The dcs were in early this morning (good practice for tomorrow I guess
) so I have just spent a delightful 15 minutes looking at all the links.
Bernice you always have such a good eye, love the links, especially the first 3 coats. Not sure about the voluminous coat though!
Lib I think your sales splurges have become as legendary as mine! I can see how your purchases are so perfect for you. Not sure about that chunky knit though. I always think you have to look waif like to look good in it. Love to know what you think when you get it. I am mostly disappointed in me&em yet again this season, though I didn't realise they do short layering tops now, so I will get them.
Marsha they might reduce that shirt further so you might want to hold out.
Mara, poor you with the cold. Very excited for your new job though....I have lost track, is this the one paid or puts you on track to a paid job?
Lobster, I work in the City too, and was happy with my work style for a long time, but really struggled with my casual style. I am 5'1", size 6 with boobs, and size 3/3.5 feet. My autumn/winter casual style has gradually become cashmere sweater, or embellished top (a few from j crew), or breton (inspired by Shop) or sparkly top or Desigual top. All crew necked and worn with skinny jeans. I also branched out to plaid shirts inspired by Linus which surprised me by suiting me. I also have a few knitted dresses from Karen Millen and Hobbs. Casual shoes tend to be R&B ballets, converse, biker boots Uggs
, or Stuart Weizmann lowland boots or various Aquatalia long boots. I don't tend to do trainers as I only ever look scruffy in them, not cool. Hope that helps!
Dry, that fire information stuff is very scary and plenty of food for thought!
