Happy to report the Massimo Dutti shoes are a keeper, along with leopard cuff and SE Gigis, apart from the MDshoes all my buys are sales purchases. I need to be more vigilant in stalking my items!

Lib I am joining you in renouncing online shopping. Dhl didn't come, am so pissed off, cancelled my afternoon plans to wait in, have only been out of the house for 10 mins all day to go to the post office and all for a bloody pair of shoes that don't fit. Just fired off a complaint about dhl to NAP Christmas customer service as was getting nowhere with them. Grrrrr. Dh is out a Christmas party so don't even have my Friday night champagne, can't drink on my own seems a bit weird and not fun.

I went into London today for a couple of Christmas parties. One was to see my PA to give her my present, hopefully she likes! She was very sweet and fussing over me. It's exhausting though!

I am feeling very curious, dh has been asking me questions, from which I have deduced that he doesn't want me to spend on a particular credit card because he's used it for my present. My imagination is running away with me because the only thing I want for Christmas is an Apple Mac of some sort. Sorry QueenC, it's not keeping with the fantasy present theme!

Well, the good news is I don't have a cold anymore. The bad news is I am now in bed with the stomach flu.

I woke up last night feeling terrible, thank god DH came back from his trip (at 2.30 am) in time to do the school run today. And he's taken them out for dinner to give me a bit of peace and quiet.

I hope it's a 24 bug and I will be ok to travel on Sunday.

I have only quickly skimmed the thread but funnily enough, even with a fever and feeling nauseous as hell, the only thing I could think about when I read that dry thinks I'm an Autumn is "Nooooo, I am not"

Ok, going to try and rest a bit more.

I was on the online banking the other day and started exclaiming about DH's credit card balance (he pays it off in full every month) and he practically slammed the MacBook shut on my hands. Either he's housing a mistress or he's done well this year!

Great night seeing my very favourite band. So awesome! Wore band tee over black mini dress, fishnets and studded &OS ankle boots.

speaking of gifts, i was on skype the other night with DP and asked him what the 'funny shape int he background on the desk' was and he immediately exclaimed, 'something you aren't meant to see! nothing gets past you does it?!' it's okay though because i don't have a clue what it is, it just really amused me

really struggling to sleep, have been all week. i got more sleep last night than the previous three nights all together though so i feel somewhat more human now even though i am up at 6am

Feeling very tired this morning, but there's no activity this morning just a party, to which Dh is going to take them. I will pack while they're out. My housekeeper has had a first go, but somehow they never seem to get it right.

Speaking of dh, I have got him shoes, a top and cologne - oh and boxers and socks.

I know what DH is getting me for Christmas. I do do a pinterest board, but he would then have to liaise with all my family members to find out what they hadn't bought. So he is giving me the sunglasses I got recently and a pair of peridot studs, which I have left him to choose. I don't really mind as long as he puts some effort in, because I am so fussy. He does all his family's presents so it's not that he is useless.

I bought this gold leather miniskirt to wear over Christmas with my star Tippi and other things, if it fits it will suit me a lot better than the gold pleated one I tried.

My fantasy S&B Christmas present would be an art deco style diamond ring, with a central emerald cut stone and 2 baguettes either side, graduating in size. (Wanted this as my engagement ring, was too expensive to make! Ha!)

Ooh Blair love emerald cut diamonds, have a ring very similar but with smaller emerald cut diamonds instead of baguette on either side.

Tried the wide black trouser with SS look today (worn with Me and Em layering white shirt and Uniqlo marl grey boxy merino jumper) ....... V comfy but DD said "what on earth are you wearing" "it's called fashion"

Very at all your DH Xmas present stories. Asked my DH if I was getting anything sparkley for Christmas, his response was 'no, you didn't want anything'! Lovely ring blair maybe you could get something similar for the next big birthday / anniversary? I mentioned tonight my idea of getting a raindance 'inspired' ring for my 40th, the response of my DH - 'that will increase the house insurance'. Yep, I married the last of the romantics

Thinking ahead to Xmas day and what to wear. Just got MIL and SIL here, neither of whom have much idea in terms of style never mind fashion whereas I like to make a bit of an effort. I've got a couple of ideas, what do you think you might wear?

On Christmas day I'll probably just wear jeans and a blouse with sparkly or velvet shoes. Ive got a few festive things this week so may drag out a dress at some point.
