Found this if any one liked the red jacket from earlier, very similar.

Lobster12345 · 08/01/2017 18:40

Wow this thread moves quickly. You all seem to have great memories about what you've all bought, what everyone likes etc. It;s really impressive if a little daunting. Blingy trench looks great. Hope yours turn up soon Blair Maradesbois have never heard of an epiphany cake so have been googling and now have a list of bakeries I really want to visit in London! Being on Countdown will be so cool Amber. Hope surgery goes well Blingy. I've ordered 3 pairs of flat shoes in the hope I can find some that I like and that don't look scruffy. Fingers crossed at least one pair will work.

FedupNagging · 08/01/2017 19:14

Thanks for the links Lib, you've given me some more ideas. I'm pretty sure I'll need to wear shortish skirts like Mara though otherwise will look less librarian chic and more verging into the whispers frumpy territory.

Don't forget to link your purchases Lobster, we all love a link in here.

Mara looking forward to seeing your links too.

FedupNagging · 08/01/2017 19:18

Blingy completely forgot to say I love those pointy flats.

I like both pairs of trousers too - I think you'll suit the j brands but need to find the right footwear to go with - superga's/converse maybe?

libertydoddle · 08/01/2017 19:20

Lobster we have a lot of meet ups so several people here know each other quite well and it's much easier to remember clothes when you have seen them or can actually picture them on someone - we always announce meet ups on the thread and you are very welcome to come to one in 2017.

Drywhitethanks · 08/01/2017 19:45

Go on Blingy wear a chemise, give them a Shock

Blair you never wear trousers? I'd love you to post daily outfit pic as I need inspiration and think we have similar tastes/style.

Mara I dream of one day making it to B Village.

Thinking about Spring Summer, anyone got a wish list?

I need some nude/tan flats and need to replace my silver flats that have worked so hard.
A couple of summer holiday dresses.
That's it.

Lobster I remember feeling like that! It definitely gets easier as time goes on and you get to "know" people.

Dry I probably wear trousers once or twice a month - dresses/skirts are way better for me for various reasons. I would be up for doing an OOTD pic (would force me to up my game!) but it would mean getting a colleague to take a photo as I keep shoes at work... will have a think or else just list it out Smile

shopafrolic · 08/01/2017 20:12

The only trousers I wear are leather Hmm

libertydoddle · 08/01/2017 20:17

OOTD photos would be fun!

Get you shop you sexy beast Wink

I have a 6.30am start to get to a meeting for 9.30am tomorrow - I am fully fed up of Tube strikes Angry

Everyonelovessparkles · 08/01/2017 20:29

DS had a great birthday thanks. He loved his scooter and his cake. Just had a little tea party at home. Wore my navy cord button through skirt and a green polo neck.

Nice brogues fedup and a great bargain. Good outfit ideas from lib.

Hope the trousers work out for you blingy. Apart from jeans I've given up on trousers. I just never seem to finds pair that suit. I agree with dry, wear one of your chemises to hospital. It might make you feel better and would give the nurses a Shock . In all seriousness, I'm thinking of you and hope it all goes ok. Flowers

Fingers crossed blair the trench will be yours in a matter of hours. Did you get a message saying failed delivery today?

Did you have a successful trip to Bicester mara? I haven't been for years, I hear it's pretty big now so might have to give it another go. The bakery sounds promising for the galette!

one I didn't realise you had been suffering for so long. You poor thing. And as blingy states, you must be so brave. Flowers

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 08/01/2017 20:38

everyone the online tracking said delivery was attempted just before 4pm, and something about "24 hours 9/1/17" so presume they will come back tomorrow. I had been tempted to go in and lurk around waiting!!

Mara looking forward to Gucci link!

I don't really have any wishlist yet, but I'm sure I will as it looks like the Spring colours will be extra Springy this year...! I would like a Gucci belt though.

Lib that sounds so annoying, hope it's bearable :(

AmberNectarine · 08/01/2017 20:55

Good luck blingy - hope it goes well. You poor thing. Got your PM - how exciting! Well deserved too!

Had a fun weekend gadding about - musical and karaoke with DH on Friday, drinks with my two oldest and best friends yesterday (25 years!) They gave me these beautiful earrings as a belated birthday gift which are so spot on for me. I just love them!

Yes, Countdown will be exciting - now slightly nervous at the prospect of humiliating myself on national TV

queencerulean · 08/01/2017 21:29

blingy and karcheer PM me your email addresses.
shop don't you have wide legged trousers?
lib that sonds a nightmare. But you don't have to contend with the tube much Longer!
I like trousers for work but struggle with footwear with them in winter. Once it's ballet shoes weather I'll be wearing them loads again. Luckily gap and warehouse seem to fit me well.

Presumably Bicester is a car job only? Was just wondering about a meet up there but no good if we all have to drive....

Karcheer · 08/01/2017 21:34

You can get the train from Marylebone.

Karcheer · 08/01/2017 21:36

I'm so rubbish at shopping, I want to order some jeans, I've looked at pretty much every website in the world and don't know what to order. I think I'd prefer trousers (slim leg, black) but that seems even harder. Why am I so rubbish 🙄

shopafrolic · 08/01/2017 21:39

I just don't wear them QueenC - I wore the black Uniqlo ones for a few weeks last year but that's it. I wear my jumpsuit a lot for evenings.....

kittyhello · 08/01/2017 21:41

Fab earrings Amber and very you, look forward to seeing you in Countdown, what will you wear?

Blingy hope the surgery goes well and you recover quickly, I like that you're planning your hospital wardrobe. I'll bet those trousers will surprise you and you'll look good in them. Interesting what you said upthread about not wearing skirts, I can't wear skirts either and I'm sure this is down to my "curvy" rear too, pencil skirts just look wrong on me. Sad

One huge Flowers for you, I don't know how you get through the day.

Lobster keep posting when you can and link your buys, look forward to seeing your new shoes.

Queen can you email the ST colour analysis article too please? I'm curious as to what I could be, I have an inkling I think.

Mara looking forward to seeing your Gucci bag, how was the Galette?

Karcheer I've made a ny resolution to stop wearing jeans every day, I always default to them despite have lots of trousers in my wardrobe.

Blair hope you'll meet your coat tomorrow, plus fingers crossed it 's the perfect fit for you.

Have bought some leggings but they're more like the 5 pocket very thick material ones from M&S, mine are from Next but not online and I've worn them with Nike Thea will also wear them with my pleather leggings once I've lost the Christmas lbs

like this

Lib I had to preview this post about 5 times to get the last link to work Wink

Longislandicetee · 08/01/2017 22:54

Karcheer, I think you put your finger on it, the jacket looked like it could be a Zara one, which is why I never clicked on the buy button! The Maje one is a good alternative, but now I am thinking it's probably too boxy for me.

Lobster, yes the thread does move quickly. We yap a lot!! As Lib, said, once you link a lot, and especially if you meet people you start knowing people's style and there are certainly a few ladies on here, who I think have a better instinct for what looks good on me. Do you have a pinterest board? We all follow each other on pin, so that jogs the memory.

FedUp, converse with those j brands is a fantastic idea! That's what was flummoxing me.

Dry, one of these days I will respond and say yes I do have a wish list! As for you and Everyone encouraging me to chemises...Grin. That's all just...Grin!

Kitty, my ability to look rubbish in skirts is harder to take when i see people like Dry and Marsha looking so foxy in them!Envy

Amber, as I said in my pm I am just so chuffed for you and inspired. No way you will make a wally of yourself!

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 08/01/2017 23:00

so it has finally come time to pack up all but the most basic of outfit sets to last the week! I know they will be going with me but it feels weird to know im not going to have immediate access for a while and will have to rummage in suitcases and bags til we get straight. well, it could be worse and i'm sure i can be true to my own style with limited pieces, it's not the worst hardship to endure is it!

thank you all for your kindness, it is always nice to know that people are thinking of you, it makes the day go a bit easier when people care. I can be as whingy as the next person though don't any of you doubt that Grin

maradesbois · 09/01/2017 00:18

Good luck for the move One, can sense a little apprehension in your words but am so sure you'll feel immediately at home once you're reunited with dp.

Everyone Happy birthday to your ds, train track cake sounds fab.

Lobster yes, as lib knowing each other's tastes comes a lot from meet ups and pin exchanges but also regular contact on the thread for example I really get the style of Voguettes such as lara and One neither of whom I have met irl. Hang around and we'll get to know you properly soon enough Smile

So, my news. Galette was superb, definitely the best we've ever had so huge thanks to Shop for the link. Dh got the feve but we've hidden it back inside what's left for ds to 'discover' tomorrow.

Bicester bag is this Gucci marmont in red. I've been after a red bag for a while and soon as I saw this knew it was right. Also got a black Stella blazer and lots of very bargainous bonpoint for ds so a successful trip. Our friends loved it too.

littlered What sort of pearl earrings are you after? I love the Dior tribal ones but didn't dare go in there after big spend!

littleredlipstick · 09/01/2017 05:47

Mara yep it's the tribal ones for me too but I'm the grey colour. pin.it/98BgAJs
Hoping the link works as doing this from phone!

littleredlipstick · 09/01/2017 06:27

Love the bag from Gucci!

I am tempted by a blue floral silk scarf in there, the only reason I haven't bought it is because I don't know how to wear it Blush

shopafrolic · 09/01/2017 06:49

Oh Mara the relief! So glad it was good Smile Love the bag. I haven't been to Bicester or years - perhaps I need to revisit.
Morning all. First day back at school for DS (he was in tears last night) Sad
And I get to go back to Pilates which is much needed as my back has suffered without it.
One I haven't been good at reading everything recently. Sorry for you increased pain and I hope the move goes really well - I'm sure you'll love the fresh start and more time with DP.
Blingy thinking of you for tomorrow.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 09/01/2017 07:17

thanks shop it will be a good move for me, i just need to get my head out of negative mood and see the benefits rather than where i'm currently at which is seeing all the things we've got left to do and how time is running out!! ahhh poor DS shop i'm sure he'll be okay after a few days though, going back after xmas is always the worst for little ones i've found
