Perfumes that strangers stop you in the street for?

Just that really, I was asked today by a (very lovely looking) chap what perfume I was wearing, and would love to know what everyone else gets asked about fragrance wise. It was Alien Absolue btw.

I used to use a squirt of Daisy to clean permanent marker off my waterproof maps for hillwalking (I had 3 bottles of it somehow after everyone bought me it for Christmas!) and was once asked what perfume I was wearing by another walker, who looked at me like I was mad when I explained it wasn't me but the map I was holding!
Should've just said Daisy and left it at thatGrin

I wear Chanel mostly, Allure I get asked quite a bit, but the one that I always used to get asked about and its such an oldie, is Dior Dune. The bottle is nearly empty and its years old, even dark its so fermented by now. Thought I would have a Dune day the other day for a change as I found it at the back of my draw. True as bob, someone commented on how it suited me and asked what it was.

Oddly, the only time I am asked is when I have the Primark(!) PS Love Noir on. Costs £3.50. Apparently smells like La Vie Est Belle.

La Vie Est Belle, Alien, Womanity, Coco Channel, Shay and Blue Bellatrophia (sp?). All gorgeous. All always commented on. I love my perfume. It's my little bit of luxury.

I used to wear Chanel Allure in my early twenties but it reminds me so strongly of an ex that it's firmly resigned to that point in my life. I love that perfume can act as a bottled memory though.

I got asked what I was wearing recently, it was Angel, and wasn't surprised as I think it's a very strong perfume and I can smell it a mile off when out and about. It's not what I usually wear but was given some samples and they fit nicely in your bag

I usually have a Marc Jacobs on the go (Kiss at the moment)..I didnt realise it was child attracter

Badders Morrison's have Sun moon and Starts for about a tenner!! I love it -
takes me back to the early 90s in a flash!

The only time I've been complimented on my perfume (and I've got rather a lot Blush) is wearing Issey Miyake 'Pleats Please' It's not one of my favourites but clearly a crowd pleaser compared to my others Grin

I heard a lady in Sainsbury's asking a customer about her perfume. She was really raving about it.

It was Molecule. I really want to smell it now.

I have never heard of Molecule (but I am not in UK)... and I just checked online now.... wow, that is pretty pricy... Shock. Not sure if it is just so expensive here and its imported (where is it manufactured?). Fancied giving that a try, but seems I will not be... Hmm. Where do you all buy it from?
