Join us to talk all things fashion and beauty. The clocks go forward next Sunday (who's bright idea was it to organise that on Mother's Day?!). Longer days and hopefully some sunshine - we're dying to get our ankles out.
All welcome :)

Dry, whilst faffing around looking for wide leg crops for me (in petite), I came across these:
Esprit in grey
Esprit in khaki
Jigsaw in dark kale - since when has kale been a colour? Hmm
kale again but not skinnies - just putting it out there...

DryWhiteagainW · 03/04/2017 22:37

Oh thanks Fedup

shopafrolic · 04/04/2017 16:25

Bye bye Jenna

for Lib

Oh i like them shop.

Am hungover after a 'one quick drink' after a meeting turned into a very drunken session last night. Dragging myself into a meeting now praying my hair dries in half reasonable shape before i get there. Need to do makeup on train one of my pet hates when others do it

OOTD brown leather a line skirt, mustard Zara blouse, trench coat and new metallic and suede loafers.

BerniceBobsHerHair · 05/04/2017 08:57

I like the sound of your outfit Lib but sounds a painful day ahead. I have no stamina for hangovers anymore.

Surprised about Jenna, she seems synonymous with J Crew - reading between the lines it sounds like she was pushed!

Shop I know you are considering the Office ones but have you looked at the Marks slingbacks? I saw them in store and they are good I think. I have bought these as I prefer not to wear slingbacks.

Love that top FedUp - I tried it on and didn't like the balloon sleeves on me. Dry I also tried the gingham top Amber recently bought and it looked awful on me too! I like the way you have worn it Amber.

Blingy I hope you have found the lost jewellery.

My OOTD is stripey top, black pinafore dress, opaques (still) and these bargainous boots.

Stokey how have you got on with your dungarees?

shopafrolic · 05/04/2017 09:05

I did try those Bernice - they were pretty good. I need to wait till May to buy as April is an expensive month and the balance of our Mexico holiday is due. Hopefully by then the sun will be shining a bit more and I'll feel a bit more like looking at my pasty heels!

morning all

spent the weekend up north to see Ds and other family and friends. was a good weekend but very exhausting.

i'm really pleased as i am managing to wear proper bras for short periods now after not being able to wear one at all. Feels good and feels like i look better as well which is definitely a bonus.

no shopping news to report but i sorted through all my make up and came up with loads to give my niece to play with so she'll be happy with that i think and i'm sure her mum, my sister, will end up pinching some of it as well!

need to think about sunglasses now, considering having my rayban frames relensed into prescription sunglasses and then just buying a new pair of plain glasses. i like having a couple of pairs on the go so no one pair takes all the hammer as i have a bad habit of falling asleep with them on which strains the frames

Dreamqueen · 05/04/2017 12:43

Not S&B related at all!!!
Need recommendations for a new hoover for my son. he has a dyson DC50 & its rubbish. I've spent all morning taking it apart following dyson instructions to declog it & I've ruined my nails! Angry So the money I'd earmarked for shopping at Mulberry outlet is now going for a hoover.

libertydoddle · 05/04/2017 18:01

No ideas Dream. We have a Dyson much against my wishes as I wanted to boycott the brand after Brexit However DH decreed that I had no say in the matter as I never do the hoovering.

I have a rather nice evening function to go to in June so decided to keep my eye out for a new dress - saw this on the Outnet yesterday and loved it instantly! It's sold out today so glad I went with my instinct - just have to psyche myself up for the cheeky DHL man now Confused

Today has not been fun, I am officially too old for hangovers - my error was only having a packet of crisps to eat. My stomach has been churning all day.

About to order this v cool sweater for DD.

VivaVegas · 05/04/2017 19:20

Dream we recently got this Mielee* which is very good and much better than our previous Dyson, not that I do much hoovering!

shopafrolic · 05/04/2017 19:28

Dream no Hoover advice sorry - I hate my Dyson
Lib love that sweatshirt - do you reckon boys can wear them too? Quite fancy one for miniShop

shopafrolic · 05/04/2017 19:36

Scrap that question, they're all unisex. Will just choose the words.....

Everyonelovessparkles · 05/04/2017 20:37

Love that dress lib bet it will look great on you. Cool sweatshirt for DD.

dream we have a Miele which is good but heavy. We also have a Bosch cordless upright which is fab. We must use it about 10 times a day (open plan kitchen / family room and messy DC!).

No fashion news here. Am enjoying the spring weather but can't wait for proper summer to finally get my pasty legs out though they will need a lot of work to get them ready for the airing Grin

libertydoddle · 05/04/2017 20:53

Thanks everyone. I have high hopes for it!

Shop i think the sweaters are definitely unisex. He'd look great in one. We buy boys clothes for DD all the time. The boys section in H&M does much better sweaters, t-shirts, joggers etc than the girls section.

AmberNectarine · 05/04/2017 21:51

I have this, which is the best hoover in the universe. It mops and hoovers at the same time.

shopafrolic · 05/04/2017 21:56

Bloody hell Amber does it serve a mean G&T too for that price?!

OP posts:
libertydoddle · 05/04/2017 22:09

I am never showing that to DH Grin

libertydoddle · 06/04/2017 09:29

Morning all! Beautiful day here.

OOTD Elia B metallic loafers, midi navy Uniqlo skirt, new very dark green/brown See by Chloe shirt (TKMaxx find), trench coat. Bright red nails, gold earrings, sunnies.

shopafrolic · 06/04/2017 09:53

Lib I meant to say that dress looks perfect for you.
Sunshine here (we're not dressed yet) - on countdown to holiday. Need to spend the day ironing!
