not that they ever really had it!

I was in there this morning, there was not one thing I would even have considered trying on!

And the kids clothes - OMG - they fell into two categories, those that would look good if you are over 70 and those that would make your dd look like a tiny prostitute!!

Very odd.

I just love what the stylists match the already grotesque items up with. Do you think they know how much the website is ridiculed and how off-putting it is ?

They have (misguidedly) gone for the 'batik' look in a big way

EnidLloydFoxe · 05/02/2007 14:06

Influenced by this season?s love of all things romantic, this tan skirt shows a fresh use of crinkle corduroy enhancing its long and fluid silhouette
Long length
Crinkle feature
Comes with belt
Flared hem

a 'fresh use'? yes if holding a gun to corduroy's head and making it humiliate itself can be described as fresh

CountessDracula · 05/02/2007 14:06

I may send them a link to this thread!
Should I?

Jeesus, what are they on? Are there any women under 75 on the team at all? Surely the designers can't have presented these designs to general approval?

Perhaps it is a secret plot to make us all look like crazed frumps - Thatcher's last stand...

EnidLloydFoxe · 05/02/2007 14:06

no they will sue

CountessDracula · 05/02/2007 14:07

this must be modelled on the clothes made from curtains in the Sound of music

OP posts:
CountessDracula · 05/02/2007 14:08

they can't sue
it's only defamatory if it is untrue
we are all right
they are wrong

find a skirt by per una that you would wear

itsmeNDP · 05/02/2007 14:12

Model looks like she has been photographed mid trip-over

frogs · 05/02/2007 14:12

Blimey, these really are all puke-o-rama.

Surely it can't be that hard to have a successful clothes collection? Could they not rip off Toast at 2/3 of the price?

And for the kids' collection you would rip off mini-boden and Monsoon at 2/3 of the price. Rather than ripping off, say, Woolies at twice the price.

This really baffles me.

itsmeNDP · 05/02/2007 14:13

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

brimfull · 05/02/2007 14:13

what is so difficult about designing a nice knee length skirt fgs!
You'd think the average height of british women was 7 foot. The only type of figure that looks decent in ankle skimming skirts

CountessDracula · 05/02/2007 14:14

I guess I MAY wear this but I would have to be paid to do it
