Join us to talk all things fashion and beauty. The clocks go forward next Sunday (who's bright idea was it to organise that on Mother's Day?!). Longer days and hopefully some sunshine - we're dying to get our ankles out.
All welcome :)

I've got them Lib, mine are a couple of years old.

Have worn loads including on the tube, great functional sandal. Actually my childminder bought them too after admiring mine & she walks a lot.

They're less exposing than Gigis. Actually the straps cover quite a bit.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 27/03/2017 22:22

sorry again that I missed Saturday, it sounds like it was a lot of fun. hopefully i'll be there next time

feeling fat frumpy and pretty deflated right now. Even though i've lost weight since last year, i'm still huge, the weight i lost was the extra i put on from being on steroids so i don't feel any smaller really. Feel like everything makes me look massive and like a big blob of fat Sad

libertydoddle · 27/03/2017 22:37

Thanks Stokey. I may order and try them then.

One what's happening? You have sounded so positive lately so it's really sad to hear you are feeling bad about yourself. Sending you hugs and Flowers.

DryWhiteagainW · 27/03/2017 22:37

Apologies for lack of round up from me.....just gushed at what a great bunch you all are.

But today it suddenly dawned on me that after many proseccos I unceremoniously finished off your green beans Mara with the promise of another portion for you and then cancelled the order.....soooo rude!

And Shop apologies if I invaded your personal space on the walk to the station but I just couldn't help it' I love you so much Grin

And when I said "pointy beaver whatever shoes" fashion term of course I was referring to Amber's "flat, Otter mules"

Such a funny day.

shopafrolic · 27/03/2017 23:20

You can invade my personal space anytime Dry
Hugs for you One you're a fighter
DH is stressed. It's so bloody draining. Not long till holiday at least.
I am still lusting after those gingham shoes I showed a few of you at the MU. But I don't know the brand. Amber was it you who said they have a store on the King's Rd? Bimba y Lola...

Damn! Just looked online and they are navy and white not black and white.

I have the SE Trinas as well. Mine are black. More dressy and more coverage than Gigis. I find them very comfortable. But I do not wear them very much. If I am dressing casually I prefer Gigis, and at work I like something more dressy and with a higher heel.

Also, the black around the sides chipped off after very light wear (but I had heard this would happen before I bought them).

My DD’s teacher has them and they look lovely on her.

These just arrived and they will replace some that are similar but worn out.

AmberNectarine · 28/03/2017 07:45

I said Westfield shop. They were lush shoes.

Wearing the otters to work today with a pair of slightly cropped, tapered pinstripe trousers with a high paper-bag waist from Zara and the red satiny, drapey H&M top I wore on Countdown. I predict a few hilarious comments from the men...

Everyonelovessparkles · 28/03/2017 09:45

Loving the round ups from the MU. So sorry I missed it. Hopefully next time....

Sorry to hear you are a bit down one but it sounds like you have done amazingly well with the weight loss so far so don't put yourself down. Flowers

I love those aquzarra shoes blingy.

Hope you enjoyed your newborn cuddles blair and that your sister is doing ok.

Sorry to hear about your DH shop. At least your holiday is soon and hopefully he can relax a little.

I'm loving these sunny spring days, it makes me want to break out the summer clothes! I'm soooooo over winter now, and my winter clothes.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 28/03/2017 11:15

thanks all, just having a rough time right now but it will pass as it always does. just not feeling the love for myself as i feel so huge and blob like, i know its a big thing to have lost the extra i put on because of the steroids but its not enough really as im still SO overweight. hopefully ill continue to lose though, fingers crossed

OOTD is a peach flamingo print skirt and a peach nirvana tee. feels springlike at least!

queencerulean · 28/03/2017 12:55

one sorry you're feeling so down. Hope it passes soon.

I want to look like this

Dreamqueen · 28/03/2017 13:30

QueenC the shoes Kate `Moss is wearing are the same as the ones Jude Law wears in The Young Pope. My latest binge watch box set. He's so good looking Smile

One sorry to read that you're not feeling great.

Impressive shopping Blingy love those sandals. Forgot to say how much I loved your dress.

MarshaBrady · 28/03/2017 18:32

I still really want to do my round up, so will be back later to do a proper post

But in the meantime I love my queenie shoes! Complete love. Such a nice colour, lifts all my oufits to Spring and so comfy and good to wear.

Very happy I kept them!

queencerulean · 28/03/2017 19:02

Crappy day. Dd is unwell again and on a second course of antibiotics. Dh and I are arguing over who will look after her tomorrow if she's still off school as we both have important things to do.

So, I'm trying to get dd to sleep and am fantasy shopping.

First off, for justa as it matches your blouse

queencerulean · 28/03/2017 19:03

for amber

queencerulean · 28/03/2017 19:13

pizza, anyone?

queencerulean · 28/03/2017 19:17

for amber

queencerulean · 28/03/2017 19:18

for marsha

Longislandicetee · 28/03/2017 20:51

Oh my god. £2k for the pizza dress!Shock

The strappy heels are lovely though.

So my NAP order arrived. The Aquazzura sandals are lovely. Can't wait to wear them. The sequinned top was scratchy. Sooo scratchy. And definitely didn't look like I had spent £900 on them!

So I am in a world of pain at the moment. I was putting my jewellery on yesterday when ds came along to distract me. I thought I left my blossom bracelet on the bed. I returned to the bed to finish putting it on. I can't find it. At all. Have turned my bedroom upside down looking for it when I got home and still can't find it.Sad

Those are of course expensive first world problems. Hope you're doing okay One. Sorry to hear about dd again QueenC

justasecond · 28/03/2017 22:31

Oh no blingy Shock Shock hope it turns up. My palms feel sweaty just thinking about it

one hope you feel better soon, sounds like you are going through a tough time Flowers
Lib thanks for the comptoir link. I ordered the long navy one, looks the right length and fit. The khaki one you tried is lovely. Ideally I would like beige but I am a bit desperate now. All my old lighter coats are fit for binning. Oh and thanks for the hair tips, sounds like its a lot more effort than my routine of head n shoulders and conditioner when I can be bothered!

btw Amber/shop the bimba and lola shop at westfield has closed down. The only other ones I have seen are on Kings Rd and Canary Wharf.
That bag perfectly matches my shirt queenc Hope your dd is better soon.
You are making me want queenie shoes too marsha!

libertydoddle · 29/03/2017 09:54

How is DD QueenC? Hope you got things sorted with DH.

One how are you feeling today?

I thought the long trench might work for you justa. Fingers crossed.

OOTD Toast midi denim skirt, kakhi short sleeve Uniqlo sweater, beige Jigsaw knitted biker. Am working from home. Added oversized orange Hobbs scarf and kakhi Puma suedes for the SR.

FedupNagging · 29/03/2017 10:27

One sorry you're not feeling too great at the moment-you've been so positive recently Flowers

Blingy Shock. Did the dog/cat/hamster eat it?!

Poor dd Queen - hope you got the childcare sorted.

Nice ootd Lib. Mine is h&m grey stretchy pencil skirt, uniqlo pink spotty silk shirt under French connection navy jumper, navy opaques and navy brogues.

Going back to open the links - am intrigued with the pizza Hmm

Everyonelovessparkles · 29/03/2017 11:01

I couldn't believe 2k for the pizza dress either blingy Shock Hope the bracelet turns up soon. Is it under the bed or did it catch on the top you were wearing?? Shame about the sparkley top but glad the lovely shoes are keepers. Smile

Nice OOTD lib very stylish for home working. Smile Whereas i'm slobbing in an old denim mini and hoody

Your OOTD sounds lovely too fedup

Hope the trench is a good fit when it arrives justa

How's the jeans hunt going shop? Have you found the style you were looking for? I've lost interest again. Why is jeans shopping so difficult when they're such a staple?? Confused

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 29/03/2017 11:34

i'm...okay, thanks for asking lib i've been better but i've been a lot worse so there's that. plus i see Ds at the weekend so i've got that to look forward to Smile

i'm not even dressed yet Blush still in my pjs because i'm waiting in for deliveries today and also slept in late as i had a bad night. totally letting the side down but i am very comfy!

Fairylane · 29/03/2017 12:19

The OOTDs all of you post always sound so inspiring.

I would so love to be as comfy as you One - remember, you have achieved an incredible lot recently, so it's quite normal that you stop amd have a minor wobble at this point....

Fedup, your navy brogues sound gorgeous. I am strangely addicted to navy atm.

Lib, are you an autumn?

Blingy, have faith, it will turn up. It's a trite suggestion, but have you tried a re-enactment of when you last had it?
