Thoughts?

I know a lot of people think hush is overpriced tat, but this thread is for those of us that still buy the odd thing.

I've had a brief look & like the look of the Christie coat & Cassie dress. Last year I got a dress in the same style of this years clover dress, which I love.

However, the prints this year are awful.

..tried them on again this morning, definately keeping the 12.. they are really nice..

Gah, the Ivy dress in both 10 and 12 SWAMP me and I'm usually a medium in Hush stuff.
Rushed skirt x 2 in wardrobe though, I wore mine to death last winter

I do like the Winona Trousers the Cannes top and the Ivy dress(es) which I have all kept (sigh.....) and I promised my credit card to be so good

I've got lots of the t shirts and none have got holes in yet - I've worn the koi one loads, it's a really flattering pale grey marl. The pink pineapple one went back as the colour was awful on me.
I think I might try a Tara dress.

The John Lewis website reckons lots of its hush stock is unique to them which I really can't see can be true

I'm lusting after the Helen jumper in black but I am trying very hard not to buy black things. But I have it in pink and it's lovely and I'm fancying myself wafting about in it with silver jewellery. It's is SO soft and now I work at home for myself I am all about the comfort. Talk me off the ledge!

I'm not really getting the Sabrina love either. I don't get the point of a cosy winter cardi with 3/4 sleeves. My hunt for the perfect long cardi continues.

I love the 3/4 sleeves! I always end up rolling or pushing my sleeves up and making them go baggy, so it's perfect for me. We're all different, eh?

I'm going to have a look at these Helen jumpers everyone loves...

Managed to get to John Lewis yesterday and tried on Tara dress in charcoal, Ashley trousers (grey) and the Alessia shirt, which I wouldn't have looked at online but saw in store and really liked. Bought all 3 things. Really love all 3 - didn't expect to like the Ashley trousers as they are quite thick material but they are really flattering and comfortable. The Tara dress is fab - they only had charcoal in JL and I decided to go for it as I have too much black and charcoal makes a nice change!

I put my order in last night before the code expires today. So naughty of me as I'm on mat leave and should be cutting spending!

Ordered the Tara dress in green, Pamplona frill skirt, Ditsy print skirt, the Love jumper in grey and red and a fine knit crew in grey.

I also had 2 other things in my basket and removed them. With living abroad I'm unlikely to return any of it so didn't want to go even more overboard than I have done!

I think JL are the only ones that sell Hush but I did think that anything they sell is on the Hush website too so that's a strange claim for them to make?

I've just ordered some jewelry for Christmas and an 18th biirthday present, so will report back.

There's still some lovely stuff in the sale section actually, I bought the frayed linen top pre holiday and wore it loads, a few other bits too.

I'm itching for the Tara in grey but have it in black, green and burgundy and a pile of ruched skirts. My sensible purchase would be lots of opaque tights to see me through the winter with all the skirts!

I've also ordered the Savanah lace top in black and white. I've long been after a lace top such as this and have never found one. I suspect it might swamp me and go back but I'll report my findings. For, £65 the material says silk so I took a punt.

Sorry needastrongone I meant the JL I was in only had it in charcoal in the store for me to try on. They didn't have it in the other colours.

Oh dear - placed yet another order!! Tara in charcoal although I really don't need another one I like the colour and could wear for work. Ordered the wide jersey x2 in small. I already have the xs on pre order but as they seem to going oos quickly I thought if xs didn't fit and I really liked it I better have a back up plan. Also the Alessia shirt as it looks very pretty, was sorely tempted by another big love jumper but resisted

Has anyone tried the Blossom dress?

I ordered the azalea dress last year, which looks a lot like the blossom dress. It was huge and not very flattering - I felt silly in it! But I'm 5 4 and I think the length was wrong for me - would probably work much better on a taller woman.

I've just ordered sintra shirt. It looks so fresh and smart and pretty: am hoping it doesn't disappoint!

Ok I am being good (ish at last! ). The Winona rousers in Midnight are going back.an .just keeping the black ones i already have .. They are nice but have decided I cannot justify keeping both pairs..

I've cracked and made an order today- last chance for 10% discount. knockered I've ordered the Blossom dress as well as Althea knit dress and Alexandra dress. I've ordered two sizes in each style as I know sizing can be variable.

Hummed and haaed but have no need for more Tara dresses (and preferred the summer v neck anyway). So ordered the Camo Morgan joggers and the Tyler Jersey Jumpsuit which is pure cotton. Both out of my comfort zone but I'm a lot lighter than I was this time last year so need to try different things. Like the Ivy dress but going to order a similar dress from COS in navy since it will be better quality for a similar price.

Ahh I ordered the Tara dress in black, the Tina dress in black and the Alexandra dress(charcoal grey). I wanted to see what the difference was between them, as I couldn't really work it out from the pictures online. I thought it would be a nice easy thing to wear to work.

Well... they are all lovely so I'm pretty sure I'm keeping all of them.

I'm wearing Tara dress today. It was a bit tighter than I thought (bought the medium last year, but this year seemed a bit tighter) but I pulled it down slightly and it looks really nice.

I absolutely love the Alexandra dress, it's so relaxed and flattering- it's quite thick wool so prob won't start wearing it until October, but I'm definitely keeping it, despite the £110 price tag.

I should probably send the Tina dress back, but I'm really tempted to keep it too. It's a bit more formal than the Tara dress. I'll maybe try it on one more time, I hope I'm not being silly keeping three dresses all v similar- although it will make getting ready for work a lot easier.

robots good feedback about Alexandra dress. I was hoping for thick wool.

So it's been a week of back and forth with orders, but I'm pleased with what I've decided on: Ivy dress in burgandy, Helen jumper in pink and red, harems in charcoal, Amie joggers in navy, and Winona trousers in navy.

I've sent back the lighting bolt tee and the star tee, the star jumper, the Tara dress and the ruched skirt. They also taken back the star biker sweat after the embroidery badly scratched my chest on first wear. Everything I did keep has had to go back once to get the size changed. My credit card is in shock but there should be a lot of credit going back on it over the next few days.

Oh, and nearly forgot, the wide jersey top on back order.
