Join us to talk all things fashion and beauty. The clocks go forward next Sunday (who's bright idea was it to organise that on Mother's Day?!). Longer days and hopefully some sunshine - we're dying to get our ankles out.
All welcome :)

Enjoy the garden Marsha, it is beautiful out there.

That model looks murderous Everyone, poor styling! Looks like there are some nice bits, possibly a bit girly for me but think I need to get into ruffles this season.

Anyone seen this Next peasant top in RL? Lots of bloggers are raving about it.

I've also been sucked in to a Boden order - got a denim dress & some dungarees coming as well as a couple of bits for DD1 .

MarshaBrady · 21/03/2017 18:53

I haven't Stokey but I really like it for you

Matches have delivered. I thought dh would laugh. He didn't. But then said I looked like the Queen. But then so keep them. So not sure Confused

I think I love them? But they absolutely require ankle showing.

MarshaBrady · 21/03/2017 19:01

Now he's saying they are good. So very comfy. Lovely colour. Perfect heel. Just need to be able to pull them off!

libertydoddle · 21/03/2017 21:33

You can do it Marsha!!!

I have my medical for my visa tomorrow. Clinic is right beside Harvey Nichols Grin.

Everyonelovessparkles · 22/03/2017 08:32

Hope the Lisbon trip goes well marsha. What did you decide to wear in the end? I'm sure you pull off those shoes!

That top looks nice stokey. I haven't seen it IRL. Sometimes I am disappointed with next as something will look on their website and when you see it in the shop it just looks 'meh'.

Good luck with the medical lib. Maybe you will need to shelter in HN from all this rain? Grin

libertydoddle · 22/03/2017 09:03

I am fairly sure i will everyone Grin

BerniceBobsHerHair · 22/03/2017 12:46

Ooh do report back Lib

Marsha I can understand why you were uncertain following DH's comment 'I like them' 'But they make you look like the Queen' 'But I like them...' Grin Would love to see a pic.

Stokey what did you buy? I just bought these unseasonal sandals

My Cos top arrived - it is a very orangey red but I think I will keep it as I like the shape of it.

Everyone I like the look of a lot of the Preen x debenhams stuff but put off a bit as it is polyester heavy. I agree about the model too!

I love this dress almost enough to overlook the polyester

I like this dress for summer and it is one of their few cotton offerings.

I am thinking of getting a gingham top - I quite like the Preen one or this Marks one

London Ladies - check the news and stay safe xx

Hi all! Just popped in to say hi and hope everyone is well? Been up to my eyes in business stuff and building work, only popped in occasionally to have a quick scan of the thread.

Building work should be completed in next 2-3 weeks, and I have a Gucci bag in my head as a 'treat' for me for weeks of living in a building site Grin so will be posting again soon! Been missing all your fabby links too, but I've definitely spent less! Grin On clothes anyway. It's ll went on home furnishings and technology! Blush

Everyonelovessparkles · 22/03/2017 15:31

Saw that shop. Hope it's nothing too bad.

Those sandals are nice bernice. Let me know if they're comfy, I'm
always put off boden shoes as people always say how uncomfortable they are. Those preen dresses are good too. I think I prefer the preen gingham top to the m&s one as I'm not sure about those ties on the sleeves. I find m&s do this a lot. They just add one details too much and it can ruin the whole item.

Hello happy! I've missed your bag purchases! Glad to hear you've got something in mind though. Grin good luck with the rest of the building work.

LinusLovesBretons · 22/03/2017 17:42

Sorry I haven't been on the thread in such a long time but I just wanted to make sure all the London MNVoguettes are ok as I just saw what happened on the news. Sad

AmberNectarine · 22/03/2017 18:21

Apart from a slightly arduous commute home, I'm quite alright. Not going to dignify those shitty acts with the oxygen of publicity.

libertydoddle · 22/03/2017 18:22

Painful commute here too but home and all fine.

shopafrolic · 22/03/2017 19:45

Waves to Linus 😘

So glad to hear that! Stay safe everyone!

😘 back shop Grin

Longislandicetee · 22/03/2017 21:39

Just popping in to say hello. And big wave to Linus

DryWhiteagainW · 22/03/2017 21:55

Hello Linus!!!

Everyone saw that M and S ruffled SS top the other day, v nice.

libertydoddle · 23/03/2017 09:46

I did have a little wander around HN yesterday. Lingered a while sighing over the lovely things in the Erdem section. This Erdem dress (wrong colours for me) is just such a perfect shape.

Also liked a lot of Alice and Olivia especially this maxi skirt

After HN i went into The Kooples. Loved this shirt and also this teadress in the same print

I have just ordered these Elia B loafers. My beloved leopard print Elia B loafers are looking rather tired so need an update.

shopafrolic · 23/03/2017 10:57

some pretty things on the High Street

my happy discovery this week is that Aldo do half sizes in their shoes, which is fantastic for me as i am actually a half size but usually end up with shoes being slightly too big as so few places do half sizes. I've bought two pairs of brogue like lace up shoes, one in an all over textured metallic pattern and one in a snakeskin pattern. as they are real leather ill have to break them in before wearing them for long periods but i'm really pleased with them Smile I know M&S and clarks do half sizes but don't really like much of what they offer, they don't really fit with my style i guess

Dreamqueen · 23/03/2017 15:53

Do we know where MU is yet? Worried that I missed to info. Hoping to do a Regent Street shop first!

DryWhiteagainW · 23/03/2017 15:55

GoshLiberty that Erdem dress is perfect, absolutely my fav shape.

Everyonelovessparkles · 23/03/2017 16:29

Lovely links lib. Agree that the erdem dress is fab. Nice shoes and good for this time of year. Hope the medical went ok.

Glad that the m&s bkouseclooks good IRL dry. Cone on m&s, when's your next 20% off! Grin

Good discovery one. I've never bought shoes from Aldo, it's one of those shops I always forget about.

My holiday hunt for oct half term is not proving fruitful. Can't believe how much the prices go up in school hols Shock. Maybe I'll just put the money towards my ring instead Grin

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 23/03/2017 17:38

My sister is in labour Grin

(I really want to come to the MU and there is a chance I might make it in the evening if I go to hers first thing on Saturday (about 70 miles away and we won't stay ages I'm sure) and come home... hope so!)

DryWhiteagainW · 23/03/2017 17:54

Exciting Blair
