Just that really, I was asked today by a (very lovely looking) chap what perfume I was wearing, and would love to know what everyone else gets asked about fragrance wise. It was Alien Absolue btw.

Coromandel always gets comments.

A little girl tugged my sleeve last weekend to tell me I smelt to really nice! I'm now avoiding daisy dream by Marc Jacobs as it is obviously cat nip for kids!

TolpuddleFarterOATB · 11/06/2017 00:09

Recently I got asked what I was wearing when I had Marc Jacobs Decadence on.

Babymamamama · 11/06/2017 00:14

Two cheapies but goodies which people always ask me about: Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker. And Butterfly by Marks and Spencer.

MrsKlugscheisser · 11/06/2017 00:17

Coromandel and Chanel No. 22. Always.

ThreeForAPound · 11/06/2017 00:19

Often happens to me, but never with the fragrances I love Grin.

DD and her friends (junior school) tell me I smell 'a-may-zing' if I wear sweet fruity florals...most recently Viktor & Rolf Bonbon & Lancone La Vie Est Belle.

Stopped twice in recent weeks for completely different fragrances. Colleagues at work kept commenting on Sisley Izia (fruity floral)...but had various stranger comments on Sisley Soir de Lune, which is a heavy, old-lady-rose, musky, oak-mossy chypre.

As the Yanks say...Go Figure Grin

SpikeGilesSandwich · 11/06/2017 00:21

A man told me I smelt amazing while I was on holiday, I had to tell him it was deet (mosquito repellent) Grin

An old one Burberry weekend and my Marc jacobs decadence and divine decadence

HarrietSchulenberg · 11/06/2017 01:38

Charlie Red, believe it or not. I often get asked about it. I've had "proper" perfumes before but Charlie seems to suit me.
I used to get comments about my vanilla Bodyshop perfume years ago but more of the "Oooh, you smell like cake" variety.

Estee Lauder Beautiful

phoolani · 11/06/2017 01:55

Just got Chloe and have had several compliments. I'm not surprised: it doesn't smell like an individual fragrance to me, it smells like 'perfumed woman' - yknow, those ultra groomed women who waft a perfumed smell? It smells like that.

Crochita · 11/06/2017 01:55

All of my Al Rehab ones! Especially Bakhour and Red Roses.

RoseTico · 11/06/2017 02:32

Molecule 01. It's always 50/60 year old looking women who stop and ask me, and they always seem disappointed by the name!

squoosh · 11/06/2017 02:44

SJP Lovely and Chanel Sycomore

I'm happy to brag about the Chanel but I always have a mini cringe (yes, because I'm shallow!) when I have to say 'Sarah Jessica Parker' even though I do the perfume. Sorry Sarah Jessica.

squoosh · 11/06/2017 02:45

'Do love the perfume' not 'do the perfume'. I don't love it that much!

WelshMoth · 11/06/2017 02:59

OP he was chatting you up I reckon. Wink

Anyway, FWIW, I've been asked when I wear Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille, The Body Shop's Shea, their Coconut too, Tisserand's 'de-stress' spray (a mix of essential oils) and Lush's Gorilla Vanillary (although like a pp, it's been a child).

That said, I'm a firm believer in body chemistry 'liking' or suiting only certain scent groups. Years back, I bought a new boyfriend the JPGaultier fragrance that I loved on an ex, but it made me feel nauseous on the new bf. I learnt that scents smell different on certain people.

Stella by Stella McCartney.

Not once in my life has this happened to me! I wear (what I think are) unusual and arresting perfumes - Chanel No 5, Chanel Misia, YSL noble leather, Tom Ford Sahara Noir. Nobody has ever asked me what perfume I'm wearing Blush
