Morning!

One hope it all goes well today. Thank goodness your cat is OK - hopefully she won't be too anxious :)

I'm in for the MU, thanks QueenC!

I'm going into town today with my Dsis to drop my coat off at Burberry for the sleeve adjustment :) will be so nice to have a proper catch up with her.

I have never been a "scarf wearer" and I think it's easy to see what kind of scarves are in fashion by searching "scarf outfit" in Pinterest. I definitely don't think silk scarves are out, but you have to tie them in a specific way (on your handbag or ankle if you look at some street style pics!) At the moment I'm wearing a grey cashmere woolly scarf every day and I still wear a pashmina too, either to keep my neck warm (but only with a coat) or in the evenings on holiday.

Stokey · 14/01/2017 09:37

I love scarves. I'm always cold, even in the summer. Though I did set fire to my cashmere one a couple of weeks ago cooking supper - doh. Could smell something burning, then realised it was me.

MNU in diary.

Larastheme · 14/01/2017 09:50

happy certain scarves are def out like those stars print cotton ones or infinity type ones, but winter scarves , shawls like LV or silk scarves like hermes and gucci ones are still in , silk square scarves are having a very big revival, everyone is wearing them, true you have to wear them in certain way so not to endup looking like mai tai.
A typical trendy look I see often is hermes 55cm in the bandana print . tied around the neck . what makes it look so contemporary is the clothes, usually simple slouchy sweater,or striped shirt, cropped straight leg jeans and Gucci slides or loafers, and most importantly great hair and minimal makeup, looks so fresh and amazing!

Good luck blair!

HappyGirlNow · 14/01/2017 10:14

Great summing up re the scarfs lara and I agree, just checking I hadn't lost the plot Grin

MarshaBrady · 14/01/2017 10:22

Love that post Lara

I wear big scarves in winter, the Etro one has been amazing and I pretty much wear it every day. I haven't thought to wear the Marant tartan one from last year, it feels a bit thin in comparison, and the older acne one too woolly.

I'm yet to wear a silk one, but not sure it is me.

Everyonelovessparkles · 14/01/2017 18:05

Think I can make march 25th too. Will be lovely to see you all again!

Karcheer · 14/01/2017 18:21

Hi all,
I got absolutely soaked walking the dogs.
And I've spent the afternoon watching call my agent on Netflix which is entirely in French with subtitles, it's really good.

My jeans arrived they are good so I took them straight to the alteration people, if I don't do it straight away,I never do.

Can we talk undercrackers? I really want to get back into lovely undies but can't find anything in a 28g. Anyone know of anything?

libertydoddle · 14/01/2017 20:47

Blingy will be the best to advise you there Karcheer. I think she's a similar size - actually who am I kidding? I know she's that size Grin ignores wierdness of knowing the bra sizes of fellow Voguettes

I am shattered. Have spent the day studying. Comfy but defo not stylish in Me&Em joggers, heatech, JCrew plaid shirt and slippers.

I keep meaning to do an update with links on my sales spree but haven't the energy right now. All I kept in the end were the Me&Em joggers and navy dress and the Boden print dress. All the returns though meant I felt justified buying a new necklace and some Celtic sheepskin slipper boots.

libertydoddle · 14/01/2017 20:49

Oh and I am really pleased so many people can do 25th March MU Smile

shopafrolic · 14/01/2017 20:56

Karcheer take a look at freya lingerie at FIgleaves or Bravissimo. And Debenhams and John Lewis.

littleredlipstick · 14/01/2017 21:06

I've spent the day in soft fleecy joggers and hooded top. Feeling rough had emergency dr appointment last night on 3rd lot of antibiotics and steroids for a chest infection which has been on and off since last September. Also had a chest X-ray looking very fetching in a hospital gown Grin

Have been perusing Pinterest and YouTube most of the day looking for spring inspiration

Karcheer · 14/01/2017 21:41

shop I was thinking of something along the la Perla lines, not everyday things.

little wish you better.

Longislandicetee · 14/01/2017 21:49

oh no littlered get well soonFlowers

One hope it all went well today.

So i finally left hospital this afternoon and have spent the rest of the day on the sofa with on and off napping. I am sore but everything is as expected. I will now spend the next few weeks recovering. I got home to be met with lots of bouquets of flowers which was lovely.Smile Now just trying to dodge the well meaning visitors!!Blush

Lib you have just made me laugh a lot.Grin

Karcheer I tend to wear mostly bras by Freya, Panache, a couple by Curvy Kate (don't think the latter are as nice though)

Everyonelovessparkles · 15/01/2017 07:48

Glad you are home blingy and on the road to recovery.

Hope you're feeling a bit better too littlered

Shame you didn't keep much of your big order lib. Did you send a lot of the Hobbs stuff back? I thought the Kensington skirt was a nice colour.

Tipping it down here so don't think we'll be up to much today. Hope everyone has a good day.

shopafrolic · 15/01/2017 08:04

Apologies Karcheer but you didn't specify. Freya fit the size you asked about. In my world their prices hardly qualify as everyday either and I find some of their styles very pretty. I'll leave it to some of the other big chested Voguettes to help.

libertydoddle · 15/01/2017 08:04

everyone the skirt was a gorgeous colour and had a little sparkly blue thread running through it that was beautiful. Unfortunately the pleat started at the wrong point for me and I looked rather wide in it!! The Hobbs jacket was very heavy wool and was very stiff so didn't feel comfortable. Miserable day here too.

queencerulean · 15/01/2017 08:09

LOVE these trainers

queencerulean · 15/01/2017 08:27

my next meet up outfit Grin

queencerulean · 15/01/2017 08:30

Someone else can wear these

queencerulean · 15/01/2017 08:31

for amber

queencerulean · 15/01/2017 08:34

Anyone want to dress up as a leopard?

libertydoddle · 15/01/2017 08:34

Platforms!!!! That's a pass from me on both. Would love to see you in that outfit QueenC Grin

queencerulean · 15/01/2017 08:44

I gave up with the fantasy shopping. Too much blush pink, too many ruffles (especially skirts) and too many bonkers things (see shoes above!). Going to the high st now...
for shop

queencerulean · 15/01/2017 08:56

for dry

Longislandicetee · 15/01/2017 09:00

QueenC Oh my eyes! My eyes!Grin

Shop big chested first Lib now youGrin Anyway, rest assured, your recommend was spot on - you can't get la Perla if you're 28G or 28E (looks at LibWink). I think the closest from a price point is rigby & peller if you have it especially made for you. Rigby & Peller also own a couple of brands - prima Donna and aubade (French brand) which i think do that size . I have worn that latter.

Dh got me underwear for Christmas 2 years ago and then on Christmas day moaned about stressful it was.Smile I tend to stick to la Perla for chemises.
