I had my hair dyed for the first time tonight - subtle balayage which I love. Then I came home and panicked to realise the deadline for a writing contest I planned to enter was today, not tomorrow! Had to quickly sort it, but got it done :) No buys to report, but now the hair is done then I might make some purchases! Hope everyone's having a nice week.

I was checking the Coach sale a few days back and QueenC's lovely bag came back into stock and I bought it, in a non stalkerish way

Very pleased with it though it is more sort of ladylike and structured than most of my bags. Love the colour and hadn't seen anything comparable anywhere else. Though I did like the look of this bag too.

I'm intrigued as to what is interesting you all for AW. I am still scouring the bargains of the sales at the moment. I don't like to think AW until September at the minimum.

Just got back from a few days away so absolutely no fashion news from me except the Boden dress arrived and it will be great for holidays and hot days.

We've had a busy day today - waves to Dry and off out to a party tonight. Its gorgeous weather here so I think I'll wear the MV stripe maxi dress & silver gigi's and take a wrap as it will get chilly later.

Can't remember who mentioned their summer has been bad for the waistline but I hear you - too many meals out and far too many cocktails. I'll see if I can force down a few more tonight though

Haven't posted because I can't keep up. Fedup my waist has gone MIA over the summer. Trying to low carb very badly.

Not much S&B news. I have been using my Radley bag. I like it but find it quite heavy even though I've put minimal items in it. hopinh that when I'm using it over a sturdy coat in winter it won't rub around my neck. I had a day in town on Tuesday but nothing caught my eye. It was hot and Autumn clothes didn't have much appeal. zthis morning bought a pair of levi 311's from Costo for a bargain price of £34. very happy with them.

Apologies for anything I've failed to respond to. Addled old brain.

Dream I too love a Costco bargain. Looking forward to my hold to finally wear my ruched dresses, I've had them for ages but they're quite bright and are more holiday colours, for me anyway.,

Lib and Fedup I can happily report that the Boden shoes are very comfortable. In th name of MNV I road tested them yesterday, wore them to work, especially for you Lib* and they instantly felt comfortable. I have wide feet and they didn't feel like new shoes at all. I'm very happy with them.

Justa swoons at the Marmot bag, you said you were going to buy it at the MU, such a lovely bag I went somewhere last year where the thermometer read 45 degrees, it was super hot but spent a lot of time in the pool so it was manageable, hope yours was.

Saw a woman inl Waitrose yesterday with this LV bag clocked it straightaway, looked down at her feet and she was wearing Gucci slippers I love these shoes although I have a feeling they would suit my wide feet

Mara re tv......I'm starting 'Billions' which has great reviews, 'The Fall' on Amazon is excellent but bloody scary. Also watched 'The Last Tycoon' on Amazon, Scott Fitzgerald, enjoyed it, great clothes. Can't beat GoT if you're into that sort of thing and have a strong stomach, ditto 'Vikings'. Watched 'A Place to Call Home', Aussie Downton type, earlier this year which is fluffy, not scary and not violent. also Orange is the New Black which is funny......yup I'm an addict.

Went for a mooch today in the city. Came back deflated. Everything is too cropped, to puffy, too shapeless. The only shops where I saw things I liked but don't need were Sandro and Reiss.

Mara I love your Zara skirt. I've been lusting after a pleated midi. Tried one on today but DD laughed and said it was "like something granny would wear" ...............

Oh and for Autumn I'm fancying a grey handbag if anyone sees any around....nothing much today, apart from a lovely Marc Jacobs that had silver hardware.

Dry what type of grey handbag? Cross body, tote? If it's a cross body I've got my eye on one I could pm you. I'm waiting for a discount code to come up before I buy it.

Shoulder/cross body Kitty why aren't I surprised we are after same thing? but......then I'll need grey boots etc.....

ooh love those Gucci slippers Kitty and the lv bag. I have never really looked at lv as a brand, I think because of the ubiquity of the monogram print but there are some really lovely leather bags. Way out of my price range though!

Although it was super hot on hols surprisingly we all coped ok. Everywhere was air conditioned and we would go to the beach and pool when it cooled down from late afternoon. Not sure I would go back again this time of year though!

Feeling quite uninspired fashion wise atm, I feel as if I have nothing to wear despite my wardrobes bursting. I think I need to have a bit of a clear out before seeing what gaps there are. I think its also that I feel heavier after my holiday. I started taking apple cider vinegar today. I am expecting it to work miracles!

Hi all, just had a lovely couple of days with a friend staying. Outfits boring as it's just been doing stuff with the dc. So glad I bought the white stuff jacket earlier this year as it's been so useful to throw on with the kids.

These shoes came up on my IG and I love them. Don't need any new shoes though especially at that price.
Still dithering over what to buy. The top I like is £145 which is more than I'd usually pay but it's new in and so unlikely to go on sale anytime soon and I don't think they ever offer discount codes. If anyone remembers I pointed it out in the window when we had the mu saying that would be my next purchase....

There is also this Marc Jacobs bag which looks nice.

Those are lovely bernice but I'm after leather. I've got suede heels and flats but they really mark in the rain.

Just returned from the chiropractor-I've got a likely herniated disc with accompanied muscle spasms.i feel like I did a full work out on his couch-it was both knackering and painful!
