Thoughts?

I know a lot of people think hush is overpriced tat, but this thread is for those of us that still buy the odd thing.

I've had a brief look & like the look of the Christie coat & Cassie dress. Last year I got a dress in the same style of this years clover dress, which I love.

However, the prints this year are awful.

I have the scatter tee from the last collection and it kept its shape and washed well. Until I went on holiday that is. I put it in a 30 deg wash and hung it outside to dry and the stars melted and stuck together! Not sure if it was the washing machine or being hung out in the sun!

The parka looks lovely jules but I already have one so can justify another.

Haven't placed an order yet but this thread is making me want to buy a lot!

Whitney168 · 25/08/2017 19:07

I have the Althea dress and the wide jersey top on order (won't hold my breath for top, says 6-7 weeks).

I hadn't seen the short parka. I love it in black. I should get off this thread.

fivefour3twoone · 25/08/2017 19:33

Received the blah blah tshirt and lightning bolt tshirt today - sending back cos they're super unflattering on my mumtum :-(
Keeping star hook earrings because I'm not sure now I've opened them if I'd be allowed to send back anyway

fivefour3twoone · 25/08/2017 19:35

I don't get the "love" for the love jumper...but then I'm not very fashion forward!

fivefour3twoone · 25/08/2017 19:46

I mean the big love jumper

neveradullmoment99 · 25/08/2017 20:21

I love the big love jumper but not sure the slogan thing is really me. I wish they did a big fluffy jumper with no slogan on it. Or it would have been gorgeous if they had made it with a star on the front. I think i would feel a bit foolish with love written on it at 49!

Nearlyadoctor · 25/08/2017 20:39

Never I've bought it and I'm 46! It is gorgeous and I must admit I'm not normally into slogans. I went for the rose/blush which I think it a little muted than the red. I would love it in some plain colours as well.

MumBod · 25/08/2017 21:33

I'm 43 and love the big Love jumper.

I'm fond of a slogan though.

neveradullmoment99 · 25/08/2017 22:03

The thing is though, if i had worn slogans before then it wouldnt bother me it would just be my thing but i just think my dh would look at me and think why!!!! but i do love it and may still yet succumb to it. I think i would love it in the grey tbh.

neveradullmoment99 · 25/08/2017 22:05

Its funny, it looks shorter in the pink. Is it long and baggy?
I had the yeti jumper and cardigan from a few seasons ago and loved them.

Nearlyadoctor · 26/08/2017 07:25

I've sized up to a medium to get the look on the model and some bagginess, I always wear xs in hush tops so am surprised the model is supposed to be wearing xs. (I'm an 8-10 top)

TragicRabbit · 26/08/2017 10:58

neveradullmoment
I've got the yeti jumper and cardigan and they're much bigger than the Love jumper. I'm a 12 and the medium is just the right length and flatteringly roomy rather than oversized like the yeti.
I got the charcoal one so can't comment on the others.

starlight36 · 26/08/2017 13:15

Just got the Forest Green Ivy and love it. It is a great colour and is a really flattering style on me. Like others am loving the pockets. If it washes well can see this being a real wardrobe favourite. If you believe the recent articles one of my 'regular 5'.

tentative3 · 26/08/2017 18:59

Argh, am I too late for the 10% code?

Laska5772 · 26/08/2017 19:01

No its until the 31st Tentative PREVIEW17

miffy2 · 26/08/2017 19:05

OK I have now placed 4 orders - gahhhh!

So far this is the tally of my keeps and returns.

Keeping:
Ivy dress in burgundy
Star biker sweatshirt
Helen jumper in candy (pink)
Grey jersey wide top

Returned:
Navy Amie joggers (replacing with Harems in navy as I love this style more)
Erica top (too short; have ordered a size up)
Florence skirt (also sizing up, too narrow on waist)
Ren midi dress (unflattering on me)
Que sera sera T ( didn't think it was wort the money)

Waiting on:
sloppy joe in yellow, black wide jersey top (pre-order), Erica top, Florence skirt, Ivy dress in green, Harems in navy and the peek a boo lace top.

No more!!! I am done.

Laska5772 · 26/08/2017 19:09

Sorry..tentative A17PREVIEW is the code

tentative3 · 26/08/2017 19:09

Thank you Laska! You're a star.

I'm looking at the Ivy dress, the Felix dress (have in navy already) and off to investigate some other things now...

tentative3 · 26/08/2017 19:12

Ok, I'm busty (32GG) and between a 12 and 14. Do you think M in the Ivy dress would be too small?

Laska5772 · 26/08/2017 19:14

I am giving the Winona trousers in Black a go now whilst still in the preview offer..

ilovecherries · 26/08/2017 19:15

I got my Ivy dress today. I love it, but I'm wondering if that's because when I was fat I wore a lot of that sort of unstructured dress. Now I'm a lot less fat, I'm wondering if I'm hanging onto the style as 'safe'. Hmm. I have a medium, and though a small would be too tight on the bust, the medium really is quite big still. Same with the Helen jumper, which I ordered in large, but again it's loose. However, as I'm still losing weight, both would carry me down at least another stone. My friend says I need to ditch the loose stuff now, but I'm feeling horribly self conscious in fitted clothes - and also still a bit lumpy and bumpy in places.

Laska5772 · 26/08/2017 19:17

tenative I have the Ivy (in all 3 colours nowBlush just love it... I am size 12/14 36E,, i have gone for the Small as I wanted oversized but not too much ..but maybe order both S and M and send one back?

ilovecherries · 26/08/2017 19:17

tentative, my ivy is a medium, and I would say I'm a 14-16 at the moment, and a K cup.

MaisyPops · 26/08/2017 19:18

I'd never heard of them until this week when i saw it on here.

I think thry seem oddly shapeless and frumpy based on teh website. Is that notmally what theyre like?

Laska5772 · 26/08/2017 19:24

Im hoping the Winona trousers will look good with the Cannes top (which is just great - simple and classic )
