Forgot to say, took look at the website you mentioned Karcheer and saw these for Bernice

leopard trainers can't remember if you kept or returned the pair you bought.

Was also looking on the Whistles website and saw this dress and thought of Dry

dress

Longislandicetee · 01/01/2017 20:47

love the breton. And love the way it's styled. also love the prada sweater.

Hello littlered, welcome back.

We had pils over today - I haven't seen most of my family over the Xmas period. Sad We did a last hurrah of Christmas- full Sunday roast with christmas pudding and mince pies for dessert and last play of Christmas music! Also gave dh his last present, a ps4 game which he's very happy about!

I was looking at my dressing room again and think I need another declutter. I got rid of 80 items of clothes last time but maybe I wasn't ruthless enough! Feels like I could do with losing another 30 items. Blush

AmberNectarine · 01/01/2017 20:54

Mine needs an epic purge before we move blingy. Could probably halve it to be honest. Not shoes. Which reminds me, I still need to send shop those boots and the tee

MarshaBrady · 01/01/2017 20:57

A few things I meant to say earlier

Welcome back Karcheer and big good luck for your new job

Welcome back to littlered stick around,

Mara great news on the internship, how exciting! would love to hear more about it. Also completely agree on the dark navy trio, so elegant and understated

Bernice it would be very lovely to see you at a mu this year

Shop 2017 will be lovelier, onwards and upwards Thanks

We had a last hurrah champagne in the fridge, which may have just been popped, just because.

Longislandicetee · 01/01/2017 21:22

oh Marsha just said what I was thinking but forgot to say!Grin

Amber believe me you want to declutter before you move!

LinusLovesBretons · 01/01/2017 22:29

Welcome back littlered

I love that SL breton queenc but I am not sure if those embelishments wouldn't start to annoy me after one season.

When we moved I was super ruthless and gave away/donated/threw away lots of clothes and shoes.

It felt really good to finally get rid of all the clutter, not just clothes but also furniture and things we had been keeping 'in case we need them'.

We've only been living here for about 6 weeks and when I was unpacking I quickly put away my clothes in the walk-in wardrobe without giving it much thoighg but now it's starting to annoy me so I will have to re-organise everything.

Drywhitethanks · 01/01/2017 22:59

Oh I love it when voguettes come back, hello again Red, new year, new start, do stay Smile

I'm not doing dry Jan, just cutting down. Waking up with a clear head is fabulous.

Kitty that Whistles dress is indeed very me, love it.
And those red shoes QueenC, love.

Right....if I buy or talk about buying a lace dress please stop me.

oh god YES Amber definitely declutter and be ruthless before you move, it's so much easier to do it before you move than when you get there and are up to your ears in boxes and bags! I have been brutal and thrown out/given away/donated to much stuff, truth told, i cant believe i had so much stuff in this flat because frankly, this flat is tiny really!

Hello again red nice to 'see' you again

Stokey · 02/01/2017 09:18

Happy new year, Voguettes, was too hungover yesterday to post.

Love your buys Fedup, I may copy. I've been wanting a chunky poloneck & something velvet.

shopafrolic · 02/01/2017 14:25

Amber happy to pay postage....Smile
Just been for a long walk on the Dunstable Downs. Love it there - views for miles. Super cold but sunny.
I ordered a roll neck from Cos that I've had my eye on for ages. Not in the sale but I've been waiting months and had some Christmas money. Other than that, no fashion news......
DS doesn't go back to school until the 9th so we'll head into London at some point this week. I foolishly promised him a visit to Hamleys!

libertydoddle · 02/01/2017 15:17

Don't buy him any Hamley's brand toys shop. They are all complete rubbish IME.

In Dublin airport, DH in a mood. Am going to abandon him and explore make up!!

littleredlipstick · 02/01/2017 15:37

I wish my kids are the age where Hamleys is the only place they would like to go! My youngest last time in London was all clothes shops - vans, billionaire boys club, harrods etc. He is now pestering to go back to Bicester and asked me if £46 was too much to spend on pyjamas Shock

To be fair he does earn his own money from YouTube and the few bits we got from London were from his budget. He has inherited my taste in the finer things in life Grin

shopafrolic · 02/01/2017 15:45

What does he do on YouTube Littlered?

Larastheme · 02/01/2017 15:51

shop, I went to all the famous toy shops in London ,just before Christmas, its what i Imagine dante's 9 circles of hell look like Grin
Hamleys made me want to cry! But I figure its much more quiet now,

shopafrolic · 02/01/2017 16:03

I'm going to hate every minute of it Lara I know I will. He wants to go to the new Lego store instead. I haven't told him about any of these places but still he KNOWS Grin

littleredlipstick · 02/01/2017 16:06

Gaming videos - mine craft, over watch, kingdom of hearts etc shop

I'm often asked if I can not shout at the dogs while he is filming Grin

shopafrolic · 02/01/2017 17:00

Blimey - I clearly know nothing! How does that make him money?

Karcheer · 02/01/2017 17:54

I've spent the afternoon in selfridges. Returned a coat dh got me for Christmas which I didn't like and couldn't find anything to replace it. Now I've a gift card for £371 :/

littleredlipstick · 02/01/2017 19:21

He makes money from Adsense which is connected to his videos. Each time a video is watched he gets paid. He has been lucky he has a great small network of YouTube friends which have helped him and they do meet ups at gaming festivals like insomnia.

Drywhitethanks · 02/01/2017 20:18

Red bet my DS is watches his YouTube stuff. I asked the stupid question once......."why on earth are you watching a film of someone else playing a game?" I'm obviously old and an idiot Hmm

Shop although Hamleys is awful for adults, my DCs still talk about the time we went, in the same way as they talk about Disneyland.......worth the pain just for that.

Karcheer · 02/01/2017 20:41

I love hamleys.

Karcheer · 02/01/2017 21:26

Whilst I was in selfridges dh suggested I try on a black givency blazer, it was lovely, but didn't fit anywhere, literally! Anyway, I said to him I was thinking of going back to black and he said he never understood why I stopped wearing it, he thinks I was ill advised and that I really suit black, far better than the browns and greens I now wear.

queencerulean · 02/01/2017 21:37

red my ds (9) wants to be a you tuber when he grows up. Spends hours watching dan tdm. Like dry, I just don't get it. Interesting to see that there is money to be made from it though.
karcheer you've always missed black, you've struggled to find anything you like since being diagnosed an autumn. I really think that you need to either go back to the original consultant, see someone else for a second opinion or just ignore it all and wear what you want.

littleredlipstick · 02/01/2017 21:49

I was surprised at first he makes about £50 a month can be more if he makes a lot of videos.

He is quite shy about them but I am so proud of him, he is nearly at 30k subscribers. If your children have heard of Sam gladiator, grian, or j the star they will have seen him in their videos.

Karcheer · 02/01/2017 21:49

queen haha! I'm so boring with this aren't I.
The lady I saw no longer works as a consultant.
I think I'm just going to wear and buy what I like. I've lived with the diagnosis for two years and I've struggled.
Funnily enough I found shopping really easy the other day when I was looking for more work like wear, rather than casual. I think I just don't do casual and just feel scruffy. Black and tailored just feels better. I think I'll probably wear some of the autumn colours but just not exclude black.
I think I'm going to enjoy wearing heels again, I've always felt odd and overlooked in flats and I think this hasn't helped with my identity. Amazing what an effect clothes have on us.
