Join us to talk all things fashion and beauty. The clocks go forward next Sunday (who's bright idea was it to organise that on Mother's Day?!). Longer days and hopefully some sunshine - we're dying to get our ankles out.
All welcome :)

Brew and paracetamol required here too.

Happy Mother's Day Voguettes.

Dreamqueen · 26/03/2017 09:58

Happy Mothers Day to you lovely lot Flowers

My train was severly delayed on the way home by signal failure. So in hindsight I should have stayed longer & would have got home around the same time. Grin Congrats to the last women standing! very impressive, I'd have be face down by that time.

No headache but in need of solid food. Gin did its job. Thank you all again MNV

queencerulean · 26/03/2017 10:23

Morning . Great day apart from the whopping blisters on my feet. I had to walk from the train to the taxi rank with just 1 boot on as I couldn't bear the pain! So for the benefit of those who missed it, here's my round up....
mara swishy haired as always and loved the red Gucci bag. It has inspired me to get out my shoulder bags instead of always using a crossbody. Loved the equipment too too
justa looked gorgeous in dark colours. If you can rock black like that you must be a winter!
lib loved the new blouse and the shiny hair. You rock your autumn colours
blair as beautiful as ever, wish I could wear an off the shoulder top like you. Hope you get broody today Wink
dry looked totally gorgeous in her new blouse and if she can wear it to work with kids then I can wear my jaegar more often!
dream totally rocks cool frames and has the most gorgeous skin. I must drink more gin to look like her! And we'll done on the no smoking!
shop gorgeous thick hair and can totally rock smoky eyes. Loved the belt too.
lou another one with gorgeous swishy hair. Loved the cape thing you were wearing
blingy in full on bling. Still can't believe how heavy that ring is. Also gorgeously rocks primark and McQueen
marsha absolutely loved the peach colour on you and the boots (although was disappointed not to see the queen shoes)
amber totally rocks a bright red lip and total kudos to getting changed into a full new outfit at the table. Thank you for the jeans-I'll try them on later.

Longislandicetee · 26/03/2017 11:02

Morning! Happy Mother's Day to all of you especially Blair's sister and Blair's potentially twitcy ovaries when she meets that little ball of gorgeousness!!

I feel good! But everyone did have 2.5 hours head start on the prossecoGrin

Not much to add to QueenC's wonderful fashion round up except she looked lovely in her navy lace top. Also, I always have fashion envy when we meet up - usually something I could never wear well in a month of Sundays- and this time it was Mara's floral top (Equipment). Loved how she wore it casually with jeans.

Blair what was your bag? Can you link it?

When Lib Blair and I got up to leave it was like the meeting of the trench coats. The two of them in Burberry and I ruined it by wearing LK Bennett.Grin

As always really good chat on anything and everything! From work stuff with Lib and Blair to challenging times with kids with Sleep to scarves with justa. Oh plus Shop talking about chemises and sex and Marsha telling us to zip it cos there was a kid sat behind us 😂

Dh has taken the dcs out for a few hours to see an exhibition so I am weirdly alone for a few hours on mothers day....with my ipad and credit card!Wink

DryWhiteagainW · 26/03/2017 11:09

And i was just babbling on about any old crap really ..............

DryWhiteagainW · 26/03/2017 11:10

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 26/03/2017 11:50

Morning! :) sorry to hear of the sore heads, but what a fab day we had! Thanks QueenC for organising, the private room absolutely made it, despite the trek to the loos!

Everyone looked fantastic - you would not find a more stylish group in London yesterday Grin
Blingy looked gorgeous in her stunning McQueen dress - shame about the coat Wink
Lib had very cool straight hair, she's very lucky to have hair that looks good straight and curly.
justa did look fab in black and I also loved the heart print shirt but forgot to ask where it was from!
Total bag envy with Mara's Gucci and I loved hearing about your job.
QueenC looked the epitome of natural ingenue in a navy lace blouse (what else) and with the cute Coach bag.
Dream was super tanned and always has the best glasses!
shop was uber cool rock chick as usual with the best hair (so long!)
sleep had fab hair too and very cute doggy pics
Amber wore the amazing Otter shoes and performed amazing feats at the table Grin she also identified my top as one she tried on in black several years ago... so vogue!
Marsha had fab red boots on, I want a pair now.
and Dry's blouse was the high street hit of the day!

One, Stokey, everyone, kitty, Bernice and Linus were all much missed.

Blingy my bag (not Gucci hehe) is this with this strap which is sold out now but Accessorize have loads here.

That's rubbish about your train Dream, how annoying.

Back later with baby pics!

kittyhello · 26/03/2017 12:32

Loving the round ups and very Envy I wasn't there.

FedupNagging · 26/03/2017 17:46

Great roundups - love to hear what everyone was wearing and glad you had a good time.

Am super impressed, yet not surprised, with Amber and her outfit change technique.

Blair have you seen your dn yet? Are you broody yet? Wink no pressure from the mnv crowd AT ALL

Dry hope you found KX ok without me Grin

I didn't manage to find an outfit for the party last night so wore old faithful boden sparkly crops, black lace top and SE heels.

I did however buy this top - did someone say it's a bloggers favourite?

shopafrolic · 26/03/2017 18:31

I am scared to do a round up as I know I will forget people - and frankly I didn't look enough at what everyone was wearing because most of you were already there when I arrived and I was too busy drinking and chatting
Things I remember in my drunken haze....
Dream fab skin, fab glasses, fab lipstick, fab company, (thanks for trying to keep me hydrated!), fab Ganni dress
Lib I couldn't place what was different about you - it was the hair, really good.......and such a gorgeous blouse.
Mara those gorgeous shoes and fab bag, that blouse is such a great print for you. Perfect.
Dry gorgeous blouse, so glad to have you to head back to the station with. Looking fabulous as always.
QueenC - lovely blouse but I really loved your boots - although they clearly didn't love you - ouch
Blingy the perfect dress - such fun chats as always (sorry for inappropriate loudness - felt so sorry for the other table....). And good to know I still make ridiculously expensive jewellery look shit Grin
Blair hope you have had a lovely time meeting your DN today - I loved your white top - so good on you, and our Stans :)
Marsha the boots, nuff said. Fab as always bud. Don't be late next time - I can't cope.
Justa I loved your top too and yes to thinking you are a Winter (didn't we discuss that at a previous MU?) So good to catch up.
Amber thanks for the tee. Loved your striped top with the red lipstick - and kudos for the outfit change. How was CD? "All over ya?"
Sleep hope pup was well looked after in your absence. Loved your blanket - was that the Anna one? Fab.
Who have I missed?

So good to catch up - thanks again for organising QueenC. I thought I might never drink again but then DH opened champagne at lunchtime...... will have to have a dry week. Yeah right I hear you all say!

libertydoddle · 26/03/2017 18:34

Nice top fedup. Perfect for a summer MU.

I had a great time yesterday, always feels like 8 hours fly by and i still haven't caught up with everyone as much as i would like to. Everyone looked great. Like Blingy i leave MU's wanting to try lots of new things. Such as Nars lippy (justa), Gucci bag (mara and dry), gingham (amber in outfit no. 2), a bit of McQueen (Blingy), and most of all i want a tennis bracelet like the totally fabulous one dream had.

I've cracked and had a glass of wine #hairofthedog...

Did you buy anything today Blingy?

libertydoddle · 26/03/2017 18:39

Cross post shop. Excellent effort on the full round up Grin

AmberNectarine · 26/03/2017 21:10

One day, I will school you all in the ancient ways of performing a full outfit change at the table.

Craig was epic, one of the best live performances I've seen. Was absolutely shitfaced when we got in; woke up naked in DS's toddler bed (he was at my parents', don't worry). Apparently I stropped off in there because, if you can believe it, DH did not want to have sex with me in that state. How unreasonable of him!

Was lovely to see you all - all looking fabulous as ever. Apologies for whatever old shit I was spouting!

Longislandicetee · 26/03/2017 21:29

Shop you can never be inappropriate with me babeWink

Dry and Amber definitely no shit spouted! Oh and Amber, you and MrAmber...so funny! Dh was knackered on Friday so that was a write off and he took one look at tipsy me and wrote off last night too. I did however stay in our bed.Grin

Lib, yes I spent £2kBlush....

I got these Aquazurra suede sandalss and Dolce & Gabbana sequinned topp from NAP.

Then lingerie...back with another post when I find the links.

Longislandicetee · 26/03/2017 21:42

Lingerie links...

Adina Reay plunge bra with matching knickers and I also got it in blue which I think I prefer.

I also went into town and after a frustrating walk around Marks & Spencer's I got this Rosie set but I realise I picked up the wrong size!

There were a few non-lingerie things I liked in marks but they never have my size so I ended up buying stuff for dd instead.Hmm

libertydoddle · 27/03/2017 09:20

Amber I'd like to point out that I provided helpful instructions on getting your t-shirt off Wink. Am laughing at mental image of you in a sex deprived strop!

LOVE those sandals Blingy - you getting into flats and block heels could be dangerous for me. I used to just sigh at your heels links, now I'm going 'maybe'....

In PJ's, posting between teleconferences this morning. Have meeting later so have to get dressed at some point - new loafers are very comfy and will be the starting point in outfit planning.

Hope you all have lovely Mondays!

Stokey · 27/03/2017 13:21

So sorry I missed it - will definitely try and do better next time and am always up for a cheeky evening mini MU

Sounds like ti was great fun as always, & kudos to the last women standing.

Baby looks adorable Blair, many congratulations

That was the top I was eyeing up Fedup. I saw a photo of The Fashion Lift (used to be school run mums or something like that) wearing it with dungarees. Looked great.

libertydoddle · 27/03/2017 17:48

Has anyone got Sam Edelman Trina sandals? Are they comfortable?

maradesbois · 27/03/2017 19:08

Hello,

It was indeed a great mu, felt so bad for those poor people they foisted on us at the end though. Loved reading the roundups, my fave comment of the day was Dry's 'pointy beaver whatever shoes' Grin. Also very nearly ordered myself a neutral half moon bag yesterday but remembered justa's words of wisdom 'very difficult to get your fingers inside' in time! Still tempted though despite my limitations (big hands).

Had a lovely Mother's Day yesterday, fab lunch, lots of champagne and a tour of the kitchen, dh did very well!

Feels lovely and springlike with the hour change, so tempted to buy summer clothes, am currently debating a purchase from Vivetta, will link if I go ahead.

Blingy love the Aquazzura sandals. They are a rare crossover point for us!

justasecond · 27/03/2017 19:58

Hi all
It was so good to meet up with all you lovely ladies again. I feel very lucky to have you all as friends.
A quick round up:
Dry looked totally gorgeous in a white broderie top
Mara so jealous of your bag and loved the equipment top
Lib I love your hair straight (you must give me some tips on taming mine) the colour of your top looked so good on you
Blair looked beautiful in a simple boat neck top and glowing skin
Dream I love your look, so chic
Amber I was sitting opposite you and didn't even notice the full outfit change! Loved your otter/lobster shoes
Shop looked gorgeous in a red and white top. I love your hair longer
Blingy looked amazing in a Mcqueen dress. I am kicking myself for not checking out your bling!
queenc gorgeous in navy thanks so much for organising Flowers
Marsha love your red boots and I'm in total awe of your talent
Sleep has lovely hair and a very cute puppy! so nice to meet you for the first time.

justasecond · 27/03/2017 20:12

lib I used to have the sam edelman trina sandals but ebayed them after one wear. I thought I had got over my foot phobia but it was just too much foot exposure for me (Marsha understands) Blush
The one time I wore them they were comfortable though Blush

Mara Don't let me and my big hands put you off! I still think its a great bag and don't regret buying it for a second

justasecond · 27/03/2017 20:15

The sun coming out has reminded me I have a big trench coat shaped hole in my wardrobe. Not sure I can stretch to Apc at the moment. Anyone seen any decent ones on the high st? max £300 ish

libertydoddle · 27/03/2017 20:20

Hmmmm, I don't have a foot phobia but the exposure comment has made me look at them again...they probably don't have enough foot cover for daily wear in London.

Justa my hair needs a lot of work to straighten it! Saturday involved a hair mask pre washing, lots of conditioner, mousse and oil and a frizz serum and about 40 mins blowdrying and straighteners. I love it straight though and all the positive comments from Saturday are persuading me to try a nanokeratin/Brazilian blowdry treatment - I think I'll book one for sometime in the next couple of weeks.

libertydoddle · 27/03/2017 20:22

I tried this Comptoir trench the other day Justa and really liked it. They also have a couple of longer ones.
