kwick looks awful and so stressful. Don't know how you're coping 😂😉

Iris65 · 01/06/2017 20:50

Inspired this thread I cut the top off a squeezy tube of conditioner today - at least two more applications left! I was really pleased!

Iris65 · 01/06/2017 20:52

I have also pledged not to buy any more face moisturiser until I use up the dozen bottles (various brands) that I already have!

Iris65 · 01/06/2017 20:57

Summer 5 list:
Simple face moisturiser
Aussie Miracle Moist shampoo (medium bottle)
Eau Thermale Cleanser
Eau Thermale Body wash
Umberto Gianni Conditioner

I seem to be on a roll, this morning the Clarins hydra quench mask is done, along with Soap and Glory sugar scrub - used the final remnants of both on the back of my hands - I may do this weekly they are now lovely and soft!!! Also finished the Nip and Fab Dragons Blood pads - I will not repurchase I don't really "get" what they did.

lifeistooshort · 02/06/2017 12:10

Wow great work everyone!

So excited today as my products have arrived from Korea so I am no longer without moisturizer....but I now have more products to finish!!! So Treeball don't feel too bad, you are not the only one purchasing loads! But why three moisturisers?

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 02/06/2017 21:22

All 5 gone! Phew.
Trying hard to use up gold eyeshadow as body shimmer and working well! Better than eyeshadow anyway!

applesandpears33 · 02/06/2017 22:48

Another empty today - Clinique almost make-up. They stopped making it years ago so it was probably ancient.

kwick · 03/06/2017 11:15

I have an empty!

  • Nuxe 50 spf melting cream high protection for the face: ok - at least was not a diabolical taste when melted into my mouth Confused

Have discovered the wonder of putting honey onto skin - has really helped with a heat rash.

Great work on the empties... I may have had a bit of a relapse whilst on holiday in Spain...

Empty #4, Salt/Sugar/Oil body scrub, smelt amazing (the bathroom was scented all day after using it) but sadly can't replace as was a gift from South Africa

Nearly finished my body lotion and a handcream (should be gone by Monday Smile)

kwick · 03/06/2017 13:59

Another empty!

  • Clarins hydra-essentiel creme desalterante spf 15: just a sample size - went on well

kwick · 03/06/2017 18:30

Another empty!

  • Phyto pytopanama oily scalp shampoo: very watery, ok but too expensive to repeat

Hi all! Loving the long lists of empties!

I'm back from Bali and symphatize with Kwick - one's resistance is down during travels. Asian airports and pharmacies were my undoing. I bought lots of lovely sheet masks (My Beauty Diary Mandelic acid and Innisfree among others) and body butters and lotions. They were very inexpensive and smelled lovely. Found some Bioré sunscreen as well. No makeup except a 60-cent navy polish for my toenails (had forgotten to pack some). Of course I overdid it but cosmetics and edible stuff Pocky stick heaven are the best souvenirs for me. And how could I resist matcha milk body butter that smells heavenly and is quickly absorbed...

The retreat I stayed at was also amazing. I feel refreshed inside and outside. I also had time to hike through lots of villages and met a lot of local people and learned a little about their life that way.

But it's great to be back home. And I'm very sad to hear about what happened in London Sad

kwick · 04/06/2017 11:58

Welcome back @FrustratedFrugal!!! Glad you had a great trip.
I am on my way home now - having stayed at my mums last night.
Your haul sounds amazing!!! yes I am an enabler

So what did you get Kwick?

ememem84 · 04/06/2017 18:18

stop enabling

I'm getting closer to an empty. I reckon another week and I'll be done with my eye make up remover.

Strawberryfield12 · 04/06/2017 21:06

Finished the number 2 of 5bysummer - Phyto specific boosting spray for hair. Can't think about anything else it did for me apart from making hair going greasy twice as quick. Should have No 3 done the next time I go to bath.

d270r0 · 04/06/2017 21:16

I have been on holiday for a few days and using full travel items instead of my summer 5, so no empties apart from a meramuya iconic youth serum sample I used the day before holiday. I hated the smell.

kwick · 05/06/2017 07:47

My holiday haul contained:

  • Ecran lemonoil suntan lotion, 30 spf spray (which is already half used), 50 spf (for next holiday) and face creams both 50 spf
  • Ecran aftersun spray (already started) and cream - which is a fab every day body lotion
  • Carrefour serum - cheap as chips and lovely on the skin
  • some eye creams - again really cheap, no idea how they will fair but must be better than Korres Black Pine one which brought me out in sores around the eye! (Have passed on to SIL - may not have same effect on her)
  • some well cheap ampoules
  • a new hairbrush

Oh and some Freedom mascara and eye primer - again well cheap (see the theme) and work really well. Apparently this brand is from London... anyone heard of it?

I am desperate for the new Loreal Lash Paradise mascara to be released here - Tati is raving about it
Also have agreed with myself to purchase Bare Minerals tinted moisturiser if I see on my travels thus week - my current Body Shop number is running out.

Am not making much progress on my 5 for summer - I may need an extension...

OP posts:
ememem84 · 05/06/2017 08:19

kwick I'm not making much progress on my 5. On other things yes. But not my 5. Sigh. And I'm trying super hard.

curragh · 05/06/2017 08:35
  1. Burts Bees Almond Milk Handcream - far too greasy imo, used it up as a foot cream.

Frustrated your holiday sounds amazing.

mintmagnummm · 05/06/2017 09:38

Kwick you might want to try a sample of that tinted moisturiser first (if you haven't already) because I thought it was awful!

lifeistooshort · 05/06/2017 10:25

Hi everyone, any recommendations from a Vit C serum? I have nearly finished my Oz natural serum and to be honest I wasn't won over. I didn't really notice any difference using it. No looking for the next best thing and would appreciate your expert views.
