'm now also in PJs. been for early dinner out & now sat don with another glass of wine. (I'm old so allowed to do early out, early bed. lol)
Wore my old All Saints ankle boots, not really feeling the love for the pistols. Night all.

Drywhitethanks · 21/10/2016 20:23

Dune boots are here....have tried and tried and finally reached the conclusion that they are not for me, although I love the idea. My legs need lengthening and look better in an ankle boot with heel. Back they go.

shopafrolic · 21/10/2016 20:41

Sorry to change the tune but I've just donated £10 to Stand Up To Cancer by texting FIGHT to 70404. It'd be awesome if any Voguettes or lurkers fancied doing the same. Thanks muchly x

HappyGirlNow · 21/10/2016 20:50

Nice one shop

Everyonelovessparkles · 21/10/2016 21:25

dry good call about the boots. at least by trying them at home you know now and can just look for some ankle boots.

shopafrolic · 21/10/2016 22:14

Dream shame about the Pistols. Has the zip issue out you off?

shopafrolic · 21/10/2016 22:14

*put

Dreamqueen · 22/10/2016 07:52

Apologies for last nights typos. I obviously had more wine than I thought.

Will donate today Shop Thanks for suggesting it & for details.

I still like the pistols but the All Saints boots looked better with the midi pleated skirt. They are cut lower & showed a bit more leg.

Longislandicetee · 22/10/2016 11:33

Morning! I am wearing my lowlands today for the first time and I am totally in love with them. They're grey so wearing them with just checking j crew toothpick which are very skinny skinnies, cream karen millen bateau neck chunky sweater and a grey and black Elgin cashmere scarf. Plus my Mulberry Roxanne. My splash of colour is from my orange clic clac bracelet and my aquamarine and diamond ring. (Its a 7ct aquamarine surrounded by 1ct of sparkles and ought to look too much but it doesnt. kids herself. After a somewhat crappy week with family issues, I feel all chirpy as I feel very chic in my casual outfit. By contrast on Tuesday and Wednesday I got it sooooo wrong with a horror bag and coat combo and kept hoping I wouldn't bump into anyone I knew on the train. Grin

Longislandicetee · 22/10/2016 11:37

Meant to say QueenC, I am thinking hard for you but lacking any inspiration for you beyond what the others have suggested. Cashmere scarf? Or is that too dull? I am lusting after the Burberry classic one.

QueenCobalt · 22/10/2016 11:45

Thanks for all the suggestions. amber came up trumps with the star necklace as it just made my heart leap!
To whoever mention the LV scarves, they are seriously lush but I'm just not too keen on the monogramming.
I checked out all the shoe sites suggested and whilst there were some beauties, nothing leapt out at me. I think they're the sort of thing I need to try on rather than just order online.
I would love a missoni scarf but again would like to try on. I don't really want to get dh to order and then be disappointed in it.
shop I did consider getting a cuff but doubt I'll be changing the stud for 6 months (the time it takes to heal) and after waking up in agony as I was asleep on it, it may never heal!
blingy I've been looking at scarves. I want a cobalt/navy patterned one but not checked. Apart from missoni i've not anything I love and I've been looking at all price points.

No exciting plans here today. We may go out for tea but the dc are knackered so I'm tempted to just leave them chilling on screens all day.

AmberNectarine · 22/10/2016 12:42

Ah, excellent. I do think Dinny Hall is a great brand for you, pretty and dainty.

Longislandicetee · 22/10/2016 13:45

Great choice QueenC and great recommendations as usual Amber! I hadn't heard of Dinny Hall till last Christmas when I came across them and got dsis this necklace. She loves it.

Everyonelovessparkles · 22/10/2016 14:03

Lovely necklace amber and queenc. Glad you've found something.

Happy holidays to lib hope you have a lovely time.

blingy your outfit sounds fab!

Am out for a family lunch with SIL and MIL, just a local pub near them. OOTD is tan suede button through skirt, cream top with gold glitter spots, gold sparkles bangle and my new LBK boots. I'm liking this outfit.

Hope everyone has a good Saturday!

libertydoddle · 22/10/2016 16:19

I love the sound of your outfit everyone and Blingy's sounds fab too.

In the holiday villa. V tired, DD woke up several times last night.

Think i've packed light but I am going to keep note of what I do wear this week.

Waves to LibEnvyEnvyEnvy

Everyone love the sound of your outfit, especially the skirt. I saw something like it (I think!) in River Island today but nothing in a size 6. I did by a pleather skirt but got home and dh said he didn't like it, so that sucked the joy out of it!

Dh and I are off out for a casual dinner then Bridget Jones, we may be the last folks in the country to have seen it! Think i am going to stay in what I am wearing as I really like it. Though Dh wants me to wear the highlands again. close your ears LibGrin

shopafrolic · 22/10/2016 17:58

I'm seeing it next week Blingy so you're not the last :)
Have a wonderful break Lib
Off out tonight for dinner and drinks with the NCT mums. No idea what to wear.

Dreamqueen · 22/10/2016 18:00

Hope you have a lovely holiday Lib

I haven't seen Bridget jones either Sad

Everyonelovessparkles · 22/10/2016 18:18

I haven't seen Bridget jones either, in fact I can't remember the last thing I saw at the cinema it was that long ago. Blush

Thanks lib and blingy. My skirt is from m&s last year. It was a good buy.

Jigsaw and whistles seem to have a few nice leather skirts in blingy if you fancy one. They're all too short for me at 5'6 but gather you are quite petite so maybe a better length for you?

Have a nice time tonight shop.

Hope DD sleeps better tonight lib. My DD is a good sleeper but (as you all know) DS is not and never sleeps well away from home.

AmberNectarine · 22/10/2016 20:29

I haven't seen it either - am intending to though.

I wore my Highlands tonight too blingy, to a kids disco. Wore with black skinnies, this shirt, leopard SL bag and leopard rockstud cuff. DH seems unaffected. Yet when I was wandering around in my nude heattech vest and a pair of PJ bottoms with last nights make up halfway down my face it was all systems go. Strange man.

AmberNectarine · 22/10/2016 20:30

Yes I got the Jigsaw leather wrap skirt. Really like it but wish I had been able to get hold of a 6.

Stokey · 22/10/2016 22:49

Enjoy Bridget Blingy. I saw it a couple of weeks ago, thought it was quite good but got a bit obsessed by the dodgy London geography - living in Borough, doing ante-natal classes in Stratford & having a baby at UCH, madness.

I've just watched Room and am in pieces. Brilliant but very emotional.

Have a great holiday Lib, hope Dd settles down.

You've made me think I should have bought the pleather pleats Dry. Maybe after HT.

No fashion news here, we've been stomping through the woods.

Great necklace QueenC, very you.

QueenCobalt · 23/10/2016 07:22

I haven't seen Bridget either and have no intention to. I hated the last book and so it's put me off.

It's been a while since I did any fantasy shopping so may do some now...

QueenCobalt · 23/10/2016 07:29

I can see a few of you in this jumper -amber, stoked, shop

QueenCobalt · 23/10/2016 07:40
