Today I am wearing a loose Hobbs kakhi and navy shirt dress with gold Clark's ballet flats. Am liking my new bronzer a lot, definitely gives a healthy glow. Have after work drinks tonight.

Dry you were right about the artichokes, they were well worth it! Just did them with a bit of spaghetti and lemon in the end, nice dinner in the garden with dh.

Lib forgot to say I think your black tie outfit is spot on and love the tan bag, will be very useful indeed.

Unfortunately I'm out for the 8th, it's as I feared (DM and DB birthdays are on the 10th, and my mum wants to organise a BBQ on the 8th rather than the 15th) :( but I'd love to come to any London mini MUs that get organised, definitely want to see you before you go Lib.

Had a nice night out with DH. Wore a blush coloured dress with small coral and navy spots from monsoon and my nude carvela sandals. It was a bit cooler than I expected so could have done with a cardigan.

Update on my recent purchases...the McQueen dress is okay but not knockout. Funnily enough the dcs who always compliment me when I look good, especially ds, don't like it and that's what's put me off. The Gianvito Rossi shoes are totally awesome.

I got the Estée Lauder double wear light the other week and am really pleased with it. I was looking for a tinted moisturiser originally but tried this and love it. It is light but offers a bit more coverage than a tinted moisturiser. I would recommend it if any one is looking for something lighter gir summer.

It has been a bad day... Normal service will hopefully resume tomorrow..

terrible, awful news from last night makes me both angry and really sad. those poor people, they must have been terrified. i've been fielding messages from various family members making sure we are safe. hope all london voguettes are safe and well
