Thoughts?

I know a lot of people think hush is overpriced tat, but this thread is for those of us that still buy the odd thing.

I've had a brief look & like the look of the Christie coat & Cassie dress. Last year I got a dress in the same style of this years clover dress, which I love.

However, the prints this year are awful.

Your DH sounds like mine leggy - on many occasions he's disposed of boxes whilst I've been mulling over whether to keep things, causing me to grumpily rummage through the garage for the box and returns label!

My order should hopefully be here today.

I'm sulking.

I've had to return my summer Stella jumper (holes) and my new earrings ( they broke after 2 weeks). The Ascot heels didn't fit, and so they went back too.

To cheer me up I've been waiting for the Yasmin Cardi, Anais bag, and grey marl Slub tee.

Got a notification this morning to say a package had arrived at Royal Mail local office today. Got all excited thinking I'd get a package - nothing.

Waaah.

They'd better be good when they get here as Hush stuff not in favour in this household now...

miss which earrings were they? Hush seem to have changed where they are buying some of their jewellery from and it's not Hultquist. I ordered one pair and thought they looked like they cost £1.99 on a market stall, posts were both bent. Rang customer service and told them they were coming back - no quibble in fairness.
If you like their 'original' jewellery so to speak ie: Hultquist, have a look at Lizzielane website, I ordered a pair of earrings I bought from Hush last year and lost one, in the meantime Hush were Oos. Excellent customer service and free delivery.

Nice enough, but £40.

They just aren't very robust.

No quibbling from hush to be fair, I've returned them for refund.

It was the lightning ones I ordered - again no quibble. Their Hultquist jewellery has always been super, such a shame they're getting it elsewhere.

Why would you buy plated silver earrings from Hush when you could get sterling silver for less, e.g. moon and stars.

I'm still waiting on a parcel that Hush say was dispatched on Wed, but the tracking says they've been notified it's coming but hasn't arrived with RM yet. I was hoping it was just a glitch and it would turn up today, but the post van has been and gone. Also waiting for a large refund to be processed. On the plus side, it's freezing here today so I've got my Ivy dress and thick woolly tights on :)

I'm finding this too.

Seems to take an age post 'processed' notification and providing a RM tracking number until it is actually scanned as received by the RM network. The pre-advice stage seems to take a very long time

Just to let you know for anybody unhappy with the quality of items - Hush have just agreed to refund me without any quibbles for two tshirts which have turned to rags.

To be fair many MNers said the quality wasn't great as soon as they got them - should have listened to them instead of being overly optimistic!

I'm now slightly worried as I put items from three orders into a returns box - seemed crazy not to, really. Except they refunded one 48 hours ago and no signs of other (much more expensive items) being refunded yet. Is this normal or have I messed their system up?

I wouldn't panic Ilove I've often done the same thing and it can be a matter of days between hearing each order has been received. Ive even on occasion not had an email but just the refund.

Anais bag arrived today. Absolutely Love it.

It's a keeper.

To be fair for the quality of leather I think it's very reasonably priced. Not much more expensive than the premium leather bags in M&S ( but so much nicer).

One side is plain black, the other is leopard print - so very very versatile.

Which Tshirts were they chloechloe?
I had a light Grey one with blue metallic stripes that looked awful after washing but they wouldn't refund.

Hi fivefour - they were the marble tee and the scatter star. Maybe try sending a photo? I also stated I'd washed them according to the instructions and that it was clearly a quality issue.

The hush red shoes that I loved were far too narrow, so these are hush inspired ( but actually from amazon!).

I really do heart this bag.

fivefour3twoone I have the grey t-shirt with metallic blue stripes and the few times I've washed it I've had to pull it apart from itself as the stripes stick together! Don't see it surviving for very long which means I don't wear it very often (which has made it €£€£€£ per wear!)

The bag is lovely. I do love a round bag in any case, but that one is particularly cute.

My order still hasn't reached RM a week after its apparent dispatch. And my £300 refund for other items still hasn't been processed 3 days after the first two items in the box were refunded. Which is annoying because I'd timed it so that they would be back on my cc before the bill became due.

I've had a bit of a hush splurge over August with the discount code!

Things I've kept are:
Harems
Amie joggers
Paloma jumper in Candy
Ivy dress in green
Metallic striped tee in grey/copper

I love it all! They were fab about replacing the Amies which had a hole. I love the tee but previous experience with Hush tees has taught me to be careful with it. That said, I've accidentally tumbled it twice now, and it's survived. I like that the metallic pattern stays put (unlike a similar one I had from Oasis which washed off in first wash!).

All in all a good haul!
