Join us to talk all things fashion and beauty. The clocks go forward next Sunday (who's bright idea was it to organise that on Mother's Day?!). Longer days and hopefully some sunshine - we're dying to get our ankles out.
All welcome :)

amber can you pm me the time so I can record it? I'm trying to remember when I last came home at 8.30am Shock

I have done something wierd to myself, my right calf is very painful and cramped, right knee feels like it will give on stairs, lower back very tender and my neck hurts. I can walk and it helps to move but lots of different movements hurt. I can't drive as I can't break hard with pain in calf and knee. No idea what I have done....going to see if I can get emergency appointment with DH's chiropractor or physio tomorrow morning.

AmberNectarine · 01/05/2017 12:05

I haven't come home from a night at 8.30pm in living memory! I'm lucky enough to only need about 4h sleep to function normally, so I was up and about by 1pm. The tiredness was less of an issue than the epic hangover.

BerniceBobsHerHair · 01/05/2017 12:48

Amber am impressed! I don't normally get a lie in until 8.30am let alone a night out Grin

Lib that sounds awful and very debilitating - I hope you get an appointment soon. Osteopath is also an option if you have any near you?

I was inspired by this instagram for my OOTD - Frilly shirt, dungarees and vans.

libertydoddle · 01/05/2017 14:39

I did lots of all nighters in my 20's. I used to work in a bar in a music venue so worked until 3am and then the staff night would start!

Bernice the pain in my calf is freaking me out as my cousin died at my age from a PE and he had severe calf pain for a couple of weeks beforehand. I rang 111 and they told me to get urgent apt with GP tomorrow. I have been out for a couple of short walks to keep moving but am limping.

libertydoddle · 01/05/2017 14:41

But am maintaining OOTD standards!!! Wearing CE Fling green cords with Jigsaw cream and kakhi long sleeve stripe top, kakhi Puma Suedes.

Bloomed · 01/05/2017 15:26

Everyone it isn't until end of month so hopefully I will be able to revamp my face/confidence.
Thank you for the jumpsuit intel Blingy I'll be wearing my highest heels so may not need to shorten.
I hope you get the all clear liberty

Longislandicetee · 01/05/2017 16:10

Afternoon! We are almost home. Great time but i am totally shattered! Need a holiday from the holiday!

Lib hope this clears up soon Flowers

Bloomed hope the outfit works out for you!

Dreamqueen · 01/05/2017 17:30

Memo to self: stop online shopping! just bought these sunglasses and this kaftan and this sweatshirt plus a few other items. Also bought these old lady sandals for my hols.Grin I also rebought the navy marc jacobs sunglasses that I linked last week. I gave the original ones to my DIL, she's on hols now.

I think the only other gaps in my wardrobe are tan ankle boots (I'd really like ones similar to pistols) & a navy blazer. Then I'll put credit card away for a while.

shopafrolic · 01/05/2017 17:58

Dream what size feet are you?

OP posts:
Dreamqueen · 01/05/2017 18:28

shopafrolic · 01/05/2017 18:57

Can't wait to see pic of boots on Shop

Back from yoga & I can't be bothered to change into "real" clothes so sporting the Athleisure look today. Primark hoodie, H&M vest & George at Asda leggings Smile top of the range outfit today. lol

libertydoddle · 02/05/2017 16:38

Looking forward to hearing the boots verdict Shop.

I'm ok - saw GP and just a pulled muscle thankfully - not as sore as it was which is a relief. Have been for a couple of walks today and I can feel it improving even though I'm still limping.

Also all my blood tests came back and everything fine there so it seems my tiredness is down to stress. I'm glad there is nothing physically wrong but also means I need to change lifestyle which is probably harder that just popping some vitamins Confused

OOTD M&S leather skirt with this Jigsaw top which I rediscovered in my mad spreadsheeting last week. Puma suedes and trench coat when venturing outdoors (have been working from home today).

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 02/05/2017 17:11

Ouch Lib glad it's just a pulled muscle, hope it eases soon Flowers

DH was injured at the weekend... Hmm BIL's 40th so the "boys" went karting, someone smashed into his side. He had a hosp appt today anyway, so popped into A&E as he's been in lots of pain, but it seems all is ok and no cracked ribs. Aside from that drama we went to the birthday BBQ on Sunday, food was incredible. Weather was not so great so I wore skinnies and a silk shirt with Heattech underneath, plus Gucci belt.

Blingy your weekend sounds fun, but omg at having to put bling in jeans pocket to swing across a lake!! Shock

Back later, might do a bit more on the spreadsheet...

PS - does anyone have the Grazia warehouse code please?

AmberNectarine · 02/05/2017 18:18

Well blair, I'm going karting tomorrow (only girl among 17 boys) - I'm now not filled with confidence...

DryWhiteagainW · 02/05/2017 20:22

Bought this blouse today. Looks great with my dark wash Paige Jimmies and heels .....my next go to going out outfit.

Bought some other bits, still haven't mastered the multi links, this may take some time Smile

DryWhiteagainW · 02/05/2017 20:45

And these . Really love these but suspect they might be a bit small as my size wasn't in stock so ordered smaller hopeful

DryWhiteagainW · 02/05/2017 20:46

Good grief my links are terrible

DryWhiteagainW · 02/05/2017 20:49

Oh and I was paid a lovely compliment by a colleague today....still buzzing. She said out of everyone at our work place I had the best wardrobe actually more of an insult to my other work mates, but I'll take the compliment ....... Funnily enough I covet her wardrobe cue mutual fashion love in Grin

shopafrolic · 02/05/2017 21:32

Dream there are pics of the boots on me somewhere up thread.
Still haven't opened the box - will have a try on tomorrow when DH back at office.

The last week has been a daze of jet lag and I'm still not convinced I'm over it! I was going to attempt the spreadsheet at the weekend and then when I really thought about it, I realised that I just couldn't be arsed Grin

DryWhiteagainW · 02/05/2017 22:36

Both embroidered shoes going back.......espadrilles too small, others got general thumbs down which saves me £89 always a silver lining
