Join us to talk all things fashion and beauty. The clocks go forward next Sunday (who's bright idea was it to organise that on Mother's Day?!). Longer days and hopefully some sunshine - we're dying to get our ankles out.
All welcome :)

Finally, this top. Much brighter pink irl and I really like it.

I've just got all my summer stuff out and I'd forgotten how many tops I have!

Fairylane · 02/04/2017 13:09

Nice purchases Queen. That reminds me, I also got this.

Fairylane · 02/04/2017 13:20

I think I have to 100% love a bag at that price. So I'll send it back and instead book a holiday with DCs Grin.

DryWhiteagainW · 02/04/2017 14:03

nice buys QueenC. I agree about denim jackets. I have a fitted one ancient that I love. Like black bikers, most denim jackets look a bit tough on me, and I think you're gamine/feminine/whatever too.

This summer I'd like to do the midi dress and trainers like Dream and denim jacket look.

Isn't it wonderful to be able to have all of the windows open ?

Longislandicetee · 02/04/2017 16:02

Those are good buys QueenC. Don't worry, no intention of getting that dress, thankfully they don't have it in my size but yes i know with my boobs the dress would look mighty frumpyGrin

I am just resting up after running around all day, including Sunday lunch out with the kids. Loving my outfit today animal print top by warehouse with blue gap kid jeans and my Chloe ballet flats. I am wearing this wempe aquamarine ring and thought to myself "oh yes, this ring really is more suited to a casual outfit" then decided to slap myself a bit.Grin

queencerulean · 02/04/2017 16:42

Love these sandals

queencerulean · 02/04/2017 16:44

I so wish that these were round toe as I love them!

queencerulean · 02/04/2017 16:46

shop have you seen these shoes

libertydoddle · 02/04/2017 16:48

fairy good call on the bag. As you say at that price it does need to be love. I really like the HL denim jacket. Good to have another autumn on the thread.

Nice top QueenC and i can definitely see you in the utility jacket.

Lots of midi dresses in ST Style today. I'll definitely get one.

Blingy my GP doesn't do a walk in. I could ask for an emergency apt but then you only get 5 minutes and i want a proper consultation.

queencerulean · 02/04/2017 16:49

Wish these were round toed too

shopafrolic · 02/04/2017 18:44

Like those shoes QueenC (I hadn't seen them) I just wish they would do them with a black sole and heel. So frustrating.
I've just spent the entire afternoon trying to get shoes to fit miniShop - he has very wide feet and they roll inwards which means there is literally nothing (other than trainers and one pair of Startrite school shoes) that he can wear. Time for a referral to a podiatrist, the specialist shoe shop in Milton Keynes couldn't even find anything to fit him Hmm
I'm on the wine.

libertydoddle · 02/04/2017 21:15

Sounds annoying shop. Hopefully podiatrist can help.

Totally off topic...We are watching a series about climbers on Everest as a friend of DH's is in it (he's a helicopter rescue pilot). The whole thing is such a load of first world crap. People on oxygen, having all their gear carried by Sherpas on a bloody glory holiday putting themselves and loads of other people at risk Shock. It's completely ridiculous.

Longislandicetee · 02/04/2017 21:58

Poor you ShopSad

QueenC, weird that link didn't work for me!

Lib, I am with you on the whole Everest thing. waits for someone to pop by and tell us off

We had such a nice end to the day playing tennis in the back garden with blue skies and sunshine. We were streaming the top 40 into the garden through the rock speakers and it's making me look forward to the next 6 months now. We also spent the weekend discussing the final plans for the play area we are building. It should be fab for the kids assuming dh and I don't throttle each other as we have very different ideas on what we should doHmm

AmberNectarine · 02/04/2017 22:02

blingy can you link to the rock speakers? DH and I have Sonos all over the house and would love in the garden at new house!

AmberNectarine · 02/04/2017 22:04

Wore the M&S top again today (with dark grey skinnies and the beloved Otters) - love it, but the freaking cat spent all day chewing on the sleeve ties!

libertydoddle · 02/04/2017 22:07

Is it an outdoor play area Blingy? My DB has an area in his garden for his DC - outdoor kitchen, sandpit, lots of mud!! His kids and all the cousins love it.

Longislandicetee · 02/04/2017 22:28

Amber, I will check with dh when he comes into the bedroom. Just googled and want to make sure I link the right ones. We have Sonos and speakers built into the ceiling in almost every room, hands down one of the best things we have put in our house.

Lib, yes outdoor play area. It will have a playhouse, climbing frame (which has got things like rock wall, swing, slides etc) saw and merry go round. It's quite a big area so will put those in then see what else the dcs want. Dh wanted a tennis court.Hmm

queencerulean · 03/04/2017 08:18

Morning. blingy'sounds great. Must be costing a fortune-we need a new trampoline and I was shocked by the prices-I'm sure we didn't pay that much for the last one!

Wearing the denim jacket today with black trousers, grey brogues and my fave toast top. Also my new lipstick. So not a winter colour but I like to embrace my spring leanings in spring/summer (hopes hopefully isn't reading Grin)

libertydoddle · 03/04/2017 08:36

Your plan sounds much more exciting than a tennis court Blingy. You can replace with a tennis court when they are teenagers.

libertydoddle · 03/04/2017 08:37

Great OOTD QueenC. Still in PJ's here....

shopafrolic · 03/04/2017 12:41

For Amber

DryWhiteagainW · 03/04/2017 13:43

I was lucky enough to grow up with a tennis court Blingy, fab memories of hours playing tennis in the summer with friends and fiercely competitive matches with my Dsis . Had climbing wooden frame/adventure thing and trampoline for my Dcs...DH wanted a tennis court!

DryWhiteagainW · 03/04/2017 13:46

Oh....today ideas woman in the gym, using equipment wearing across body handbag ShockGrin

OOTD:
Khaki skinnies need replacing..ideas welcome
Cream lace top
Stone biker
Leopard print flats no socks..yippee
Brown cross body Fossil bag.
Feels like spring!!!!

Dreamqueen · 03/04/2017 17:45

I've logged myself out on the computer and can't remember password. I'm still in on phone but don't like phone app. Working up the strength to try and change password.

FedupNagging · 03/04/2017 19:34

Gorgeous day today; I wore this boho top for the first time with navy crops and gazelles.

Fairy, great bag but there is no point keeping if you are not sure. A holiday sounds good though.

Queen your blouse link just takes me to the main page as does the Dune shoes. Nice utility jacket and a really good all round colour. I like that you can roll the sleeves too.

Nice ootd Dry; no idea what to replace your khaki skinnies with atm - I'm having the same quandry with my navy and black skinnies which have seen better days.

My grey Gap herringbone blazer (think Shop has this too) also needs replacing but I can't decide with what - it's a great shape and colour and goes with everything. I've had my eye on a navy blazer from Hobbs but not sure. I think I just want an identical one, maybe a slightly different shade of grey to mix it up a little Grin
