I modelled for my stylist, he wanted to play with colour on a blond - one way to rock my 40th in style
What do you think? My 17 yo DD was not complementary.

Haha @DragonNoodleCake !!! What ever makes you happy 😊

I have an empty:

  • Yves Rocher orange blossom-lavender-petit grain eau de toilette 20ml: ok but not ny favourite orange blossom scent. Still working through matching shower gel and body lotion.

I am chucking a Magnesium Oil spray which is out of date. What a waste of money... barely used 😡

Have finished my lovely but so bored of OGX coconut conditioner and will start on a Raspberry one tomorrow - really looking forward to the change of scent.

Also have managed to get my hands on SoaperDuper Lemon body wash and the body butter - was after the Tuberose one but beggars can't be choosers - it will stay firmly closed till the boring camomile one is finished - hopefully monday!!!

littlepooch · 25/05/2017 19:54

Ooh I have 2 empties to report - both off my five for summer.

Atlas silk handcream - ok nothing special.
Liz Earle super skin face oil - smelt amazing but don't think it actually did anything!

The other 3 things are going to be harder to crack.

littlepooch · 25/05/2017 19:54

Ps. I really want to try that soaper duper stuff!

pepperrabbit · 25/05/2017 21:21

I love that multi layered colour look dragon, is it temporary? Great for a party Smile
I have no empties but am very close on my make up remover and toner so spent a happy half an hour in Superdrug pondering my next purchases to replace them. I like the idea of micellar water having ever tried it before.

CantChoose · 25/05/2017 21:21

I have sinned Blush
I bought these with the o2 voucher code. Only £8. Plus delivery...
I just couldn't stop myself. Oops.

Whoop whoop I am on track to my 5 for summer. I have just finsied

  • the mixed chick leave in conditioners - was ok but not my favourite
  • my ladykin vanpir water pack - loved that one but have now ordered some mizon snail as really wanted to try. I am desperate for it to arrive though as I have no face cream left in the meantime !!!

Littlepooch Ilove the fact that you are stealing your husband's eye cream and the very logical justification for buying the moisturizer. That is definitely the sort of thing I would do :-)

Frugal your comment "even my moisturizer will be gone in a year" made me laugh. Whatever will you do ? (we all know the answer to that)

kwick · 26/05/2017 16:42

@CantChoose you are forgiven!! Colours look amazeballs!!!

Great work!!!

I am way behind on my #5 for summer list.... need to regroup

pasturesgreen · 26/05/2017 17:48

Making progress on my 5 for summer! This week I've finished:

  • Clinique smart serum
  • The Body Shop instablur primer

Working on the other three.

Have also used up a couple of random sample sachets and a mini Dior curl mascara that was a gift with purchase, not too keen on the wand so I'm glad to be going back to my trusty Clinique high impact.

CantChoose · 26/05/2017 21:19

Thanks @kwik there's a couple of colours I wouldn't normally choose but that's half the fun with a set isn't it :)
Its not coming until Tuesday even though I paid next day delivery - I guess because if the bank holiday, so I've just painted mine. A light grey. A smidge out of my comfort zone but I like it.

Tablefor4 · 26/05/2017 21:44

DragonNoodle. Well I love it. I've been eyeing up pink streaks myself.

Mini empties:
kiehl sample: buckthorn body lotion. Funny smell, but a hundred years old.
Conditioner from recent hair dye

On the downside, I spent too much money on No 7 today, so got a Boots beauty box with all sorts of things in...

BigStripeyBastard · 27/05/2017 10:04

pasturesgreen what do you think of the Clinique Smart Serum? I've just started a 10ml trial size.

CantChoose · 27/05/2017 11:16

table I'm holding you responsible for my just-purchased boots haul. I'm not sure if this thread is helpful or a hinderance Grin
I only went on for a no7 top coat. Came away with an Essie one, Essie free gift, smashbox primer (prev HG for me, nearly at the end of a porefessional I tried for a change but I'm not keen), smashbox CC (been after trying something like this for ages but was drawn in my the buy two products offer Blush), the smashbox free gift (they've mysteriously added two to the basket so fingers crossed) and the boots beauty box. Oops.
Not even any empties to report. I replaced my razor today... clutches at straws

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 27/05/2017 11:40

Ooh boots box you say.....
Although I got a box with essentuals order and most went to school fayre as pamper prize as most are things I would react to
Love the hair dragon. I've done hair chalk before and adore the effect. Def the way to rock a big birthday. GO for it table.
On an argh note the body shop have brought virgin mojito range back. My fave ever summer scent so will need to stop in there to stock up. I've been buying off eBay to feed my addiction so really just a saving scheme. Right?!?

CantChoose · 27/05/2017 12:23

Haha another, don't do it! Move away from the internet. I couldn't save myself but it's not too late for you Grin

CantChoose · 27/05/2017 12:24

Ive used the virgin mojito body butter this morning from my stash. We have very similar shopping habits! I do worry that work colleagues will notice and think I've been on the booze...

Tablefor4 · 27/05/2017 16:17

My pleasure can't 😉

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 27/05/2017 16:37

Too late cant. It's 30% off man!

ABeaverAteMyThumb · 27/05/2017 18:05

I've finished an ancient sanctuary body lotion. I'd had to for ages and it wasn't getting used up, so I put it in an old body shop pump dispenser and I actually used it up!

Does anyone else feel that some packaging is just not nice to use?

Strawberryfield12 · 27/05/2017 20:58

Yes, definitely Beaver! Remember having Malin&Goetz moisturiser in absolutely awkward bottle I couldn't squeeze anything out. You would think companies are giving people testers to encourage future purchases, but that one? Why would anybody buy product they struggled to get out of the bottle.

Have used Espa optimal skin promoisturiser 30 ml tube (again not on my 5bysummer!). I start to warm up to their products. Have opened Weleda skin food small tube and tried it this evening. Happened to use face oil before and now it feels like I am covered in grease.

kwick · 28/05/2017 15:49

@AnotherPinkiePieStory if it is cheaper now than on ebay then: buy, buy, buy!!!! yes I am an enabler

I have so far bought quite a few goodies!!! But everything well cheap and needed Grin

OP posts:
kwick · 28/05/2017 15:50

So far - as I am on hols in Spain...

OP posts:
curragh · 28/05/2017 22:08

Enjoy the hols Kwick Smile

Empty to report and even better it's the first of my 5 by midsummer

  1. Clarins Foot cream. Bit meh, was a gift 4 years ago and wouldn't repurchase. Just seemed like an ordinary body lotion

Have a Burts Bees Almond milk hand cream - too greasy for daytime use - to use on my hooves next.
