines!! Does the stitching look normal on the underside?
I think I'd do as Laska has suggested ring or email customer services, normally I think they would exchange but as it's sold out you suggest washing it and if it's no better ask for refund. As long as they're aware beforehand I'm sure they'll be no problem. ( Email them the pics)

Thanks everyone - will let you know what they say. It's SO obvious it really spoils the drape completely,the images don't really do justice to how obvious they are. I loved it, too.

Ive just looked at mine again and yes mine also has sort of stripes if you look at it at a certain angle , but they are not creases - more where the marl is.. they are also about the width of venetian blinds. . I wonder if the garment was treated and dried like that after and yours may have been on the botton of a pile IFYSWIM?

If they haven't come out after ironing it, I'd email them.

If they don't have any left, perhaps ask them if you can return it after washing it to see if they come out or else ask for a discount?

They should ask for it back though to see what caused the problem so they can avoid it happening again.

Historically Hush have had many issues with clothes arriving very creased. They seemed to have sorted the problem out so I'm sure they'd want to know if it wasn't sorted before they get an inbox full of complaints!

My love jumper came today. The grey one is lovely. Its a bit itchy for me. Not sure if i can honestly justify the price. Going to try on in daylight and make up my mind. Didnt like the pale pink one at all.

Never is that the big love one? I have the pink and really like it, I haven't found it itchy to wear but do wear a vest top underneath.
Price wise I justified it to myself by comparing to White Company knitwear and M&S cashmere ( irrelevant but made me feel better about so much on a jumper) Bought with the 10% discount as well though.
Enjoy! it'll be lovely when it gets really cold.

cherries ive just turned my grey top inside out and looked at it again under bedroom light and you can definately see its got horizontal crease linesall over at about just over an inch apart..

I really wouldnt have noticed that , but it shows up a lot under electric light. However only really on the wrong side of the fabric .. you certainly cant see them from the right way around in the same way you can with yours ..

How weird.. I wonder what the process is that has made the fabric like that ? .. The black top is not like that at all.

nearly a doc could you check yours inside out under electric light please? .. I am curious now.. I wouldnt have noticed this if cherries hadnt said..

That being said , I am still keeping my top.. its fine when on.. not noticable at all )

Laska have just turned mine inside out and double checked under the main light and there is definitely nothing there. Mine arrived from back order last Tuesday as I think did cherries so your return could be from the same batch. Are your two the same size I wonder? Mine is XS.

Never yes albeit briefly as the weather turned out warmer than I thought the day I wore it.

I want another jumper for this winter and am torn between Big Love in grey, the new star jumper in charcoal with the blue star ( I do have two from last year though) and the boxy indigo jumper with love in white writing. Any thoughts ladies?

I'm here! Just had a trying on session and it's not good news for my bank balance Blush

I got the Christie coat. It's basically the coat I've been looking for for three years. I saw one like it in a photo and have been trying to replicate it ever since - and here it is. It's beautiful.

I also got the green biker sweatshirt with the star - I thought the stitching on the shoulders would make my shoulders look too broad, but it's lovely.

I got the black shirt with little white lightning bolts - I've got the red one with white stars from a couple of years ago and worn it loads so I know it will be a good buy.

Most heartbreakingly, I got the Ash trainers with green and gold stars. I adore them - they're amazing - BUT they squeak like someone's torturing hamsters when I walk, so for that price, they're going back Sad
