shop I read somewhere that pineapple juice is meant to be good for coughs due to some enzyme in it. Not sure if it's true but might be worth a try if your DS is suffering. Hope you have a fun prosecco filled night!

That's good on the alterations blair. I never think about getting things altered but I'm sure it would definitely improve the fit of a couple of things.

Glad things are going well mara. Your OOTD sounds great. I guess if anything goes that gives you a great spectrum of potential outfits.

queenc it was me looking for mascara recommendations. Which max factor one are you using? I thought the masterpiece max was 'the one' until my latest purchase but maybe a different one would be better?

No fashion news here. Got a date night with DH tomorrow and in town. Woo hoo! Will have to peruse my wardrobe for a suitable warm outfit.

Grrr! Anyway I just wanted to mention to everyone that my favourite mascara atm is Clinique lash power mascara.

It's a tubing mascara so you remove it with warm water but, unlike other tubing mascaras, it doesn't leave fibers on my contact lenses and it doesn't smudge.

The brush is teeny and so it the tube, which I find handy when traveling.

A brilliant 'drugstore' mascara is Covergirl lashblast volume (in the orange tube) but I don't know if they sell Covergirl in the UK. The brush is huuge but not annoyingly so.

miniShop is off again today so I am sat in a hospital waiting room for a knee assessment with him playing on my iPad. The hospital said it was ok to bring him which is a relief as I've been waiting a long time to be seen.
I have just bought the Benefit Rolla mascara which does a good job of curling my lashes (which are long but flat).

I have been debating whether to return the herve leger dress I bought from the outnet. it's got a very deep v neck and squishes the boobs together so you get way too much of an eyeful so it's going back.

Glad to read that your recovery is going well Blingy I love that black dress, but no god keeping it if you don't feel 100% comfortable in it. Thats one lesson I've learnt from being on here.

To Dry & Littlered hope you both feel better soon. I also am struggling with sinusitis/neuralgia down the side of my head. I have every spray/ nasal medication on the market & it's taking forever to improve.

Last night was fine - low key prosecco with the girls. Hospital today have referred me for physio on my knee - basically my knee cap is out of alignment and so clicking and grinding which is ouchy.

Am on the train into town now. Decided on my black leather skirt from jigsaw with a black jumper that has sheer sleeves and 'yoke' from monsoon and my LKbennet black suede ankle boots. Brightened up with my gold Swarovski bangle. This jumper always makes me look really thin so I love wearing it!
