not that they ever really had it!

I was in there this morning, there was not one thing I would even have considered trying on!

And the kids clothes - OMG - they fell into two categories, those that would look good if you are over 70 and those that would make your dd look like a tiny prostitute!!

Very odd.

I like the links to the girls stuff too.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 05/02/2007 13:49

I disagree. To an extent anyway.

They do have some nice bits there. But, I have to say - their website does them no justice. (Not least because the models either look like they need a hip replacing or they have cramp).

In the larger stores, there appears to be stuff there that just isnt on the website. There is a pink and green lace-type kaftan which I adore but have never found online. They have alot of really gorgeous colours too. Greens especially. You just can see it on their site.

I do like the following:
i really like this, although the picture does it no justice

again, looks better in RL

CountessDracula · 05/02/2007 13:54

That is VERY Mrs Thatcher and it absolutely buries the model.

noddyholder · 05/02/2007 14:01

Oh no all that embroidery and beads so dated and the kind of thing my mums social work colleauges wear

EnidLloydFoxe · 05/02/2007 14:02

and the NAMES of the per una collectoins!

Wild fire
candi floss
highland heather

I mean fgs

itsmeNDP · 05/02/2007 14:02

Tha jeacket, I mean

snowleopard · 05/02/2007 14:02

NDP... that skirt is vile

Imagine if you saw it in a charity shop! You wouldn't touch it with a bargepole. (Which is my test for "is that nice or not?" If you wouldn't want it from a charity shop, you don't want it.)

I think per una are having some kind of misguided attempt to be a bit like jigsaw and monsoon, but whoever is doing the designs just doesn't know when to stop adding frilly/fiddly bits and bobs. And M&S have always had horrific colours.

CountessDracula · 05/02/2007 14:02

appalling

snowleopard, I do think that my skirt beats them all in the hideousness stakes.

CD, that one is pretty grim though
