Join us to talk all things fashion and beauty. The clocks go forward next Sunday (who's bright idea was it to organise that on Mother's Day?!). Longer days and hopefully some sunshine - we're dying to get our ankles out.
All welcome :)

I also tried these boots which were just amazingly fabulous and made me feel sooooo happy - but where the hell would i wear them?
Loved this navy sweat
I tried this sweater which was lovely and had snuggly long arms but not a strong enough colour for me.
Think I may well get this one next month

Lovely links Shop, and sounds like you had a terrific time! Makes me all nostalgic to see my uni mates again. I missed our Christmas get together as that's when i fell sick.

Dh has taken the dcs out for a cycle ride so i am having a cup of tea, mooch around the newspaper websites and Mumsnet in our sitting room which faces out into the garden. Lovely. OOTD is sort of a repeat of yesterday (little imagination!) - j crew plaid shirt under a cream sweater, j crew matchstick jeans with yesterday's bling. When i went out earlier, i had my Aquazzura grey boucle flats and my Mulberry Bayswater in moleskin. My hair is up in a ponytail though so i look about 15.Grin

Everyone, i prefer straight jeans so my 2 favourites are toothpick which are fitted through hip and thigh with a super skinny ankle length leg. The other matchstick. They don't appear to do these anymore but these sit on the hips and are slim through hip and thigh, with a slim, straight leg. Through being inactive with the sickness i (very annoyingly!) put on the a few pounds so I have been sticking with the matchstick recently as i don't want the toothpick cutting off blood supply.Grin

Love the grey suede boots shop and the punk t shirt, but I don't have the arms for it Sad

shopafrolic · 23/04/2017 14:24

You always look about 15 Novice Grin Outfit sounds lovely.
Happy those are not grey - oh no!! They are the silver glittery lured of dreams! Smile

Does the glitter come off those boots Shop? I occasionally look in my 20s!

Dreamqueen · 23/04/2017 15:19

Been out for lunch. Wire Bioden riches black skirt, Led Zeppelin black t shirt, pistols and black Massimo Dutti blazer. Love this young person outfit Grin

Will catch up when I'm sober Enti read!

Dreamqueen · 23/04/2017 15:46

I'm home and not trying to type in the car and realise that my last post makes no sense whatever. Hangs head in shame Blush

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 23/04/2017 15:51

Dream Grin

shop I love my Stories chelsea boots! They are fab. Love the ones you got.

I am making a spreadsheet of my wardrobe. So far from memory and Pinterest, I've listed 174 clothing items Blush. But I just had a charity clear out!!

Longislandicetee · 23/04/2017 16:01

It kind of made sense DreamGrin

I feel your pain Blair...I really need another declutter!

libertydoddle · 23/04/2017 16:35

So funny dream!!

Why a spreadsheet Blair? What are you hoping it will tell you? Smile

queencerulean · 23/04/2017 17:00

I'm back!!! Did you miss me Wink

Far too much to catch up on so I'm not even going to try Grin. Managed to do some shopping whilst away but will link later as at the moment I'm drowning in washing/unpacking/jet lag.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 23/04/2017 17:33

Hope you had a fab time QueenC, the pics looked great!

Lib I thought it might help me to clarify what I like and don't like about each item. And just to be able to see it in one place, which I can't really do on Pin or real life as everything is too spread out. And to convince me that I really do not need any more clothes!!

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 23/04/2017 18:58

i just had another clear out for charity and dp joined in as well, together we filled 3 and a half large bin bags for charity and took them off to be donated this afternoon. still have loads of clothes though, no fear i'll run out any time soon!

libertydoddle · 23/04/2017 19:09

Welcome back QueenC. We did miss you.

I'll be really interested to hear how it works Blair. I have loads of clothes too and yet still feel there are gaps or that i am not making the most of what i have.

Good clear out one!

shopafrolic · 23/04/2017 20:51

Love you and your spreadsheets Blair Smile Which Chelsea boots do you have then? I must have missed it? LOVED the snakeskin ones and the leather was so soft but only left in a 36.
Welcome back QueenC your pics looked such fun.
Lovely day catching up with friends at a local country boozer. Hangover helped by a glass of white wine and a three course meal.

Dream you nutter I never post random words

Spent the day at a soa with my girlfriends yesterday. Fab fab fab. Did an exercise class called "clubersize in the dark with glow stick, shop* you'd have been proud of me! Went a bit nuts think I poked a woman with my glow stick!! so warm we had to get out of the hut tub and sit in our cosies....in England Shock in April Shock!!!

Amber you have made me happy. My crappy local TS doesn't stock Baxters, thought they'd been discontinued. runs off to order

queencerulean · 23/04/2017 21:15

After about 1000 loads of washing, I'm finally done!

I spent quite a lot of money as I got carried away in Sephora. I bought Nars orgasm blusher which looked amazing when I tried it on, brushes and a Dior lipstick and benefit mascara recommended by my cousin. I fell in love with this scarf-love holidays as I would never have spent this much on a scarf normally but it doesn't feel real on holiday! And I don't need any new jeans for a long time-I bought a pair in BR and 2 pairs in Levi (I only bought the 2nd pair as there was an offer on so it made much more sense to spend a little bit more Wink).

I really feel like I have more than enough clothes now so I'm intending on not buying anything else this season except for some grey ballet flats.

happypoobum · 23/04/2017 21:21

QUEEN was it the "They're Real" mascara?

I use it and it's great. I have to use micellar water to get it off though Smile

blair ooh I think I might do a spreadsheet!!

queencerulean · 23/04/2017 21:25

Just remembered that I also bought 2 dresses in uniqlo although can't seem to get onto their website at the moment to link. I tried on lots of Tory Burch shoes as I love them online but in reality they didn't look good on me. I think the vamp was too high and too much toe cleavage. I wish I'd needed a new bag as Michael Kors was incredibly cheap.

queencerulean · 23/04/2017 21:25

Yes, it was happy

libertydoddle · 24/04/2017 16:58

QueenC i have tried Tory Burch shoes a few times and they didn't work for me either.

Waiting for spreadsheet updates Blair and happy Grin

I'm pitching for an industry awards tomorrow... Trying to decide what to wear...

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 24/04/2017 17:36

i wonder if maybe i should do a spreadsheet! seriously though, it might help me start wearing things that often end up neglected because i forget ive got them.something to ponder at least

it's Ds's 13th birthday this week! 13!! i can't believe my baby is going to be a teenager. makes me feel ancient truth told. having a big family lunch for him at the weekend and we are staying up north for the whole weekend to fit in seeing other people as well, might as well fi we are travelling up anyway.

shopafrolic · 24/04/2017 20:02

Evening all. Wearing my new Trinny pink sweatshirt from Stories - love it. Such a happy colour,
My friend came over with her kids for a play date. She has a fab navy cashmere sweater with rainbow striped sleeves from Wyse London and beautiful white Gucci trainers with the navy and red stripe, she had taken out the laces and replaced them with these fab elastic laces so no messy bows - looked great.

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 24/04/2017 20:19

good for kids who can't tie their laces so easily too.
