Yesterday was a hugely exciting day for me as I got a massive promotion at work. I had to do lots for it just before i got sick and in a weird way being sick had given me something else to focus on, but I didn't really sleep on Wednesday and Thursday night knowing I was going to find out yesterday. I had only told my mum and dh to stop me festering on it with lots of people. I have decided to reward myself with the Boodles bling I had already got dh was a bit at my new justification.

Am still here, have been lurking on and off but too much to do and not feeling too festive with DM going through treatment, just seems a bit wrong somehow.
But life goes on so having a festive afternoon at home with the DCs putting tree and decs up and then watching a Christmas movie once it's done. Going to do the wrapping tonight so I can see what I have left to buy as I just keep getting things and shoving them in a cupboard!
Have had a few Christmas nights out last weekend and last night which has been good, couple more to go over the next 2 weeks and some family visits to Santa and the panto which I love (probably more than the DC!).

Leather leggings which someone linked in here a while back. Didn't want to spend £££ so these were just the job at their recent 20% off event.
Finally this is lovely and goes with jeans or the leather leggings for a more casual look with biker boots grey sweater.

Did anyone else get the M & S advent calendar? I bought one for the first time and love it, really nice to have a little treat each day and done fab products so far.

I've just had another large delivery-the man had to use a trolley as there were 6 parcels . To be fair a lot of it is home stuff (curtains, duvet covers etc) as the girls are moving bedrooms. I've got a massive Ikea delivery coming this afternoon too which needs storing until they come to assemble it on Friday.

I had to finally decide yesterday that one of my favourite skirts is really miles too big now. I've been kidding myself that it's still wearable but it really isn't so into the charity bag it has to go and i must look for a replacement after christmas

My dress finally arrived, no thanks to warehouse's utterly rubbish CS. This shape is perfect for me. Got a 10 which is my usual dress size in warehouse but probably could have got away with an 8.

I was out last night with gf's but home by 11.30 - we were all either knackered or ill or both! Ootn was HL coated skinnies, metallic KM top and Ash jalouse - was going to wear the Dune red cage heels but none of the car drivers in my house were around so had to walk! My bling was swarovski wrap bracelet in grey.

Kitty I have the black Roshes, they are very light and comfy, but you couldn't wear them in the rain! Thea may be better for that as they are at least part leather I think.

Been out with friends around southbank today. Bit disappointed with my outfit of denim skirt, green ravello top, navy cardigan and navy coach bag as got dressed in a hurry in this morning and didn't really think about what wearing. It looks ok but I could have done better.

I have spent the last half hour unblocking a loo that DS blocked by using too much loo roll. Oh and it had flooded the bathroom.

So glamourous.... Anyway, we are having dinner with one of DH's colleagues and his wife tonight but I have no clue what to wear as I don't know the couple.

I think my trusty Manolos will have an outing again but apart from that, no idea.

kitty I have black nike trainers, similar to these I wear them a lot.
I finally went for a bra fitting today. I was told I am a 30dd not 32b that I have been wearing all these years. I am a complete cheapskate when it comes to underwear so it was quite painful forking out for 4 new bras. I hope at least I won't have to keep hoiking these back on my shoulders as I was my old ones. Need to find new pants next, why are most pants that horrid synthetic fabric these days? I feel as I'll get thrush just looking at them!
